I have a lot of friend's on emerald it's very fun when you meet somebody that's nice until you meet somebody who is jacking off on camera or want's to have fun because their horny and if you say no they skip you and downvote you it's a waste of time i hate people like that and their are a lot or scammer's, troll's, and catfish's i got a boy friend and he turned out to be a catfish bc i asked for another pic and he hesitated and he unadded me 5 times for no reason than he left me because i said he was a catfish so yeah.

You get banned for measly little pecks downvoting you. First, an hour. Then, twenty four hours... THEN... A $#*!ING YEAR OR "PERMANENTLY BANNED" as the $#*!ing $#*!s call it just because a bunch of $#*!s with $#*!s for brains get you banned. -_- Because the $#*!ed site owners want to milk you for cash instead of $#*!ing running ads like a proper website... Because every $#*!ing person on there downvotes if you aren't who they are looking for... They have a $#*!ing server which is $#*!ing useles! They don't want to run ads because they're the kind of $#*!s that are just like the downvotes in that they all need to be rounded up and dumped on a deserted island with no communication and no food... -_- Stay away from this God damned trash heap!

Spamming, idiot guys that get you banned, and not really worth your time otherwise... Pervs and racist, offensive morons. I have more than one picture this time as evidence...

The "meet people" or whatever random chat is a abyss full of asinine guys who will "bad karma" you just for leaving after they post "M." I had one guy add me just because I did this just because I was getting fed up with it... And he sent me a message just to say "$#*! you..." then removed me. If you get banned at the point I'm at, you're account is banned "for about a year" or until you $#*!ing pay them $5 to reset your karma. -_- I legit believe the people that run the site do this themselves just to make you pay to get back online.

It has spammers all over just like other websites, and the admins and miss clearly don't care. I honestly believe that they are getting paid to allow them on the website.

They also had their Reddit thing archived, which was used for their support... Instead of a proper page on the website... Further proof it's all a giant hoax and lie... They just want to try and force you to pay in order to no longer be banned... I went from -21 karma to -46 roughly just because guys kept getting pissy I wasn't a girl... -_- AND PEOPLE WHO RUN THE WEBSITE TRYING TO GET MONEY OUT IF ME!

I won't even go into the more messed up things I've come across...

Can we get this website shut down please? Seriously, I want that that to happen... They need to learn that you can't just ban people to get money so they can get back on... And you only ban them for people downvoting them... But the spammers and such can easily just pay 5$ to do this and keep harassing users. Can you legit report them? No. Especially with their Reddit page archived so you can't contact them at all at this point... This is all kinds of wrong. Basically you could pay to get unbanned, your money is sent and then your still banned... And you can't contact them... See what's wrong here?

Update bit: Please, email these to their support email, to Google or whoever to have their website removed from search results and even to banks to deny payments to this website... Please...: I I'm getting tired if this... Help?

New screen capture of the reply to the last email I sent. What these foreign idiots fail to understand is that the people using a platform are reflective OF said platform. This moron was being blatantly racist in the most vulgar manner and they didn't want to do anything about it. That is reflective of THEIR character. They are racist and vulgar and support racists in their endeavors. I noticed AFTER that email it went from a 1 star to a 2... They came on here to try covering up the negative look if their pathetic, racism supporting website... Enough said.

So I get back on and guess what?!?!?! Look bellow! Screen capture! THE IMMORAL, RACIST, SCREWED UP IN THE $#*!S HAVE PERMANENTLY BANNED ME! Oh but I could $#*!ing pay $5 to get unbanned! WHAT DO YOU KNOW! I COULD PAY TO GET BACK ON! HOW MUCH LOWER CAN IT GET?!?!?! A LOT! AND IT ALREADY HAS!... I honestly didn't think it would get this far. I just wanted a DECENT alternative to omegle and got this trashed dump of immoral depravity... I hate humanity at this point. All of this is triggering my bipolar disorder and I can't... I can't just make a new account... I've had enough... These stupid immoral morons need to catch corona, be told, "Well! You'll have it for about a year... Unless you pay me $$$$$$$$$$! EmeraldChat.com admins/mods are posting false reviews on here, trying to save face. You need to remove their false reviews... If they want money then they need to just run ads instead of banning the damn users that COULD be making them money! But chances are no one wants ads run on their website... Due to all of these negative problems. Point is, they're lying sacks of $#*! who should have the website taken down. Don't EVER give them any money to remove a ban because their admins/mods/goons will just get you banned again. And again. AND AGAIN!

