We're sorry for the short delay in unlocking your device. We have chased the vendor who provides O2 UK unlocks and they replied that there is a small backlog, but rest assured that your IMEI is in progress. Soon we'll email you with another update. Thanks for your patience.

Please note that the timelines quoted on our site when buying are only average times and for guidance, sometimes unlocks can go over the set deadline.

I have my boyfriend an iPhone 6 that he took back to his home in Canada. For some reason ATT was being difficult so getting it unlocked through them didn't work. Then I tried "chronicunlocks". After waiting 3 weeks (when it promised 24-48hrs) with NO explanation and also a shady PR rep named "Will," I disputed the charge on my paypal account because they don't offer refunds for jobs they don't do.
Then I tried iphoneimei.net. I was a little sketchy since it was half the price than the other website (which was $89). First, I got a confirmation email which I appreciated. Then I was able to check the progress. It has "% done" which was SO awesome to be able to see that something was actually happening. It said it would take 24-48 hrs. It took 29 hrs. I am SO happy to finally find a website that follows through on what they promise. Thank you!

My phone iPhone 6 was locked to Vodapfone and after paying £60 to unlock it had to wait 10 days to be unlocked, it's still not unlocked. Comes up with a message " no sim" I have followed all the steps they said but still not working. I will not get my money back and it's been a Waste time and money.

Im very dissapointed with the service of this company service. Although its website says unlock for vodafone can take between 48-72 hours, I had to wait 41 days for my unlock. During these 41 days I received many confusing and different emails asking me to pay more money.
I definitely wont be using this company to unlock any of my other phones.

I was not clearly informed of the requirement for an additional payment other than the one I already made to unlock my phone.

Overdue - this unlock is taking a little longer than normal, we are chasing this IMEI for you and have prioritised it. We will email you and update your status accordingly when it is unlocked.~

After:

Hi, Unfortunately as per our terms and conditions, handsets which do not meet the unlocking criteria are ineligible for a card refund. You have been refunded with a credit note to use against the premium service when it returns, or alternatively you can use it for a friend or family member who needs to unlock a different handset.
However, if you can send proof the device is not lost/stolen e.g. the original invoice from Apple or your carrier, either electronic or physical then we can get our money back from the supplier and refund you.

This is a android phone, not apple...

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! They are just SCAMMERS!

I paid £20, then had to pay another £20, which isn't mentioned. Then paid £10 for fast track. It took 6 days to receive a code. In this time I sent 2 emails. I waited 48 hours for a reply to my first and never got a reply to my 2nd. Poor communication, price is ridiculous. If I knew there was a 2nd charge I'd have gone to a phone shop which would have been half the price. It doesn't tell you until asking for the 2nd payment that the first is not refundable.

Wish I could give them 0 stars. They charge you 28 dollars and then another 42 dollars. I paid both of these and then they said I needed to get premium service to unlock for 230$ and offered no refund. Scammers

The check out process was fine, and the product worked perfectly. The only thing I had trouble with was knowing how the product would be delivered. I may have missed it on the site, but I did not see that the codes would be sent in an email.

After paying what they initially asked for they kept asking for more money... Ended up paying $97 and they finally said they cannot unlock the phone and they cannot refund my money, instead these people offer me a credit to unlock other phones. Wrote two emails (*******@directunlocks.com) never answered. These people are internet Scammers and shout be reported.

Large and bold print at checkout $19.99 to unlock an old iPhone 6s. Small and grayed out font underneath reads in a long sentence that a second payment of $105 due to complete process. Not upfront and not an honest business practice. Advertise and market your total price upfront and cut out the sleazy business practices. They also censor there reviews on sites to limit negative exposure.

I have softbank locked iPhone 6. I paid full money to unlock it. They did not unlock my mobile yet.

Online order status is showing the message "19 Sep 2016 19:00:17 - Monday 19th September 12:41 - IMEI submitted to unlock server"

If we mail customer care nobody is responding. They did not refund money also.

You must make a payment in advance in order to actually get "serviced". I paid for the Initial fee and then there was another one that they did not mention, or that I was not aware of. So then, I tried to refund afer I had been made aware, but uh oh, transation has already gone through and nnd now I'm down 39$, Thanks.

Do not use their website! http://www.officialiphoneunlock.co.uk is a scam! I can confirm it! I have been scamed like all the others. They are very active on the internet by writing positive fake reviews and reporting negative ones!
You pay for the service and then they ask for more money and then just disapear, state, that the iphone is blacklisted or something

I told a friend to use this company and low and behold what a bunch of scammers, listing the payment process as pre-payment does not indicate you have to pay another chunk of money, I wouldn't advise anyone to use this company ever, over 50 pounds to unlock an old iphone and they use a dodgy credit company that offers no support whatsoever, please please do not use this company. Major mistake.

I shopped around before choosing OfficialiPhoneUnlock and I certainly wasn't disappointed. They sent me regularly status update on my iphone which gave me peace of mind. Even when the network operator had a backlog, they owned the delay and did not try to fob me off. The unlocking fee was money well spent and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Yes it was so easy for us and it made it even better when you got the right people in your team and the people you love to be with and you were so good to us all you got is a lot more than what we had

Wasn't that confident that they would permanently unlock my iphone4 so very pleasantly surprised that they did slightly over the max 48 hours but very acceptable time frame. A lot cheaper than buying a new iPhone 4. Many thanks will use you again.

They did it again and unlocked my husband's phone! Thanks again for helping and doing exactly what you said you would. This take time and a bit of money but worth it

The original price stated at payment is NOT the final price you will be charged.
The pre order price of 19.99 does not include the 80.00£ to release the unlock code.
Read the small print first almost hidden at the bottom of the page. It's not clear or obvious when doing the transaction.
They will not refund either.

If it is possible to rate a -0 I would, directunlocks have 3 different site all different names. I tried to unlock my iPhone 11 Pro as I ordered the unlock code it never said anything about pre -order after I paid for the code I received an email saying thanks for your pre-order. Not once did it say pre order on there website on directunlocks

They are a third party with a website, say something but doing something else, take your money and never refund it, protecting themselves with a terms and condition.
Hundreds of innocent everyday, some fight for there money and some other not, they take from you to refund the other and so on

I looked around for a site to unlock my iPhone 6s and upon reading reviews chose this site. The price seemed steep, but as there are a lot of scam websites so the price was worth paying for a reliable service. It took 7 days (5 working) to unlock and I was kept informed by updates every 2-3 days and it was unlocked with no issue. I would recommend this site for a reliable unlocking service.
