This has been the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I purchased a pair of glasses and had expensive lenses (worth €500) fitted. Shortly after, the arm of the glasses broke due to a manufacturing defect. Despite admitting the defect, Farfetch refused to reimburse me. They demanded that I return the glasses, even though I explained that I had spent €500 on custom lenses. The representative told me I wouldn't get a refund unless I returned the glasses and that my issue didn't matter because it was 'against their policy.' I am now facing a €900 loss (€500 for the lenses + €400 for the glasses). Their service is absolutely unacceptable.
Mostly I'm very happy with Farfetch, but when you need customer service to act and solve a problem your frustration level gets high.
I received an item and need to return it. Farfetch order system is not updated and shows the item is still on its way to me. As long as the status is not "Delivered" I cannot use the return procedure. Send several emails, but no response nor an updated order status. How can one possibly sent back an item within the recommended 7 days when the order system fails and Farfetch customer service doesn't act?
I was looking for a specific pair of Golden Goose shoes and was excited when I found them at Farfetch. Even though this is an expensive purchase I was eager to treat myself. I received the tracking information and watched them until they landed in a warehouse in Cincinnati, OH... where apparently they are still sitting months later. After multiple calls to the shipper DHL and to Farfetch, each told me that they were not liable to refund me for my purchase even though I never received it. If Farfetch had just marked my order as lost, DHL would have supposedly refunded me. They refused to do this and I never received a refund or my shoes. Do not order from them. Their customer service is awful and good luck receiving your items.
Terrible customer service. I've never experienced anything like it. There is now plenty of choice on the internet so I would suggest you steer clear and find someone else. I'm sure there are plenty of other companies that would appreciate the business and treat you with a bit of respect too. Farfetch are very poor indeed.

Everything will seem to be OK at first but if you are unfortunate enough to experience a problem, they simply run for the trees. Steer well clear!

Be aware of this seller! Returned the goods and never got my money back then had to open Paypal case. Still waiting for my money and they do not wish to refund despite the shoes being sent in a condition I received them (perfect/unused!). Definitely will not recommend and would never buy again from Farfetch again.
My first order with this company was processed fast and delivery could not be better. I received notification timely and the product arrived earlier then expected, 7 days! ( international shipping too!) The packaging was impeccable and I love, love, love the product. I'm really impressed and will be a loyal shopper from now on.

Impossible to send item back. FarFetch refuse to refund me. I'm hundreds of pounds out of pocket. Do not use Farfetch. They do not offer a working returns service from the UK. You WILL lose your money if you need to return goods.

Please see previous reviewers comments - mine are exactly the same:-) Ordered a pair of Marc Jacobs boots, which came from Paris. I had previously agreed with farfetch that I would place the order for the boots if all the packaging was intact as I wanted them for a gift. When I received the boots the packaging was tatty and the boots appeared to have been tried on and smelled slightly strange. I therefore returned them, again having agreed with farfetch that they would refund me my postage charges in full for both return and delivery. To date I've been refunded the purchase price of the boots and that's it. Still quite a lot out of pocket though:-(
Customer service representatives are good to talk to. But received the wrong item, which was supposed to be a Christmas gift, so close to Christmas. Had to return it, and literally leaves me no time to shop another one. Frustrating and kinda heartbreaking.

Somebody paid a 1800 euros order fraudulently using my credit card. The name and address did not match the card in any way. The site was literally warned hours after the order with days ahead to cancel the delivery and refund the stolen money. They could not do it. It is either gross incompetence or indifference for user security. Either way, putting your trust in this site seems a bit far fetched...
Great selection of cool stuff and the folks at customer service are nice and as accommodating as possible, but for a website that sells clothes and shoes, their lack of a usable gift return policy is pretty dumb business. I received some shoes that were the wrong size, but the only thing they can do is initiate a return through the person that made the purchase. So, you have to get in touch with the person that bought you the gift, ask them to help you return the gift, and even then, the refund can only go to THEIR account. That's right, no gift receipt or gift card. So then you have to call them again and say, "hey, can you order those shoes for me again but in a size 10?" Seriously, this pretty much makes your site unusable. I would definitely never do business with them again. Nearly every other site I've ever dealt with has got this figured out, it's not rocket science.

