Took over 20 DAYS to unlock! And spent the 100 to get it unlocked immediately. And bc of the longest waiting time. I now have unlocked my phone for no reason. So direct unlock wasted my time and my money. Sent multiple emails stating that the almost month wait was too much, and wanted a refund but was declined! 0/10. Had to put one star just to even write this review but that's the only reason I put one star. Highly disappointed and definitely not satisfied.

Require an ill advertised 2nd fee to actually perform an unlock! In my case the unlock was advertised as within 1-24hrs. I paid the £19.99 (plus VAT) then was given another bill shortly after for £230 to complete the unlock. My advice is to research this company before purchasing. I would avoid.
I used this service as it was supposed to be quicker then going through the provider direct (which was a 10day timescale) I paid £19.99 on top of the provider charge. Although I had 2 emails apologising for the delay. The telephone customer service was only for orders not queries in the delay. It took 3wks and 1 day to get it unlocked which indirectly was the provider delays so I think it was a costly way to do it.
It is SCAM be aware of this, first at all they make an offer of USD $28 within a minute they inform you need to pay USD $50 than apparently you should read while paying the first fee, then waiting mor than 48 HRS to finally telling you need to pay an extra remote technician about USD$187. Their answer is that I can use that useless credit note to pay it...total investment usd $266 really? Also they don't allow me to answer they back

I was not sure what to expect or difficult it would be to use the site. Not being very savvy I was worried. However, it was as simple as 1 -2-3. I followed the very simple steps paid my money and within 24hrs I got an email to say my phone was unlocked. I followed the directions given and I home free.

Be careful before u unlock on this site. I did order to unlock my phone. They will charge u 2 times. What they charge you at the beginning they said that's pre-order. Then ask to charge u the second times which is much more. So, the price they listed is not the final price.
I asked for the refund when i see the second charge request, also i know thry wont be able to unlock my phone. They said no(but stated in the previous email if i dont want to continue with the second charge, i could request a refund.)
I ended up disputing the money with my bank.

Worldwide unlock worked for 2 iPhones locked to Softbank, Japan.
I just didn't like how they work. First, they charge a low price for unlock, and then they charge more because it's blacklisted and claim that a worldwide unlock is needed.
After I paid for worldwide unlock, both iPhones were really unlocked.
They should have a service to check if an iPhone is blacklisted as I order, so I don't waste time trying to order the regular unlock.
Was unable to unlock my phone. Since I needed to use a non att sim card to put in the unlock code. My phone was so old. I couldn't find a sim card that would fit. Even bought a cheap phone. Sim card still didn't fit.

Please don't fall for the false promises and trap. They specified $28.99 on the page and after that they asked for more money and couldn't unlock the phone. They are now asking for more money with which I can trade-in the phone and get a new phone.

Why can't I give this 0 stars? This website is a scam and now I have to fight with my bank for my money back! We paid the first fee, then paid the 2nd fee and after 33 days they tell us the phone is stolen? The phone is clean and is currently being unlocked by someone else with zero issues. This is a scam! Please do not even attempt to go to this website

I do understand that theywere not able to unlock my phone, but i don't understand why they feel it is their right to keep my money. First of all they advertise a certain amount to unlock ($28.99), but then you come back and say that amount is to check. Then they charge even more ($45.00) (in my opinion Bait and switch). Then if it doesn't work, they say "you have a credit on our site" this is BS. I want my money back. I wouldn't have had to come to this site if the carrier would have unlocked it for me, and all they are doing is going to the carrier anyway. DirectUnlocks is a rip off.

I hardly leave reviews. They also don't tell you that the first charge is not the only charge. In total I have spent $50 to unlock this phone that has NOT been unlocked and they will not refund me. Ordered what I thought was an unlock code. Turns out in the fine print I was only buying a 'preorder' for a code. They then have the cheek to demand MORE money for the code. AVOID and just go to the eBay sellers instead.
Customer service is terrible. They reply with obvious template messages and don't read what you send them. They refused my refund so I will be initiating a chargeback with my bank.
UPDATE: According to their payment provider, Nochex, they have to pay a fee if a chargeback is initiated from your bank. EVERYBODY SHOULD DO THIS. Make them pay & get your refund. Win-win.

I think the price which been charged is too high by waiting around month, I was paying bills and everything was fine, even though Iphone official ask me to prioritised as soon as possible by paying £51 otherwise £50 which I paid before won't be refunded as they did their work so I had no choice than paying more £51. So I did and I got an email confirming my mob. Is unlock on 11th may, I paid 1st money for unlock on 13th April and mobile was unlocked on 11th May.

This is a total scam. I ordered a iCloud Unlock Activation Removal for 19.99 euros. I was charged 30 US Dollars. I knew that there was going to be some difference in the currency change because I live in the US. But it was only supposed to be $22.70. Then, I didn't even receive my Unlock only the "pre-order". I would have to pay another 30 buck to unlock my phone and even then I wouldnt know if they would actually unlock it. I didnt pay the 30 buck and do not recommend this site!

I've requested their services on May 8th about unlocking an iphone 4s.
First they've asked me for £19.99. After for more £30, and know they state that the iphone is blocked and are asking me for £109 as the phone is not block neither has been given as stolen, as I already checked with the network.
I've been trying to send emails to them, even attaching the phone invoice, as a proof as the phone has not been stolen, and after a week, I'm still waiting a answer from them.
Kept well informed all along how it was progressing. A slight delay caused by the large numbers of new iPhone 6s users wanting them unlocked but overall an excellent service with above average communication on progress.
Paid 20gbp to unlock my iPhone only to be told that instead of a few days it would take a month and that I needed to upgrade to express service to get my request processed in the next few days. Express service is an extra 40gbp. Paid it and the phone was unlocked days later, but at a cost three times as much as what I originally expected.
First class had problems with vodaphone they didn't recognise imei code so couldn't unlock that took 3weeks. Contacted official iPhone unlock gave imei code 3days later as stated hey presto my phone was unlocked. I highly recommend this company I certainly will use in future and inform all my friends. Paid in May to get grand daughters iPhone unlocked. Was told that her phone was blacklisted and they couldn't do it. Paid for a search which clearly showed the phone wasn't blacklisted. Emailed and asked what was going on. Was told a premium service was coming in and the iPhone would be unlocked automatically - not holding my breath but phone still not working. An absolute CON.
