When I started on Facebook, I loved it for its many privacy features and the fact that I could connect with friends I haven't seen in years. Now when I look at it, the site has been straying from the qualities it needs to improve on and is trying to spice up the look of the site. What they don't understand, is that they are forgetting about the valuable privacy options that are slowly becoming harder and harder to control. With the new Facebook timeline, I feel much more vulnerable, because there are things you can do with Timeline that you couldn't with the old layout. These changed make it easier to find information about you that you may not want everyone to know. All summed up, Facebook need to improve on privacy and less on the prettiness factor.

The longer I use FB, the more I hate it. My biggest complaint is the constant dumping of unwanted advertisements on my newsfeed. It doesn't matter what detailed steps I take to hide or dismiss ads, the next time I open FB, many of the ads I hardware back. I am talking 30 to 40 a day. I hate opening my newsfeed. I hate opening FB. Worthless! And I detest ads in some eastern script. I keep FB simply to keep up with some of my kids and family.

My comments ( idiots, dogs, beggers, etc) are blocked stating it is against their community standards. But comments with obscene words in Tamil are at par with their standards. I deacivated my account and they sent message stating that " now the comments are at par with their standard. But I banned them and closed my facebook account. It is like paid media with double standards. Waste of time which I realised lately.

I am really exhausted due to the current Coronavirus situation. I planned to marry my girlfriend in Jan 2020. But here see what happened. The world is hit by the deadly virus that ruin our wedding as well.
Anyways, I really want to say thanks to admin for brining me closure to my girlfriend. We met each other in site and we fell in love with each other. I started chatting and video calling with her all day long.
After that, we started dating each other but when I was about to marry her. The Coronavirus struck the earth. I wish that one day I will marry her and turn my dreams into goals.

U ban me for 30 days right after my 30 days ban is over. U are so pathetic u ban me for posts i have made years ago. Posts with japanese videos? Really? Posts in chinese? You are spying people. I talked with my dad in a store about leggins (i had no mobile phone on me! Nor do i have my dad in my friends list on facebook) and i come home and i see only leggins adds on facebook! I have been suspended for what I do not know. I tried calling facebook support and I get India, WTF cant understand with there jibberish and they want me to go to a store and get an ebay card and give them the number, Do I look stupid? Thats the only way they can unlock my account? How about speaking to someone in the US that I can understand and not trying to scam me. I want to know why I was suspended and let a real person explain to me. I cant open anything when i try to sign on except for a message saying my account is shut down, Yes I am pissed

Facebook censors posts the social media platform disagrees with. 1st they fact check a post. If false they block. If not false, they say it is partially false. If not false, or partially false, they remove the post, saying it goes against their community standards. A post, honoring a 96 year old, female, veteran; for her service is against their community standards.

It's a love-hate relationship with facebook. Can't live with it, can't live without it. It's great for staying in touch with people and sharing what everybody is up to, especially if you don't have the time and muse to take care of all your friendships constantly.
What I don't like about it are the privacy issues. I don't want to become a citizen of glass and give all my information to people I don't know and who will use it themselves for what I don't know. But this is why you have to make up your mind about how you want to use a webpage like facebook. As long as you share as little information about yourself as possible (and I don't think that a post like "Having bad digesting problems today" will catch the interesst of a third party) you will be just fine and can enjoy the benefits of this site.

Facebook disabled my whole account without telling me why, without warning. I tried to login to my account but I couldn't. Facebook disabled the page that I created for my art business, that had over 1,000 likes, that I paid hundreds of dollars to Facebook for likes and other advertising. I sold a lot of art by advertising on my business page.

Terrible all in all. I am a stay at home father, and just because I am not female, I am not allowed to offer my advice, or ask for advice from other moms. Raising a child is tough work no matter what gender. I signed up for the site and it stated 'only moms can post at this time'. To me that is pure sexism. Gender should not be the only deciding factor on being a parent. To me the site is just as sexist as a company as chickfila might be, except in this case they are denying uses the ability to post based on gender. That is not right at all. Sorry circleofmoms, you get a 1 star.

