If I could leave less than a star I would. I ordered a Nintendo switch and they only sent me the cables and the wrist straps for the controllers. No consol was ever incased in my package. What am i supposed to do with just the cables? I called them multiple times, each time I would be on hold for anywhere between 30 minutes and an hour. There was no help. They told me that I could file a police report but that they would not help. I used to love this company, but I will never shop with them again.
You suck and I will bad mouth you everywhere I can for your awful customer service! I bought my son a pre owned XBOX X from the GameStop in Wareham MA for Christmas. He turn it on yesterday for the console to be ban by XBOX because it was stolen! I called the corp off and all the are willing to do is have me trade it in and pay for a different one! They sold me a STOLEN XBOX and want me to pay for their mistake! Are you kidding me! I have reached out to the local news station to let them know how they are treating me! I also reached out to the attorney general of Massachusetts! Let's all ban together against this BS company! If we all refuse to purchase anything from them they will have to close down!
Bought some Xbox Games on December close to Christmas and ordered as Same day delivery through online and they sent Walmart Spark Company to deliver the order. On the text recieved later told it's delivered and when i look outside on my house the item is not there and the link saying delivered has no proof or picture it's delivered. I called customer service and they told wait for next day and call them. I called them back on the next day they can't do anything and they don't have any proof or picture it's deliverd only thing they saying the deliver driver told it's delivered andthey gave delivery driver number and I called the delivery driver and that person was rude and screaming saying I am not sure where i deliver the order as she is delivering 100 of delivery everyday but she delivered a house not mine. I called the customer service and told them to provide a refund after 1 hr of phone with them they can't do anything because it delivered as per driver.
I ordered a Ps5 for a 9 year old for Christmas from the online store. They shipped a Xbox360 and will not return it, exchange it, or even look into the issue. The store sites say you have to work with the online store. The wait times are over 30 minutes on the phone and they say they hold your place and will call you back but they do not. When you email them they do not return your emails.
I got a Gamestop gift card for $70. Went to their website to purchase Dynasty Warriors Origins; the digital copy. Entered my gift card, no issues. Entered my debit card details, no issue. Clicked checkout, and got an error that said something went wrong, refresh the page and try again in a few minutes. It also said I wouldn't be charged until my order processed. Guess what? My funds on my gift card were gone and my debit card charged for the difference. Order history blank and no email for a digital download code. Tried calling the CS line, and no one answered. It told me to press 2 for a callback. Number calls back a few minutes later and it's an automated message that says, "Sorry we can't help at this time. Please call back to reschedule a call back." Spent 30 minutes stuck in this loop before I sent an email. Got one email back asking what my giftcard number was and no reply since. Two days later, I finally get a real person to call me back after spending an hour stuck in that same continuous loop of scheduling a callback just to get an automate message when receiving the callback. They fixed the issue, put the funds back on my giftcard, and told me to try again. Placed the order again, same thing happens, and now I'm stuck in this loop of bull**** again. No one answers, schedule call back, get an automated message when answering the callback. Their CS team is the worst. Their website is the worst. I haven't shopped at Gamestop in years up until this point, and I will never shop there again. Would upload proof of purchase, but it's hard to do when nothing is in your order history on their website due to the error at checkout. TWICE!
I ordered and Nintendo switch last night that was supposed to be delivered same day. I still don't have the item my money is gone I can't find the order and I went into the GameStop store and they can't find the order. I want my money back immediately
I would give no stars if it was an option. I've been a customer at your store for over 20 years. My husband and I have spent a fortune of our hard earned money at your stores. For some reason we keep buying gaming head sets along with the warranties. Every time we buy the headsets and the warranty the employee working claims the warranty covers EVERYTHING, but THAT IS A LIE! Today we went, at least our third time over the last few years, to return a defective headset along with our warranty to receive a new set. And of course like every other time we are told our warranty does not cover it. What is the point of a warranty if it doesn't cover anything! Keep in mind your employee selling us the warranty claimed it covered everything. So, with all that being said, we are done with your company! I know you could probably care less about losing my families' business. But when a major corporation like yours doesn't help out the little people supporting your stores, you will lose more and more customers, could explain why you are having to shut down so many stores! NO Customer Satisfaction!

I spent almost $300 on sportscards, and they never arrived. After awaiting 3 weeks for their Loss Prevention to respond, they sent me a photo of the location of delivery, which was absolutely NOT my home. Their response; "call the police. We will not refund this order. " Then, they turned off my ability to access my account and review the purchase. Absolutely deplorable customer service! I will never do business with GameStop again! Buyer beware!
Recently purchased two game cards from GameStop and they literally are fake Cards and when I called corporate they gave me the number to some company called epic that don't have any way to resolve anything. No one offered to replace the useless card and their ridiculous return policy is just as useless as its only on the receipt and it's literally too freaking late to tell somebody about a no refund policy after they've spent their money. GameStop if they're still going out of business all I can say is hurry tf up. Literally stole over $30 out of mine and my son's mouths. That $30 could've been used on two meals.