In November, I bought Ferragamo $368 jelly ballerina shoes for my mom for Christmas. I bought them early because the shoes were coming from Singapore and I live in FL and was concerned about potential shipping delays. In actuality, the shoes arrived fairly quickly but I had to wait until Christmas to have my mom try them on. They didn't fit and Farfetch has refused my attempt to return them. Fourteen day return policy (with a couple of extra days for the holiday) is not reasonable nor market within a global pandemic and supply chain woes. I will never, ever shop at Farfetch again. $368 is sn expensive lesson to learn. They also refused my repeated attempt to speak to a manager.
A couple of days ago I woke up and found that there were several unauthorized transactions from Farfetch, an ATM and a company in Hawaii. All of the transactions were either $400 or above. I reported the incident to my bank, and they cancelled the original credit card and reissued another one. Yesterday, I saw that there was still unauthorized activity so I reported it again, to my bank. Yesterday, it was the company in Hawaii, so my conclusion was that somehow, these thieves have my banking information. Sure enough, this morning, I wake up to find more transactions from FarFetch.com. This has been 3 days of starting my mornings, undoing the work of criminals so I will be contacting the FBI this morning. I am sorry I ever heard of this company. They connected with me through phone alerts which I opened thinking they were a credible merchant. They are not. Save yourself. Clear their alerts. Do not click on them and whatever you do, DO NOT provide credit information.
I ordered stuff worth 2 grands and the order was marked delivered but not delivered. Their company policy on the website says this in the screenshot attached about no sign delivery and they said I requested for No sign delivery. How does this makes sense? Now thy keep juggling me between DHL and themselves. One asks me to contact the other and vice versa. This has drained all my energy and I am just shattered and frustrated. This website is not advertised I stumbled upon it by chance and I am so glad I found it. I love the idea of a global network of boutiques. The concept is good but I was sceptical of how it work in practice. I was proved wrong. The whole experience of browsing, ordering, creating an account was user-friendly, efficient and fast. No connection drops, perfect search facilities and filtering.
Items ordered arrived promptly and beautifully wrapped. Returns system is well-established. All in all, a perfect retail experience. I recommended the website to friends and family already.
Elegant stuff, amazing price and very fast delivery, I'm in love with site. This is my second time order from farfetch and I'd recommend it for everyone. I'd never write a review at any site expect farfetch.
Do not order from this website. I ordered an expensive jacket but it came with a stain on it. Any other decent merchant would give a full refund (there is the only piece) and apologize. They insisted it's normal and asked me to take it back or kept my shipping fee. No way I would take a stained jacket so they kept my shipping fee. Never shop here again.

No it is NOT a scam! There are a lot of bad reviews so I felt the need to rate my positive experience. I bought an authentic Fendi wallet from a gorgeous boutique in Italy. I was pleasantly surprised! I checked the actual location of the boutique before I purchased since I was a bit skeptical. Everything matched and was perfectly OK. Their site is a pain to checkout at times though! I was also able to get free shipping with a one day free shipping promotion they were having! DHL ships in 3-5 business days MAX anywhere in the world so that was AMAZING! I also got one heck of a deal on the wallet! I'm super happy so 5 stars for the deal and free/fast shipping!

Farfetch often has that hard to locate item. Prompt tracking updates, efficient delivery. Item is always as expected. I did have to do one return that went process went smoothly. DHL was at my door on the day, and within my timeframe. Again, tracking was provided and my refund was timely.
Also, I am in the USA, so your experience may vary due to your country and taxes, import duties etc.
This company is so bad! I placed an order 7 days ago and it has not shipped! I tried calling customer service numerous times and sent them emails. No response whatsoever! My account now shows no order was ever placed.
They basically took my money. I'm not sure if this is a legit retailer. I received no communication from them. I already called my credit card company and alerted them. They are thieves! Don't believe the positive reviews. They are probably fake!

Ordered Golden Goose over a month ago from Farfetch and still don't have my shoes. Come to find out my shoes were delivered to some random address in Spain and I live in California! I keep getting the runaround from them without a resolution in sight! Their excuse is they're working with their courier (DHL) to solve the problem. They made the mistake not DHL. Beyond frustrating to deal with! I don't understand why they penalize paying customers for their mistake. Get your act together, Farfetch!
I have been shopping at Farfetch for about 12 years and apart from a delivery hiccup on one occasion that was eventually resolved by DHL, I have had nothing but absolutely professional service, shipping and delivery. Never had a problem with any of my purchased items - always in perfect condition. Packaging to Australia is always a bit of a concern from some sites but Farfetch uses exemplary packing boxes that guarantee items arrive in pristine condition. This latest shopping experience from 'Julian' in Italy was faultless and my Canada Goose coat arrived at my door super fast. Fabulous price too!

I have to contradict those bad reviews... My experience was flawless. And customer service was +++++. Shipping to the US from Europe was super fast. The site has a glitch where the status is not updated, so I got worried and called customer service who gave me the tracking info.
If it provided that info on the site, it would have saved me a call - maybe I was lucky, but other than the site issue, I cannot find anything negative to say - it's like shopping in Europe, without the jet lag. Love it.

Be careful when buying from Farfetch. Their return policy is so strict that to be able to return something, you basically have to ship it back as soon as soon as you get it.
I bought a gift for my husband and by the time his birthday arrived (and the item did not fit), it was too late. Only a few days past their window. No exceptions are made. Not even for a store credit.
TERRIBLE company. Terrible customer service. Tried to buy shoes twice. First time they returned it to the seller without notifying me. The second time, DHL apparently left the package at my door (never received anything). They won't refund you. They will be just so sorry for you and there is nothing they can do about it. Just save yourself the time and shop on netaporter or somewhere else!