Mark Zuckerberg is the worst CEO in history! He DOES NOT protect users from dangerous criminals and pedophiles lurking on the platform. In Facebook's early days, it seemed to be so innocent, and it was ok for people to talk to their friends, but now, there are criminals who hack users profiles and want to steal your money/identity/information. It's a shame that people can just get away with whatever they want to these days and not get caught!

The platform HEAVILY allows animal and child abuse, and if criminals happen to see those photos and comments that others post, it's open season on those poor creatures. There are a bunch of child predators and animal abusers on Facebook. Believe it or not, Mark Zuckerberg himself is an animal/child abuser and SHOULD BE PUT AWAY! Facebook needs to shut its doors for good! Zuckerberg does not want to remove the cruel, abusive images/posts, because that's what fuels the company and keeps it running! Zuckerberg and the team are villainous and corrupt. The company is becoming very malicious. Not only do they allow pedophilia and animal abuse, but they are stealing your and your child's personal information(i. E., social security number). Whatever they tell you about privacy, DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. They don't care about your privacy. They're just out to hack your computer and get your money!

Pioneer Tire Company, Stillwater, OK. Honest and fair. They do alignment, brakes, and suspension repair. There is no more honest and reputable businessman (still living) I have met than Victor Borland, the owner. I knew his father (a left handed baseball pitcher who shut out Mickey Mantle) from 1970. Of all the automotive repair businesses I have dealt with, there are ABSOLUTELY NONE I could recommend more highly.

This is a highly addictive app that needs to come with a warning- ZERO customer support system. You can not just blame covid 19 on everything. If you want to act like you have a real system you need real people behind it! Someone is making alot of money using no real humans for support! If you mentioned killing yourself I dont think they would care. This is the most annoying and crappy system I have ever used to buy and sell anything or epecially keep friends. I end up seeing everyones life thread-while they syphon all of your personal DATA! They will hold your money as well. I have been ripped of by a person and no response in over 30 days so far. Having real human friends is also better than seeing everyones fake lives and pictures all day- just acting to be perfect and happy - ruining the entire world... one click at a time.

Facebook's AI and machine learning to review Businesses Ads has never worked for our account. We have endured constant mistaken Ad Account bans, Facebook Marketing Experts seem to be false advertising because in my own experience I have clicked on the banner to schedule a call and it always says there are no time slots available.

Weheartly is a confederation of thieves and con-men. I've seen too many negative reviews and have recently experienced the disappointment of being scammed by them. They shouldn't be allowed to advertise (period). Given my bad experience with Weheartly, I will likely pass on many legitimate on-line vendors as a result of their treachery -- my trust is gone. Amazing, you can't cancel the purchase once it's made -- even minutes after clicking the "buy" button... so buyers beware -- Wehearly and their cohorts should prosecuted for fraud and theft. There should be "negative star grades" to rate this business -- unfortunately, they force you to give them at least a one star!

So, unlike F__kerbook, I will transparently say that signing it means you will get emails from the site to sign other petitions. You can ignore them, unsubscribe, or whatever. You can also do so anonymously, and she never gets notified you did so. Embedded within the petition is a YouTube video & article on Medium... both are yours truly!

If you're not a kiss-$#*! black person, look out for vindictive employees protecting white supremacists, racists, or privileged wypipo! Yes, even in my world, which isn't very big in society. Always have backup admins for any groups or Pages, and if you're not about keeping up the status-quo, they will harass you continuously!
As for being banned, it was unfair, cruel, and a nasty move on their part. They knew people looked up to me, I didn't care what they thought I was doing there.

