I started Diet Doctor in September 2016 and have lost 26 kilos of unwanted fat.
And I have maintained it for 2 years, I will never regain the weight as I enjoy the food
And the lifestyle.
Thank you Diet Doctor.
With all the support, practical help and to the point education available on this site 24/7, keto and LCHF is easy to start out with, or getting out of a stall in a jiffy.
It is affordable, easy to manage and in my opinion the best low carb, real food site on the web.
Eating keto has almost eliminated my fibro pain. I am a farm wife/grandma and the meals I make have to satisfy my family. I have yet to find a recipe that, in my Hubby's words, 'you don't have to do that again!'. Sometimes I add more spice but the flavours are always good.
A friend is dealing with Primary lateral sclerosis and both her doctor & nutritionist recommend keto. She has struggled with changing her diet and I sent her to this site for yummy recipes to make the transition easier.
Thanks for all the info and, especially, for all the recipes!
It's incredible how much information is stored here, how accessible it is, how absolutely DELICIOUS yet simple to prepare the foods are. Diet doctor is my go to for everything keto. I'm really grateful.
Started my LCHF journey in the beginning 2011. Diet Doctor site has been an important library in my success. Lost 25 kg of weight, diabetes II in remission in few months, gout in remission, better energy and mental health. This summer I changed to carnivore and it heeled even my prostate problems. After "reseting" my metabolic health in few future months, I will return to LCHF/keto.
I started keto in June, and found after my acupuncturist has been doing it for over a year; he recommended dietdoctor.com, and I love it. I lost ten pounds in the week challenge, I've lost 20 so far. But what matters more to me is that my daily headaches have almost totally stopped. First I stopped the sumatriptan, which I was taking daily. Then slowly and carefully I stopped the topimax, now no migraine medication, and only a hint of a migraine rarely. The article on dietdoctor by Elena Gross is what turned the tide. Thank you! (By the way, I don't eat eggs or dairy products, reactive to them after emergency intestinal resection 40 years ago, I do eat poultry and fish, and now have found some great non-dairy butter and cheese (Miyoko Mozz) and almond-based cream cheese (Kite Hill).)
Real, no nonsense information.
It is geared towards the low carb high fat AKA keto. If this is not for you then move on.
Everything is buyer beware in this world but I have to say this has saved my health. I been following the keto plan of 20 or fewer carbs per day for a couple of months now. Under my doctor's supervision, I have been able to stop both my Type 2 diabetes (Kombiglyze and Jardiance) and get off my high blood pressure meds. The fat is beginning to melt and by this time next year I expect to have lost almost a whole person!
I am now mixing in the intermittent fasting and must say I have never felt better.
Dr. Eenfeld, a real MD, not a Phd or a researcher, or a guy just trying to sell stuff has assembled the premier resources for those interested in the low card high fat lifestyle.
I thank DietDoctor and God every day for showing me this path. It has really been and continues to be life changing!
Worth the price of membership. From meal plans and recipes, to inspiring success stories, to expert columns, to easy-to-follow guides, this is a very valuable tool.
Super website full of helpful hints and ideas and great explanations. Science based not kooky. The explanatory videos about low carb myth busting are great.
Amazing articles, information, I did a month, was too busy, would love the opportunity again.
I have read articles for a long time, they often bring up facts, that get out on the news later

Answer: This is a keto low-carb diet, similar in many ways to other strict low-carb diets. This is an approach that has been extensively tested in dozens of high-quality studies, that have shown that it results in more weight loss, less hunger, and potentially increased metabolic rate. At Diet Doctor, we work to make low carb simple. And everything you need is available for free, forever. Our premium services are also free for a month. Answer: $9 per month according to the site. Hope that helps.
Answer: Hi Deborah! We don't sell or recommend specific supplements. Our premium program is free to try out for a month, after that it's USD 9.99 per month or 99 dollars per year. Losing weight happen at individual speeds that can not be predicted in advance, but realistically and long term 1-2 pounds per week is a very good result for a sustainable and enjoyable plan. That would thus take around 30 months at that speed, and the total cost of using our program for those 2.5 years (after the free trial) would be 250 dollars on the monthly plan or somewhat cheaper on the yearly plan. Best, Andreas Eenfeldt

Losing weight happens at individual speeds that can not be predicted in advance, but realistically and long term 1-2 pounds per week is a very good result for a sustainable and enjoyable plan. Losing 45 pounds would thus take around 30 months at that speed, and the total cost of using our program for those 2.5 years (after the free trial) would be 250 dollars on the monthly plan or somewhat cheaper on the yearly plan.
