When it works it is good but the battery does not last and if you are out of the year coverage they will only give you a 30% discount on a new one. A built in repeat sell!..
Will not stand behind their products. Horrible company. Cheat products not designed to last. Read reviews before you buy it. Many consumers experiencing frustrations.
2 Charge HR in less than 18 months.
Rubber detaches deom plastic.
Total waist of money.
Calling customer Service gave me a 25% discount on a new product. Really? Thanks but no.
Rather switch brands.
Fitbit customer service is soo bad. Out of the box the bands wouldn't click in and FB refused to send replacements. I just ended up returning it. Pure junk.
In less than a year I have had my fitbit replaced 5 times. They wouldn't ever give me my money back. Mine would work for about 2 to 3 months and then stop working. Not worth the price!
I've been a loyal customer of Fitbit over years, also sent them as gifts to my family and friends. If someone would told me Garmin/other brand is better, I'd defend Fitbit because I loved the mobile app and how it presented sleep, activity and other data - so user friendly. A couple of years ago, my device's band broke and they sent me a replacement. I paid back with purchasing Premium membership. That was when Fitbit was independent and tried to keep customer happy.
A couple of weeks ago I started to see another issue with Luxe not syncing part of the data to my iPhone. I attempted to fix it using resources online (re-install app, restart device, etc) - nothing helped. Only then I contacted the customer support and after 3 hours of chatting through online chat, twitter account and over the call, I wasn't able to resolve the issue. All of these reps gave me different reasons for what's causing the issue and steps to address it. I requested to be connected to a supervisor and was told they'd be contacting me within 3 days. It's been almost a week, not word from them. What a waste of time and a disappointing experience.
Order the Fitbit 2 and was told it shipped same day as order. Received text on Monday saying it's on way. On Wednesday received a rest from Fitbit that order will be delivered on Thursday. Thursday came & went no Fitbit heard nothing from company. Researched and found out now shipping to post office few towns away from me and add 3 days. All the Supervisor can say is it's eithin the timeframe if shipping. DON'T ORDER -IF WANT INS GO TO STORE MAY GET BETTER DESK AND BETTER SERVICE THEN FITNIT. TOTALLY DISGUSTED
FitBit/Google has started cleaning house on their forum. Anything that appears to be a complaint about how FitBit/Google has handled the release of the Versa 4 and the Sense 2.
They sold the Versa 4 and the Sense 2 smartwatches as next generation when they were actually lite versions of the prior Versa 3 and Sense 1.
They have ghosted any and all calls to "Do the right thing" and open the SDK development section for developers, they have disabled Google assistant, they have disabled the WiFi capabilities, and disabled almost all the third party apps except for a few basic apps.
There have been calls for class action law suits or just a plan out boycott of everything FitBit or Pixel.
My first fitbit (fitbit sense) stopped working one week into use. After spending many hours setting it up and learning how to employ even a fraction of its features (none of which were user friendly) I called the company and asked for a refund. I was denied. I then asked about its accuracy concerning its heartrates features. I was mislead. I was instead sent a replacement, and told I had 45 days from the receipt of the new item to get a refund if I was not satisfied. I did so. Again I was denied. I was told the 45days FROM THE ORIGINAL (BROKEN WATCH) HAD EXPIRED! Now I have no refund, no recourse, and am stuck with a $300 watch, which due to Heart Rate precision accuracies issues, I have no use for. This company cares nothing for its customers or its integrity. Be cautious in dealing with organizations like this. Your money is their only real concern.
After fitbit was sitting for a couple months, I went to recharge it and found that it wasn't working at all. I contacted the company because I hadn't had the fitibit long enough or used it long enough for it to short circuit. Inititaly they said they couldn't help and that fitbits don't last forever. I'm aware of this, but think it should last longer than just 2-3 months of use. They then offered me a discount on my next purchase, but I really am not interested in a device that costs a lot for working a little. When the fitbit worked, it was great.
FitBit has a rating of 1.3 stars from 451 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with FitBit most frequently mention customer service, apple watch and heart rate. FitBit ranks 53rd among Activity Tracker sites.