Well, they finally set me up and banned my account with prejudice on 8/8/19. Wouldn't give me a reason at all; said for their security & privacy (or was that safety) they could not tell me. No, if they told me, it would probably be grounds for a good lawsuit. Must've been a group decision, and I traced the emails they were sending me to NYC. They're even harassing my friends when they post things about me or for me, when they don't even use that place very much. If I hadn't had them as my admins, my groups (and Pages) would have disappeared altogether. They affected many things & people in my life, for I am disabled and run my business from my home; can't get around much for physical reasons.
They are tyrants running that place like dictators, thought police, censoring activists, and protecting fragile users on that platform. To say we need internet laws is an understatement. Social media sites have gotten full of themselves, and ruin people's distribution channels & dissemination of information. Being the largest & fastest platform in the world, FB is definitely leading the pack of monopoly empires seeking impunity for what they do to people (especially POC). Zuckerberg & employees are behaving badly, having private meetings with the thug in the White House, and everybody looks the other way because they have a presence there. SMH

About 2 months ago, I posted a video of a white woman painting herself white while saying "White Lives Matter," and a bunch of other funny stuff. It was bitter-sweet, because I, as a Black person in America, am as outraged by oppression as anybody. Tired of police shootings and incarceration of innocent Black people. I start a conversation with a black guy and we were laughing about going to Lowe's to buy some paint together, return to paint ourselves white and go hang out with the KKK. Perhaps even start some crap. But, it was all fun and games, because no way would 2 Black people do anything but get killed in a situation like that. Anyway, the post was public, so anybody could see it. Next thing I knew, the post disappeared. Now, whenever anyone breaks Facebook policy and gets reported, the employees flag the post and make you take it down before you can sign back in. Not this time. It just disappeared. I create a post saying that someone at Facebook must be a KKK-supporter or racist, and why are they doing this? Days later, I find the video again, put it back up, and dare Facebook to take that one down too. I also explain what the hubbub was about with the post that was deleted, but none of the fun was in the new one.
About a week later, I create a new middle name that describes what I do in the world. Some employee of Facebook starts harassing me about the middle name, saying that it's not legal, yada, yada, yada. I tell him, Riley, that they are liars about making everybody comply with this legal name nonsense and that I have tons of friends who don't use their legal first or last names on Facebook. We go in circles about it, and he says that I can have it as a nickname (which only shows up if someone bothers to look at my profile). I tell him that, too, is bull. They run around claiming an across-the-board policy that they only enforce when someone decides to pick you out of millions of users who don't use their legal first OR last names. I use both! I figure I'll fight these clowns outside of Facebook, and that Riley was about to block me from Facebook, because this conversation took a couple of days. They have been doing that to people they don't like too. I saved everything on my computer, change my name, and start hunting around for someone to fight Facebook with me. That has been interesting, because nobody is watching the helm of what Facebook does to people in this world.
I then find a site saying that Facebook is targeting certain kinds individuals and harassing them because they think they are activists. It was a petition to bring this to the attention of the Facebook executives, but needed another thousand or so votes. So, I propagate that one all over Facebook... to groups I belong to, which are many. Too fast for them to figure out where I was sending it to and get rid of it before I did. There's also someone who posted on my timeline which said that Facebook is doing emotional experiments on people to see their reaction; pissing them off on purpose. I was sickened by what I read, and couldn't finish the article.
What's going on in this country that some businesses get so large that everybody is afraid to go after them? And, it's not like I wish for the good old days where companies were much more under control, because that's just hogwash anyway; they have never been under anybody's control, but are just getting worse. Organizations and businesses that are supposed to protect consumers just don't exist anymore, and legal entities make you jump through a million hoops to help any individuals on a civil matter like this. I bet a class-action law-suit could be created, but they would have to do quite a bit of work to draw out people being harassed by Facebook employees who won't identify themselves with full names, titles, etc. There are over 13,000 employees working for Facebook in Menlo Park, CA, and well into the billions in users.
I was a computer professional, so I know how managers are clueless as to what technical employees decide to do behind their backs; they would have no idea and could claim ignorance, while the techno-geeks get away with murder if they want to. The petition said that Facebook is even getting the police involved in watching certain people if they suspect advocacy or activism going on. Oh, but not the supremacists! No, they leave all of THEM alone to do as they please, harass who they please, bully who they please, and hate who they please. The discrimination madness must stop! I've got more leads to check out as far as organizations who could help, but I'm just disgusted with what Facebook employees are allowed to get away with. I'm not running, either, because I will stand and fight for what I believe in. My first amendment rights are being violated, and I'm not going to just sit here and take it. NOPE!
