Ive had mine 3 months now. No sleep mode, every time I use it I have to rest the sound.
Many features but it won't hold its memory. So now I sit in care waiting for it to start up then wait for the music to start, then I have to go into the sound settings.
Now I can reverse out the parking space. The reverse camera is Amazing it really is, the picture is amazing even in the dark. The camera is ace.
OK I'm now getting that fed up with it, I'm wondering if it has a battery inside that needs replacing like on a computer. ( even though it has a memory wire to the battery)
It's nots very good at all in the sound software a complete fail. The unit I have not found any other problems. ( but I only really only listen to the sd card)
Purchased a head unit that they guaranteed would fit a 2006 Audi S4. When received, it did fit in the dash, but the wiring harness did not fit (it was not the same size clip harness). I contacted them and they put me off for several days, then finally said "nope, it won't work"... they offered to return (at MY shipping expense) but said it "may be better to sell the unit locally". Really?
I was out of town and replied a few weeks later. They then explained that we were outside of the return window (a very short 30 days). Even though they knew it wouldn't work well within the 30 day period.
I am currently working on a chargeback thru my card.
Their correspondence was unprofessional and unhelpful. Their 30 da return policy is a joke. And they even expect you to cover return shipping on a product that they promise would fit, but doesn't fit.
It's all false advertising. There is actually no Apple carplay, no wireless or even wired haha. It's all such a joke. It takes about 5-10 mins to go through this mirroring application that requires you to setup your Hotspot for every time you turn it on hahaha. It's so bad. If you want to be late and annoyed from getting to A to B then buy this stupid product.
Now I'm emailing them trying to get a refund and they're stalling as longest they can so the 2 month warranty lapses. What a bunch of pricks hahahaa. Avoid them, do not make the same mistake I did. Avoid these lying pricks hahaha.
I swear the money seems to come from the customer service peoples own paycheck the way they fight you on everything. Their own warranty page says you can return the item within 60 days and they'll pay the return shipping...GOOD LUCK! So far they've asked me to make a video of the installation(which will show what? A non-working radio?), to me it seems that they'll use any video as evidence against me rather than to try and help get the thing working.
Their 'chat' messenger isn't chat at all, it just sends what you've typed into thin air, their support E mail address is similar. Their Facebook page isn't much better, they just repeat the company line of 'send us a video'. There's no installation manual and if you read the fine print they strongly suggest having a professional install their product so yeah...the 'ease of installation' feature they tout kinda goes out the window.
If you have a BMW you're further crippled because of the fiber optic system used and integrated into many of the systems in the car. I've read but not heard that the BMW system thats in the car originally sounds SO much better than this Eonon unit.
There are many reviews out there about this stuff, most have complaints about the item being buggy, slow, forgets settings and drops calls etc.
You've been warned.
I purchased a EONON head unit and had it installed in my BMW F30 and for the last two years I've tried to get it to function correctly…I'm now having it removed…the unit will not save any settings, in particular the time and date…it crashes on a regular basis requiring a restart especially when using apple CarPlay via the usb dongle the memory card slot has dropped inside the unit and swallowed up 3 memory cards, the touch screen freezes. The factory settings menu has changed it's self partially to Chinese the split screen function doesn't work…the Bluetooth keeps dropping out and the list goes on and on…if anyone is thinking about purchasing one of these after market head units. The do not buy one of these
They won't onor their warranty, I've told them that the stereo stoped working and after 8 months they have said that I can send it back to them in China but at my own cost and I will be resposable if something will happend to it. DON'T BUY FROM THEM! POOR EQUIPMENT AND NO SUPPORT
Product was great. This company works solely through email. No support and return policy is a joke! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS WEBSITE OR COMPANY!

Answer: They are a livid company with a bad to no customer service. You can never get a hold of them by phone. They respond to you by email only and when they do, you mind as well forget about all previous emails because they suggest something that you tried few emails ago. Either they are real stupid or lack the understanding of the English language.
