This is probably my favorite place to purchase interesting things on the net. There are lots of great home made items, vintage items sold by excellent sellers.

Such beautiful things are available at this site. I've purchased several items without any problems. Gift items have been shipped timely and arrived perfect.

Etsy has allowed me to leave my job and become a full time work at home graphic designer. I've had great experiences from my customers. Good communication is key! Thank you Etsy!

Take a note everyone of you that thinks this place is bad. Cool gift ideas and selection of various things for her/him. I ordered numerous times and I'm still happy.

Recentely I purchased a hand made doll crafted by artist, Gioconda Pieracci. The purchase came through Esty, and the transaction was very easy. Gioconda couldn't have been a nicer lady, and appreciated my purchase, and my admiration of her artistry. My little doll is beautiful. She is the queen with the Lamb. This doll is so special and lovely in her appearance, that I plan on purchasing another as soon as I can. Hopefully the bride. Sarah Stone.

Despite the number of negative reviews, for me Etsy is a good marketplace where I always find the exact product to suit my needs. I have nothing to complain about.

I am a seller on Etsy for 6 years and I find it challenging and fun for the most part. My shop has many different vintage items for sale. I love the diversity of having a curiosity shop online with shelves I keep well stocked and shelves I don't have to dust.
I advise buyers to be curious and ask the seller questions.
A good seller will answer them honestly and promptly.
I advise the buyer to look at the reviews before making a purchase.
I also advise the buyer should read the whole sellers comments. The section of shop policy is very important in that the seller will alert buyers of the "rules" like refunds or "all sales final" etc.
Most sellers will not refund the shipping as the shipping services don't either, ie, FedEx, USPS, UPS.
Why should a seller pay to take back an item if the seller wants to return it? Unless it was sold and was "not as described", then the seller should pay for shipping.
I have had many contacts with the staff at Etsy, and they always get back to me promptly and always try their best to resolve any problem or issue I may ask about.
They go to great lengths to make suggestions or to explain a policy or steps that should be taken next to correct the problem.
I like Etsy, and I am glad and proud to be a merchant there.

This business has a lot of one of a kind custom made merchandise. They custom make clocks, banners, bicycle flags for the handlebars, puzzles and more.

Rather than 5 stars for etsy this is for felicesereno who sells the most amazing vintage items. Great customer service. I am a repeat buyer and he always send out a small gift

I ORDERED A BOOT FOR $128.00, THE PRODUCTS I RECEIVED WAS NOT GOOD. AT FIRST, I THOUGHT I HAVE LOST MY BUCKS, BUT WHEN I CALLED THEIR REFUND HELPLINE NUMBER i. E. *******320 and CLAIMED FOR THE REFUND.
AND GUESS WHAT! WITHIN 8 WORKING DAYS THE MONEY GOT CREDITED IN MY ACCOUNT. AFTER READING SO MUCH OF NEGATIVE REVIEWS I THOUGHT I HAVE LOST MY MONEY, BUT AT THE END I GOT MY REFUND...

I've ordered numerous t-shirts (specifically v-neck t-shirts), masks and magnets from this website. With one exception (Jeyla Designs) all Etsy Sellers were super helpful and professional, and worked to special order when necessary and to overcome or replace any errors or shipping delays. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE ETSY SELLERS, and I've tried quite a few of the other sites before I found my v-neck shirts on Etsy.com!

I have ordered several items... decals for my car and my fiancees car. I had Just received my Superman window decal. I have had no problem and i had received my orders withing 3-4 days depending on where it was coming from. The customer service was excellent. Thanks Etsy. I will recommend them to folks... oh wait... i already have done tht.

Those that are posting below are referring to a specific shop and not Etsy itself, which is a little unfair. Etsy is a website that effectively allows people to open up their own stores and sell their goods (like Ebay, except it specializes with homemade, crafted products).

I have had so much success with Etsy, purchasing a number of items over the years. Recently, I got to see the other side of Etsy with their case system.

What happens if a store doesn't send you what you pay for? You open up a case. The vendor has 5 days to respond to your case and resolve the issue without Etsy needing to intervene. The shop that I was having problems with did not respond, so I escalated my case.

Etsy then responded that the seller had two additional days to either send me what I purchased or refund me. If not, they said that they would immediately refund me, and shut down their shop until they reimbursed Etsy for their funds. I was blown away by the customer service that Etsy provided and I really do encourage people to keep shopping here.

This site is an independent shop on Etsy.com and sells vintage and antique hair accessories and jewelry.

I have made a number of purchases from this shop and been delighted with their service. The owner is highly professional and the merchandise is always accurately described. Not only that but the merchant is an academic writer and includes links to the many papers and books she has written on the subject of costume. Included too are contemporary pictures of many of the items being worn by Victorian and 1920s ladies.

The stock is very large and varied and of high quality. I have seen very unusual Indonesian head dresses and jewelry here which I have never seen elsewhere.

I once had a minor issue of an item I had ordered being unavailable. It was apparently missing in the warehouse. Rather than disappoint me and just leave it out of the package (it was a multiple order) the merchant offered me alternatives such as a substitute item of my choice at a generous 25% discount. Having a "wish" list I chose the discount and selected another item. The discount was applied directly to my Paypal account within 24 hours.

All the items were shipped promptly by a tracked international service and all but one arrived within 1-2 weeks. The delay was due to bad weather and the carrier and not the sellers fault. The service was always friendly and professional. As a frequent buyer I have several times been offered discount coupons which are much appreciated.

I love etsy.com. I find things there that are unique, original, of high quality, and I have never had any trouble with any order nor the customer service. They are just awesome!