These site peddles karma and try to get you to sign every few minutes. They actually pretend to care for postive chat but I supposedly got lot of karma and they banned me in few minutes of chatting and as attached picture shows, offered to unban me for 5 bucks. That is hilarious. The reason I got a lot of bad karma, was this guy I chatted who told me I am worthless $#*! because he saw black in my tag and told him to f* off, and he told me he will get me a lot of bad karma. Apparently there are worthless pigs who hand you over bad karma. Anyways, their sites are $#*!ty, full of horny teens, a bit clunky. The idea sounds good but run unprofessionally and broke $#*! desperate owners. Avoid!

Somehow there's even MORE horny people on THIS website. The karma system is awful (trolls can just give you negative karma and back out the second they join the conversation), plus if you go into group chat your profile can get hacked (the hacker can switch your profile picture, name, and info to whatever they want) which is a problem. Also, their filtering system for finding NSFW images is garbage. Seriously, I'm tired of the d*ck pics. If they could just find a WORKING FILTER and stop the hacking in group chats, maybe I'd think of the website better.

I was bored and randomly decided to check out this site to troll people, but it is really horrible. There are pedophiles rampant on the site and the owner does his own thing and does not moderate his site at all. There are pedophiles openly sharing CP on the site and there is no feature to report people, it is a cesspool and I wish the FBI knew about this site and all the sickos that use it.

It is no better than Omegle and oh if you get banned, they try to make you pay an un-ban fee of at least $5, which is not the way to go and this site is just a cash grab. That kind of system is super flawed and can be abused easily, the ban system is based off a karma system that gets heavily abused by the horny dudes and the predators. Moderation is absolutely terrible and innocent people get banned this way and exposed to the most horrifying things some sickos have to offer.

The security is also non-existent and there are constantly bots on all the chats and group chats spamming and getting into people's accounts and changing things like bios and usernames and profile pictures. This also proves my point, once again, about poor and lackluster moderation. This site is also a blatant ripoff of discord and they are just asking for a lawsuit at this point. This site needs to be shut down, it's not a good place at all. Poor security, lackluster moderation, overall horrible user experience. It is also super buggy and the site's coding seems to be below beginner level, leaving it open to all kinds of exploits.

OVERALL, DO NOT GO TO THIS SITE, STAY THE HELL AWAY, I AM HORRIFIED FROM THE THINGS I SAW AND HEARD ON THERE, THE OWNER DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE ILLEGAL ACTIVITY ON HIS SITE AND DOES NOTHING ABOUT THE SEXUAL PREDATORS AND PEDOPHILES.

This website is easily one of the most vile places on the clean web, despite the terms of service, it is rife with pedophiles and sexual degenerates in every corner of the site who will stop at nothing to contact you outside of emerald. This is only made worse by its complete absence of competent human moderators, bans are based on an arbitrary point system called "karma" and how quickly one leaves a conversation, which only benefits sexual degenerates leaving innocent users to be unfairly banned whilst others proudly display their genitals on the "hall of fame" for over a week with no harsh consequences.

The user experience itself is not much better, it is really buggy and connection to the servers is often inconsistent at best while some features of the websites such as private messages straight up do not function. I do not recommend this website to anyone especially minors.

Now batter services, Now Google has stopped message since updating everything is fine now.Use voice commands while navigating even when your device has no connection. Try saying "cancel my navigation" "what's my ETA?" or "what's my next turn?"

I wouldn't recommend purely because 90% of the people on there are men saying that they are horny. If you find a person from the other 10% then your lucky. If you are a guest, it asks you if you are a robot after every chat you have with a different person but if you have an account, it is less frequent. Another thing is the pictures. It says that their AI will filter out nudity or inappropriate pictures of their private parts, even females! ( I am a female by myself but don't send these pictures). This website is not true to their rules/ values so there was not point in creating them if I am being honest.

The website is just a website, the average Internet people you meet there suck... but that's beside the point.

I've used the website for about 3 years and here is my current evaluation.
Why do I keep using it? Lack of better alternatives...

The website has major issues, the server is unstable and slow at updating.
Connections are easily lost without you even knowing it.
You risk having to refresh the website several times just for chatting with friends.
The Karma system is a joke and worthless as it is easy to trick the system.
The website has no way of reporting people who violate the writen rules.
The server is often down for maintanence, about once a month and for hours at a time.
The overall conditions of the website have gone down sinse an update back in December 2017. It is better than Omegle... but only just barely...
