My experience ordering from DHGate has been very positive on each of the occasions I have ordered through them. The sellers shipped my order quickly, and I received the items in good time. My most recent order was exactly as the seller said it would be - very impressive for the price.
I was going to order a set of golf clubs and video camera. It was very difficult for their system to except my credit card. I tried many times My suspicions were aroused. So, I gave it one more try but on a cheaper item, a memory card. The order was accepted. Ive waited over 7 weeks still not arrived. Luckily I did not attempt to buy the golf clubs or camera.
This company support fraudulent practices. The companies they deal with even more so. You place an order and cancel the order shortly afterwards. They rush to take your money send the item, in spite of the cancellation and repeated communication will not allow the item returned. The item is first of all damaged, inferior and not as shown. They request that you start a dispute and even though the info was sent to them they are judge and jury refusing to return your money in every which way. Just a waste of time.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. I don't like to support Amazon, but after this lesson I learned that Amazon is way, way better. They value their customers. Never had an issue with Amazon!

This site is very good and most things in there are decent quality. It is not a scam. But make sure to check the sizing charts for everything you buy as some things are in Asian sizing so order a couple sizes up or some are normal fitting

Delivery is too long and you have to pressure them into sending your items. Bad customer service and bad customer support. And I only received one of my items back even after I returned items that was the wrong sizes. And did not get a refund or anything
Phone is absolutely great. And cheaper than anywhere on a Chinese site. Delivery was faster than fast, for China (DHL, 2 to 5 delivery days, working days). But what I didn't saw coming was that I had to pay 51,43 because of the customs costs (maybe for the contributor who 'cared for my package in the customs?).
Anyway, everything is so good, except the extra costs what I didn't knew.

The merchant did not supply a return postage. In America when we shop online we get free exchange and return. I still haven't gotten my refund! Need this resolved before I take this issue to the media!
I sent this company an Instant Message from their website when I panicked & thought my wedding dress would be too small... they got back to me in minutes & also continued to respond pleasantly & promptly when questions about shipping arose... i received my wedding dress yesterday & its it's more gorgeous than the picture on the website... this is a $2000 dress I got for $200 bucks

DHgate has helped me save money on personal product purchases and has also helped me find products to further my business. I enjoy coming to the website every day in search of my next purchase. The only reason I give 4 out of 5 stars on quality because whenever I am viewing a message about an inquiry of a product, there is the option to "View this item" directly from the message, but whenever I click that button and select the option, the link always fails and the page never gets pulled up. Of course there are many other ways to view the product, but the convenience of opening the item right from the inquiry would be fantastic, if I could get it to work.
You can buy stuff cheap on this website, as most sellers are in china so you can get wholesale items and whatnot. KEEP IN MIND that the items are sold by people and there are some bad apples. They do have a return service that is run by the website but i've only used it once and the seller was very courteous. Items will usually take a week to a month to arrive if you live in america

I have been trying for over 2 months to get my money refunded due to them sending the wrong product. Product was sent back and received by seller and I am told now DH gate can no longer handle my case and can't get my refund, even though they hold the money during disputes. They are a joke and a scam!

I did see online that you have to communicate via Facebook, but the person asked for my debit card information to track my order. I bought 3 pairs of shoes. First 2 identical and they came in 3 weeks. No issues. 3rd pair came in 4 weeks and were defective. 1 shoe had topstitching in 2 different colors on one section only. The soles were lined in the exact same material you line skirt slips in! That super slippery thin polyester material. The material is wrinkled throughout both shoes and is unevenly glued on. I try to get a ref but when you try to file a dispute for ANY reason it provides an automated response that your claim does not qualify. That means 100% of all disputes for defective material or not as described or does not function as declared are denied automatically by the website. This seller keeps saying: 1/2 refund, but doesn't say a dollar amount. Never credits me either. I have had to call my credit card company. Another sellers shoes still have not arrived and it's been 6 weeks! Can't get my money back for item not received. It's about $95.
Tip for consumers:
Do not trust the dispute platform. It’s not real. You complete everything and it just gives an automated response that your dispute is denied. No review. I claimed item not as described. Then defective material on the dispute application. Instantly an automated response said: Your claim does not qualify. No review process. Nothing. Automatically denied!!!

I have had success buying multiple items from a different seller there but once you have a problem or receive a defective item or the shipping is lost or takes up to 2 months you’re left without help. Misleading messages just say sorry but wait. Or partial refund of the item but no dollar amount. The dispute platform is fake. It turns down instantly your request without review.

I should have read reviews online before ordering. I was scammed out of $61. Shoes were not as described. Size chart said US9.5 is a 43. They were huge, more like an 11. I'm told by seller, too bad, you ordered. Had to wait 10 days for DHGate mediation, which was a total joke on me. They immediately side with the sellers, release funds to them, close dispute. How is that mediation? (Only an $5 store credit offered for next purchase, by the seller!). Also, DHGate removed my dispute information from the account. I took screenshots.
They could care less if you are a new customer.

DHGate offers alot of products for cheap prices. The customer service is better than I saw with other similar sites, very friendly, quick, and helpful at the same time. They will answer all questions in no time.
I bought a wrist watch on dec 12th 2015 the item got stalked on transit until now. I made official complain and was told to make enquiry at the local post office of the world. Very vague response suggesting that nothing was dispatched.
