ABSOLUTELY love love love this website. The obvious reason for me loving it must be my art teacher side but who doesnt like homemade things. I usually shop through the jewelry but its great to support an artist whos selling their own stuff. It can be original or just super cute and you gotta have it! Some of the stuff can be pricey (because it is homemade) but thats when you just admire it from the computer and walk away.

I am a seller and buyer on Etsy. I have never encountered any problems with sellers, and my customers are amazing.
I think to succeed you must invest time in your pictures for your previews, tags and titles for your items.
I can't emphasize that your preview pictures must be amazing. Please don't let one bad experience keep you away from Etsy. There are truly one of a kind items that you will only find from Etsy sellers.
The listing and selling fees are extremely affordable, and you are not locked into any long term contracts.

I first found etsy when I went looking for supplies. I loved what was being offered such as charms, fimo, prints. Some shops were out of my price range but many were just right for my budget.

I am now a seller on etsy and direct many buyers to various shops I would have to say my favorite category is vintage collectibles as it just brings up happy memories.

I've been a seller on Etsy for a number of years, and I also really appreciate being able to shop on Etsy and find and support amazing makers!
The space is co-created and consumer driven, but sadly anyone can open a shop, therefore please do your due diligence and look over each individual shop to get a feel for whether or not it is a true artist and not a manufactured sham. If it's a manufactured sham, please report it to help maintain the integrity of the site. If you have an issue with your order, try resolving it with the seller, and if that doesn't work, there's great customer service to help you navigate the issue.
Here are some tips before purchasing:
-Read over some reviews in each shop!
-Check their Social Media, Do you see photos of them actually making what they sell?
-Read their "About" section. If there's no About section, then that might be a red-flag. (Makers and artists generally enjoy sharing some part of their process)

I've never had any problems with Etsy. Now, you have to remember that people of all ages can have a shop. I've never experienced any sort of problem and I've been using the site for years. Like other popular sites like EBay, your experience depends on the seller. Check reviews on their shop before you shop!

I was a little skeptical of the time frame and wondered if it would arrive in time for my daughter's birthday. She loved the shirt as well as the one I got for myself. My customers have asked and now I can give them what they are looking for. Will be ordering more in the future.

I ordered several items through Etsy and I am so happy! You need to read the reviews though per shop before ordening. That is very essential. But it is wonderful that small handwork shops can open a shop there. Unique items!

I have been shopping on Etsy for years and have purchased hundreds of items. I am rarely disappointed. The creativity of the US artists amaze me and the products are quality made. I do stay away from overseas shops as Etsy has little control over mass produced items.

I like it overall. Nice place to hang around and enjoy all those creativity there. When they started allowing vintage, I was a bit disappointed, as I prefer all handmade goodies. But it has nice tools and large variety.

Etsy has everything and everything you could ever need. Their sellers are very polite, and get back to you as soon as you need them to. They have the greatest items for gifts, decor, outfits, absolutely EVERYTHING! :) I would recommend Etsy to anyone and everyone. There are so many original pieces of work out there to purchase, I can't believe that this website isn't more popular!

I love this site. Everything I order is well made and looks amazing. I have ordered everything from handmade cards to clothes to coffee mugs to jewelry. I am kept up to date on the things I order and if I want to change something last minute I never have a problem. I also make a lot of custom orders that come out exactly the way I want. I can't get enough of this site and its vendors.

Wonderful down home experience time after time. Etsy people are honest and from my experience professional and fast shipping. 5 stars on communication as well. I will never go to eBay again after finding Etsy

It's safe to use (paypal), it lets you search by genre or by typing- but, you know, people will still overprice their items. Yet you can send them a message- most of them will let you haggle a little bit!

I don't really care much for the handcrafted jewelry-- but the woodworking is really good work. For anyone who is into carving and solid wood furniture they seem to have a nice selection. Rare these days for anyone to sell hand carved furniture with mass market Ikea everywhere destroying the market for wood carvers.

I absolutely am in with them. Every single order I have had. I have never had an issue. The gifts smell so good. And the items I purchased' were wrapped so Beautiful and neat. I appreciate that so much! On time Delivery! What more can a Queen ask for. I am Definitely a big fan. And will continue to shop here I love! Love! Love them!

Last Christmas my niece, who is med school, wanted an "anatomically correct" silver heart on a chain. I guess she knew these necklaces existed - I did not. I searched on line and discovered Etsy. I found her silver heart, ordered it pretty close to Christmas and received it in time to mail it to my niece. It was anatomically correct from my perspective: Q haha. She loved it and her classmates admire it. I recommend Etsy - they have many very creative gift options and respond quickly.

I was looking for a bouquet with a Scottish twist and saw one by clovathistles. The box arrived and I was thrilled with the beautiful purple thistle and white rose end result. This was bound with purple modern tartan plaid which I will use as a theme. I will cherish my hand made bouquet for years. It looks so fresh and real. Catherine ensured that I got exactly what I wanted and even did buttonholes to match and a horseshoe gift. As a Piano student I Found at Etsy a very uniq and special gift is the designer music composition notebook hard cover a4 120 pages perforated blank staff paper it is a hand made! So beautiful fits amazingly on my piano bought three pieces great as a decent gift to any honored music person Olga was so kind she assist my search as I was there defiantly will do my next art item again at Etsy!
