Friend suggested this website to me, payed the first instalment that took a week then i got charged twice for the same instalment, which then took another 2 weeks for company to realise they have made a mistake and after that took another week for my phone to be unlocked. Will not be using this company ever again!

1 Month Gone Still my iPhone X no unlocked.

I suggest all of you to Don't Go with Direct Unlocks. They are Fraud company. Steal Your Money. They steal my 52 USD (20 USD + 32 USD)

Also, don't prefer 2-3-4-5 Rating Reviews, these all are written by them to mislead peoples.

No one can respond from customer support. Also no one replying from *******@directunlocks email.

Every time fake reply.

This is fake website, *******@directunlocks why you are doing like this?

I paid for the service with initial fee only to receive email they need additional fee which I paid, it has been near two month and no unlock for my iphone and the only way to communicate is via email and they just respond with % of completion and no results. Still after 2 months nothing.

First, they take your money and then tell you the phone can't be unlocked.
Second, they tell you there are numerous services (FREE) which can be used to identify Lost/Stolen handsets, after they have taken your money. Scammers

Normal service didn't open my phone but then I got the premium one and they have me a discount because of the price. Eventually they got it unlocked within a few days after paying fir the premium service

I worried that this was a bad deal, but I took a chance and went for it. I found them by Google and was not disappointed. It took a couple days but they were able to come through with the unlock code to get my phone off the network even if it wasn't paid for completely.

This review was posted in Directunlock.com on 10/14/2023. Read the fine print before authorizing payment. This service is a two payment scheme. The first payment is to determine eligibility for unlocking. The second payment is significantly more to do the actual unlocking. Buyer beware. Read the fine print before giving authorization of payment. I was able to activate the card on my own by allowing the phone to use a 2G network. I will be very surprised if this review will be accessible on Directunlock.com.

I am happy because i have my iphone 5s unlocked. At first, i was a bit skeptical because i have used other websites which make promises but end up collecting your money with no result. I stumbled upon this website and gave a try and now i will recommend anyone this site. I actually loved the detailed feedback via email. Thanks Guys! YiPPEEE

I requested my 2 year cell old be unlocked for my daughter. I've been with the cell carrier for 3 years. I also bought the cell from the same carrier.
DirectUnlocks cost me money, but they unlocked my phone in 38 hours.
I just got the following answer from my carrier:
When you have paid for your device and when the service on your mobile number has been active more than 60 days.
It took my carrier 7 days for that wrong answer.

I read the instructions and was led to believe that if I paid the 28.00 I would be getting my phone unlocked. Boy was that not the case. The 28.00 is just to verify that the phone is eligible to be unlocked. After the phone was verified I was asked to pay another 69.00 to get the codes. It was easy to use the site, they just really need to be up front about the total cost and not smack the customer with a " not spoken of " necessary fee. Borderline con man stuff. I called my former service provider and got the codes for free.

Until now the unblock been working, thanks. Still working, but you need to put the complete price of the unlocks devices, it's a little expensive but it works. The publicity on internet works very good.

So decided to switch phone company EE to Vodafone, gets it all sorted, boom the phone is locked, across to EE as I assumed the law had changed, oh yes go to this website to unlock phone, pay 26 pounds whish was the first surprise, half way thru oh another 23.99 to pay, absolute con, go to a hight street shop, don't get ripped off by these charlatans

They say you "may" be charged additional fees "under certain contract situations".
SURPRISE! You will absolutely be charged an additional $120 or so if you want the unlock... after you've already paid an upfront fee.

Paid to have 2 different phones unlocked and was told after Paying 2 times (scam) it's not just $28, that just so they can demand another $50...then it suddenly requires a specialist to unlock for $256!
So obviously they are not specialist and just taking your money to refer you to an actual one! DON'T USE DIRECT UNLOCKS!

They are a scam! (Now) - After using them to unlock my iPhone 5 two years ago very successfully I tried them again for my iPhone 6. That was in October 2014, they sent me an email saying that they couldn't unlock my phone because it was in contract but if I paid another £60 then I could use the worldwide unlock. If you click on the worldwide unlock there is no service offered for iPhone 6 anywhere. They still have my original £50 and waiting for 4 months. So to some up they worked for me two years ago, but this time they have scammed me good!

Double fees, first fee to tell you if you phone can be unlocked... Duh. Then a fee to unlock.

Then a useless progress bar telling you the status of your unlock, then a status of imminent, but taking longer, chasing IMEI.

DON'T DO IT!

Luckily my credit card refunded me.

A complete scam which I was victim of. They lure you in with a relatively cheap price. Once you've paid that, they tell you you need a premium service and get you to pay more money for that. Then they told me my phone was listed was reported as lost/stolen with Apple and I'll need to pay more money to get it unlocked. At this point I checked the phone's imei number against several sites that allow you to check to see if the imei is blocked or disabled by Apple and, lo and behold, it wasn't. Now they don't reposed to my requests for a full refund so unless you want to through your money away, avoid this service

When I originally placed the order it stated to take between 5 and 10 days but within 5 hours I had an email confirming that the unlock had been done and also how to finish off the unlock process. It was all easy and simple.

They told me to send money. Yes I did send them the amount they said. Then they started making some stories up and ended up making me send another chunk of money. After the second transfer, they disappeared. Asking for refunding, no reply.

This place is a joke they tell you your phone can be unlocked to get you to pay the first fee...then they say oh there's another fee to release the codes...paid that...then they say oh codes don't work pay $270 more to get a technician...DO NOT USE!...they won't give a refund either check the real Bbb score and see for yourself

Paid a fee to unlock a router then they requested a further fee to release the unlock code which was paid. The code did nothing, I contacted Direct Locks via email twice and no reply. I therefore conclude that this is a scam site taking money under false pretences.
They subsequently emailed me to put a review on Trust pilot, which I did and it was critical. I was emailed and offered my money back only if I removed the critical review I did not remove it as I should not need to be forced to do this and also I hope it would save others from falling into this trap.

Phone was unlocked perfectly fine, however not in the time frame stated on the website. I was in no rush but it took nearly 3 times as long as they implied it would which couldve been problematic in some cases

I want a full refund for your misleading promise to icloud unlock this phone; not once but twice! First time I was mislead to think it would get unlocked, then you added an even higher fee which I paid again. I want a Full Refund back to my credit card or I will report you to all review sites and my credit card company. Please refund my money asap!

So. Your just going to mislead people like that? I was to tell people about your services and you would of made way more money than keeping mine.
