The company faces significant reputational challenges, primarily due to pervasive issues with delivery reliability and customer service. Customers frequently report delays, lost packages, and inadequate communication regarding their orders. Many express frustration with the lack of accountability and responsiveness from customer support, which often fails to provide satisfactory resolutions. While there are occasional mentions of successful deliveries, the overwhelming sentiment leans towards dissatisfaction, highlighting a consistent pattern of service failures. To improve its reputation, the company must address these operational shortcomings and enhance its customer service approach to rebuild trust and satisfaction.

The driver parked in my drive way blocking it. He sped away in a huff, how dare I come home while he is doing deliveries (I was willing to wait for him to finish actually). He sped back and when he parked I told him thanks for moving. Completely ignoring me. I told him thanks again and he ignored me again. He followed me to the front of my gate and I told him the package is probably mine, he said "what" irritably. I repeated myself, he scoffed and handed me the package, I said "thanks" he took a picture and rushed off with an audible "ugh" and eye roll. If you hate your job, quit the job my guy.
I was waiting for a pre 12 delivery, whilst sitting at home waiting for delivery I got a notification to advise my delivery would be attempted again tomorrow as I was not at home? I was definitely at home and have clear view of my drive so I know this driver never attempted this delivery
I called Healthxchange pharmacy to complain, and about 3 hours later a manager called me from Dpd, I explained that no one had attempted a delivery, and I was really unimpressed with their service
This is actually not the first time I have experienced this type of behavior from Dpd, considering that they are delivering cold chain medication I would expect a much better service
Delivery actually arrived at 2:18 pm, after I had to cancel my patients booked in for medical treatments at my expense
Beware of what appears about DPD on trustpilot! Thy repeatedly delete negative reviews of DPD! Fakery in all its glory.
This is an abysmal company that systematically fails to deliver or collect (on more than one occasion in our location), whilst our reviews on un-trustpilot are being deleted.
If only they would spend that effort on doing the job rather than chasing their complaining customers trying to silence them.

DPD drivers' name:Shaun
He didn't even call me so that I could go downstairs.I saw him through the window and quickly went down only to see there was no sign of a van.He came here for a couple of seconds just to leave me a message''Sorry we missed you''
Shaun you disgusting liar!
DPD Who do you employ!?
No respect!No nothing!
Zero stars.
Can't sign in to app. App asks for email address then sends you verification email. Verification email takes you to website and does not provide you with access to the app. There is no place to type in my password in the app so cannot log in. I can only enter my email address and then the app sends me a useless email link.
Well, where to start…… As I live in a flat at 9 level high property, I know that parcel delivery can be sometimes complicated. That is why I providing all possible information / accurate address, flat number, mobile phone contact number/make it smoother and easier for delivery drivers.
And here is my point – delivery driver arriving to my place, use intercom at default closed entrance door to contact my flat, I am opening door to invite him in or going to entrance to collect parcel on my own. In the case nobody answering the intercom ringing, I am expecting a driver to use my phone number and call me if I am in. That is why I am paying for delivery service.
But……this one is too much for DPD. They failed to deliver the same parcel to me twice.
I was home but not parcel delivered, just only notice at tracking screen, sorry our driver could not delivery your parcel, please contact us to re-arrange your delivery for another day.
I simply could not understand how this can happen…. I am home, waiting for it, have phone next to me, if something wrong. But nothing, happened, not delivery today again.
So DPD customer service simply wrote me on online chat that I should not expect driver use door bell, and call me as they have only their private phones and cannot reveal their numbers. Then they asked if I seen a picture taken by driver -closed door to the property.
Is that real? So this delivery service is really useless at this point.
What is the end of this? I was ordering a winter jacket with promise of quick delivery. Now is the 10th day since I bought it and still don't have it in my possession.
So please think twice if you will order something online and only delivery option will be DPD.
It can be run on long distance…..
I would leave no stars for this one if I could. DPD got my order all the way to the delivery address without anyone noticing that there was no tracking number. The delivery address had to refuse it. That means I wasted money on next-day delivery. It didn't stop them sending me a shot of the driver pretending to give the parcel to the delivery address and didn't stop them lying about delivery. The complaints number is a premium number. I would be charged for making a complaint, and there's nothing to tell me how much they would charge.
Absolute waste of space say delivery on a certain day and time. Never ring the door bell never knock the door take picturecof the house says redilivery next day same happens. Then end up colkecting from shop over a mile away.
