I ordered a bellissima hair dryer from these cowboys. It was advertised as new in the box. When it arrived the box was soft and sticky inside the outer packaging. And when I got the hair dryer out I immediately noticed it stunk of hair gel! I then noticed it was cracked on the casing in 3 places, had hair product flicked all over it and inside it and the filter end was absolutely clogged with debris dust and hair! I took several pictures and sent it to the seller. Absolutely revolting state and it made my stomach churn the thought of using a used hair dryer that was advertised as new! I plugged it in and switched it on to see what happened and it immediately started emitting a burning smell! I had bought from them as it stated next day delivery. It was a Friday I ordered and I was due to leave for France Monday morning, I'm disabled and needed something for when I'm in France. I'm set to to be in France for up to 3 months. I told this clearly to direct vacuums, and they kept changing the person who responded to me and infuriatingly not reading or listening to the fact that the hair dryer is at my home address, the box is in the recycling bin because it had pretty much fallen apart on arrival and I am IN FRANCE.
Also because of disabilities I cannot get to a post office and I have hospital appointments every morning and am not back til near 1pm. I have sought advice from trading standards and The Consumer Rights Act 2015 outlines the rights of consumers when buying goods or services, ensuring they receive goods of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as DESCRIBED. The Sellers have a legal duty to ensure that the goods or services they provide meet these standards. And if they don't the seller has a legal duty to put it right at THEIR OWN COST AND INCONVENIENCE NOT MINE! The seller firstly refused to send me a returns label and refused to send a courier. Then they agreed but the next person who responded to me when backwards on this! I had to re explain my disability and my France and hospital situation THREE more times! They then asked if someone can get the hair dryer and send it to them! Clearly have half wits working at this company since I already said it's at my home and I won't be back for 3 months! So how can anybody get that? Just before I left I had to order one from Argos and pay an Uber to collect it so I'm out of pocket at over twice the price now. Now the seller has gone back to ignoring what I keep repeating and said in 3 months time when back they'll send a courier between 9 and 5pm!?! I have told them til I'm blue in the face I am at appointments every morning til 1pm! They also state it needs to be in the original box which I don't have because it was utterly disgusting, damp and fell apart. The stress these absolute jokers are causing me is unreal. Disgusting people. They should be profusely apologising for the vile state this item arrived in! It's used to death. It's not safe and I feel it could catch fire if used.
