Don't Waste Your Money!

The Fitbit Sense is not worth your money. I've had my Sense watch for approximately one year, and two weeks ago (04/12/2022) it stopped working. The screen went black, and no mater how much trouble shooting I conducted with Fitbit support, my watch would not reset or turn on. I reached out to the Fitbit support team several times with very little feedback from them, other than you will receive an email from the warranty department; after contacting support for a third time, I finally got an email from the warranty department (while on the phone with support). The email stated that I needed to purchase a new watch, because the repair is outside of their warranty, although I purchased an additional warranty when I bought the Sense watch. I was also told to use the 35% off discount that was included in the email, when I buy a new watch. REALLY! Why should I spend more money on an item that I purchased in good faith thinking that it would work properly. Additionally, I purchased the warranty to prevent me from having to spend more money in the event something like this happens. I'm really disappointed that this is how the Fitbit company treat it's customers. I have been a loyal Fitbit customer, and I've purchased several watches for my family members; however, I will no-longer purchase Fitbit items, because they do not stand by their products. I guess I'm moving on to the Apple Family. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Terrible Service

I tried complaining to them about their adds because there was a curse word in them, but they kept talking about the watches. I'm mad now. They deserve their rating.

I received a Fitbit Charge HR as a Christmas gift and wore it continuously for 7-1/2 months. I am not sure how accurate it is, but I enjoyed using it as incentive to move more. When I discovered how easy it is to track diet & calories, I liked it even better. And when I purchased the companion Aria scale, and community on the app, I liked it even better. So what is the problem? The plastic part on the band where the charger plugs in broke and now the charge cord won't stay plugged in. However, I have to say that customer service was great. When I called to report that it broke, they offered me the option of 50% off of a different product or a free replacement. I chose the replacement and received it in less than a week. When I told the person who gave me the gift, she told me that her fitbit had been replaced twice for free. So why am I writing a bad review now? The replacement product will not charge fully even after reviewing advice on YouTube and resetting it twice. Also, while searching for this information, I discovered multiple reviews about Fitbits breaking after less than 1 year of use. My personal trainer told me that, although I don't need a fitness tracker, if I like to use it, the Apple watch is so much better than fitbit. I will continue to use my Fitbit until it breaks again which apparently will happen. Then, I will accept the trainer's advice and explore other options--I do like what FitBit is supposed to do. It just doesn't seem to be a quality product. If you don't mind replacing it twice a year, go for it.

After many hundreds of dollars spent on new and then discounted replacements, my wife is left without a smart watch because her Versa 3 and 4s - and the discounted replacements for each - all died right after the 45 day return window.
FitBit got somewhere around 500 bucks from us and we got nothing but dysfunctional products.
Customer service is a total joke - don't expect them to care one bit about you or your issues with them selling garbage products.
STAY AWAT FROM FITBIT PRODUCTS!

I'm on my 3rd fitbit device and I am highly disgruntled with how the customer service is just nothing but $#*!ty with their generic responses to customer issues. I bought a Fitbit Charge 4 last year 0n 2nd November and barely two weeks in it gave me lots of trouble with inaccurate readings; I compared this to the readings in my Alta vs thework out videos I used... I've been following up since then and Nov 30th they promised to dispatch a new one after I did all the tests they needed me to do and they found that the device was indeed faulty. I've been following up and allI get is that there is no answer from 'the higher department' on the dispatch... It's been 2 months of a painfulfollow up on email, twitter but still nothing. If you're going to buy their products you better be wary of what to expect or just hope to get really lucky with a good buy! I'd give a zero star only that it's not possible

I love my Fitbit; the "customer service" not so much. I've had a Fitbit for over four years with few to no problems, and I really appreciate the health benefits and awareness it has given me. All was going quite well until Fitbit froze my account, presumably because it had been hacked. I'm not clear on that. I wrote them asking for a password change, head nothing back, wrote again, heard nothing, wrote again, and again. Finally, this AM, I had an online Chat. Mikko helped me, and he seemed very nice. He explained that, although it takes 24 hours for a standard response from Fitbit, he would "bump" my issue to the front of the line. I expected to hear back immediately. I waited several hours and then called Customer Service. This call started out ok. A guy named Manuel read my chat with Mikko, came back and stated, in what felt quite accusatory tone, that I had not waited the 24 to 48 hours response time. He pretty much implied that I should know better. As a long-time Fitbit subscriber/evangelist, I'm appalled and saddened that they would treat a customer in such a cheesy fashion. I'm re-thinkiing my relationship with Fitbit. Although I hear the Apple watch is marvelous, I will miss my Fitbit buds and all the friendly competition.

I actually pre-ordered this item knowing better. First off, It's hot off the press, meaning the sales and marketing weenies held a gun to the heads of the engineers to release it to production before it was ready. I know; I've been there. First impression, it was elegant. There was no telling where the watch ended and the band began until the nice color display lit up. Second impression, the thing is functionally impossible to operate with a display of that size, at least for a guy with normal sized hands. This was my fault for not doing my homework, as this was my first fitness watch. And speaking of the band, I Hated it from the start, as it's a very cheap molded piece of silicone rubber that is nearly impossible to fasten with one hand. I won't get into details, but the watch was very erratic in operation, switching modes seemingly at random. Things like brightness settings resetting spontaneously, menu selections that led to dead ends, etc. What a disappointment. I've returned it, and to their credit, they didn't hassle me. I bought a Chinese replacement for one quarter the price and, so far, have been very pleased with it.

Beyond terrible!

We have 3 fitbit ionics. One stopped charging just after the warranty expired so we bought another one. We recently got emails for a recall on both mine and my wife due to a battery defect. Customer service was beyond incompetent. They refunded my wife's but cant seem to locate anything for mine as Ive already completed the registration for the recall. On top of this they have no clue how to refund my wife's original ionic watch that stopped charging after a year. Every time I call the number provided the CSR's put me on hold and then hang up after long waits. I even spoke to two different supervisors who did the same thing. The place is completely and utterly in shambles... its a easy fix and they're only solution is to call the number that ive already called 6 times which is the same contact number for the centre they work at. Nobody there has any clue what theyre doing or even what department theyre in. I called the number allotted to for the recall and he people who answer have no clue about the recall and keep provided the same number Ive been calling. The recall is the least of their problems... complete mess.

Exceptional warranty

My Fitbit hr cracked. I contacted their online customer service, sent them a few pictures and they sent me a brand new one! I didn't even have to return the cracked one.

I Got A Fitbit Versa Smartwatch And The APP That Goes With It. So In Trying To Set Up The APP Through Fitbit's Customer Service Employees They Would Just Hang Up On Me. So I Had To Do It Myself And I Did It Correctly.