The worst courier company I've ever experienced, if you are using for business I strongly recommend to avoid like a disease as they WILL effect your customer experience. There is no support and the biggest problem is their drivers, a complete lack of care. I understand we all make mistakes and companies do too, that's fine, that's why we have support. When something does go wrong you are completely left alone in most cases absorbing the loss of package to re send. I've gone back to Royal Mail UK and FedEx for international. As you can probably tell, extremely unhappy. I will never touch DPD again.
Don't ever use them, don't ever suggest them, manager can't speak to you, only after 2 hours, what's the point? He's still in my town but after 2 hours he's gonna be on a plane back to poesbekistan for all I know, drivers can't follow instructions, firstly didn't even come the first day, my lord, I'm beyond words...
Both my orders at Matras.direct.nl webshop were delivered rapidly free of charge, in a great condition by a kind, polite courier on December 8 and December 9,2023.
Ordered coolgel top mattresses Blue Magic in sizes 120x200 and 90x200 and 2 molton waterproof fitted sheets for protection of the new mattresses. Delivery status could be checked via track & trace provided by seller Matras Direct. Great job!
I would give -5 stars if possible.
Last 5 dpd attempts to deliver were miss-deliveries, where the driver is in another vilage, takes a random house picture and says" we're sorry we've missed you". Today's story, after they failed to deliver yesterday, on a paid "Next day delivery" order, goes like this: same driver that failed to deliver my parcel yesterday, called me at the end of my time slot, and says " my gps took me to another street, what's your postcode? " After i gave him my postcode, he says he'll be there in 10 minutes. After 2 hours, and 7 unanswered calles, he calles me back and says he will deliver my parcel tomorrow, because he is in another village and will not go back. What.the.f?
I live on the high street, impossible for my address not to be indexed by google maps.
Drivers apparently not willing to deliver to house if it is on a road no one else has a delivery on, so instead will try to deliver to the pharmacy my mum works at, or will just skip the delivery if they (rightfully) don't accept the parcel, delaying the arrival of my orders needlessly. This is in Lochaber, the Scottish Highlands, and the drivers just seem to be notoriously awful if asked to deliver to anyone outside of Fort William or the main villages, despite that being a lot of people. Pain in the arse, and I'm always fretful when online shops say their deliveries are by couriers like DPD, because unlike the Royal Mail, you just never know if they'll be bothered to actually do their job and deliver.
Company opened my package and stole a 500$ item. Faked my signature. Do not sent packages with this company! It's a scam!
More often than not with signed for parcels, they fail to deliver by either ringing the doorbell and waiting for 6 seconds before dashing off, or not coming at all. And either way, their system will say "sorry we missed you" and their line will be nobody was available to sign for the parcel. Then their customer service team gaslight you when you complain, because the whole thing is set up to appeal to parcel senders whilst not caring at all about the experience of end-recipients. Your only option as an end recipient is to choose not to do business with companies that deliver via DPD, and to let companies know that is your position.
On Monday I book a door to door service, on Tuesday the driver Ranbeer cancel the collection half an hour prior to the time frame Your collection number: 1992 098 233 2.
I rebook for Wednesday, on that day the driver Ranbeer again didn't collect the parcel Your collection number: 1992 101 382 4, when is totally visible on a safe place, I have pictures of that. I contact with the customer service and they are totally unhelpful, even they are very difficult to understand, they just said Rebook the collection, I did yesterday and I want that someone collect my parcel
This time the driver didn't even stop, I watched him drive straight past. Last time my parcel went to a random address somewhere
If I could rate my experience below one star I would most certainly do. My parcel was due today, with its content being of more than 1,000 pounds worth. Wish I could say it was lost, but it was signed and received by a stranger named 'J' in the other side of London, more specifically the DPD depot in Barking which looks quite peculiar to me (even though the customer service reassured me on the phone that it was mistakenly delivered to a 'neighbouring address by mistake'). The picture attached as proof of delivery by the driver 'Abdelkader' was entirely blurry showing no context whatsoever. DPD has been quite unhelpful to say the least. That is why I raised an official investigation to be conducted that will be looking into both dpd and the driver. Even though I am quite confident that the issue will be resolved, this is only because it is no longer in dpd's hands. The outrage and the inconvenience I experienced today is inconceivable. And on top of that I received neither an answer nor an apology...
The package was absolutely fine and it was full of wine and dine glasses. They arrived without even a mark, good.
