Emtek has a 5 year warranty on the finish. After 7 years 24 of 30 knobs in my home need to be replaced as the brass underneath is showing as the finish continues to fail. The remaining 6 knobs that have no finish issues are on rarely used guest room doors. Thousands of dollars in knobs wasted. Terrible product

I bought a shiny Emtek Digital Deadbolt model E3020 from Ganahl Lumber in Buena Park for about $400.00. Six months ago, after 2 1/2 year of service, the electronic stop working. Called Emtek, and they promptly replace the unit with "a new one". The new stopped working after 4 months. Called Emtek, they said the unit is not in warranty and I need to buy another deadbolt. The new unit was a returned unit and not a new one.
Did not want to waste my time anymore. Checked Temu. Com and find another digital deadbolt to my liking and fit perfectly in my door. Bought ARPHA Smart Lock for $26.00 plus tax and free shipping. SAVED ME FRUSTRATION DEALING With EMTEK AND SAVED $370.00

Purchased an Emtek front door lock from my local hardware store. When it arrived the installer came to put it in, however, he was having problems getting it to fit. He took the two latches back to the hardware store and when measured saw that Emtek had sent the wrong size. The order was correct, but they shipped a smaller size than requested.
Since it was 100% Emteks fault I requested compensation for the extra expense I would incur for the installers extra visits and time. The customer service dept merely sent me warranty information and denied my request. This had nothing to do with the warranty. It was their obvious mistake for which they did not take responsibility. This is an untrustworthy company and I would never purchase their products again.
