Given works well, more reliable than other sniping tools I've used and at a good price. What's not to like?
I've bought and sold on ebay for over 20 years, under many user accounts, and I've used a range of sniping services since the early 2000s, as a reseller and a collector who does not want to be waking up at 4 AM to buy something from Japan, or counting on my browser not to seize up in the few seconds when making a bid can win you the item, AND save you hundreds of dollars.
I've never found a sniping service/platform/utility as versatile and reliable as Gixen and I can't IMAGINE one. I think I was one of the earliest users, and I have tried a couple of others new apps since signing on to Gixen, but none is as easy, as cheap or as reliable. It's the best app I've ever used... NO kidding. I wish I was exaggerating, because then this wouldn't seem like such a canned endorsement. I am totally sincere, but I'm also responding to the obviously bogus and hysterical review that preceded mine.
The founder/designer Mario regularly makes updates and reminders, but never the kind of obnoxious, self-serving promotional messages you so often get from all sorts of sites and services. He is the best possible "technocrat," working behind the scenes to ensure that all goes well. I routinely make Ebay bids 2 seconds from close, which foreclose any "reflex" bids from others who may be watching the close of a sale, their fingers hovering on the bid window... and which formerly, when I had, to be safe, to bid even 5 or 6 seconds in advance, happened regularly, and maddeningly... and really added up. The mirror service ensures that my 100s of bids, in the past 4 years, have always gone through. NEVER a problem!
Amazing. Try it--you'll see that you can trust it, and then you'll pass the word like I am!
Thanks, Gixen... and thanks, Super-Mario!

I suffered a Stroke in 2015. It caused some brain damage issues. I have almost no short term memory. Before PC happened, I would now be classified as a mental defective. But I get by. Gixen allows me to list an item for certain and set a price I am willing to pay. I get e mailed when I have long forgotten about an item. The result is shown and I then pop to E bay and Pay. Look it's simple, it has organized me despite the mental problems I have. It removes a lot of stress about last minute bids. You can group items so you only end up with the first one won. All the other grouped bids are cancelled by a successful outcome. I had to rejoin once as my computer crashed and I lost the saved login details. No Problem I just paid for another membership and I was back in business. I do not know how to recover my old |ID. I liked the straightforwardness of a new one. Two days later I was ahead of the game due to savings far exceeding the annual fee. It has never failed me. Wqhich is why I say it is reliable. It'; s so inexpensive it's crazy cheap, yet a truly great friend to persons like myself who try to get by on a pension and have memory issues. If I am focussed on something as I am on this review at the moment, the memory issues are not apparent. However if my cat interrupts me I could forget to finish it. Or even to post it. Less than the price of a Pint in some Cities, and unlike Guiness and the like, It does do you some good, financially speaking.:-) because the items I have bought at significant savings have put a big smile on my face and keep it there. One problem about writing this review is there will be more competition for items and I may not get to win as many auctions at rediculous bargain prices BUT I supopose I have to be Honest and it is just the end of 'The season of 'Good Will To All Men' so here's my Review. I hope you do not read it. I LOVE the advantage being a Gixen User gives me. I suppose that's not too charitable but life's not fair, wise up to it! Take the advantage and run with it for goodness sake.
I'm very happy with Gixen acting on my behalf when my reactions couldn't possibly keep pace with the competition
Saves me so much time and so much money. Costs hardly anything for the yearly subscription, and is worth 1000s of times the amount you pay!
Powerfull, usefull and essential
No more ebay for me without gixen
Many auctions won
Subscribed the double network auction to more safety
Works great easy peasy to use... Select your item on eBay figure out your maximum price input the item and price and Gixen does the rest!

Answer: TOTALLY LEGIT! Been a paid up user for over a decade and never had a single problem.
Answer: It is obvious the reviewer had all the problems that he incorrectly blames on Gixen because he has visited other websites that have put malware/spyware/keyloggers/viruses on his computer. He won't admit that his problems are his own fault so falsely blames GIXEN for his own incompetence.
Answer: I have not needed to reach Customer Service. Their online help is pretty good. Just read.
Answer: It just works. Simple user interface. You can just "set it and forget it". Maybe the best online tool I have ever encountered.
Answer: Nothing at all. Gixen main service is free up to 4 winning snipes a month. Reliability for the free service is 99.5%. If you want higher reliability you can subscribe to Gixen Mirror. In that case your bid is sent twice, from two servers in different regions to minimize chance of failure. Gixen Mirror is inexpensive, around $6 / year, and there are different subscription types that can be seen on the settings page.
Gixen has a rating of 4 stars from 507 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with Gixen most frequently mention many years, mirror service and ebay auctions. Gixen ranks 6th among Auction sites.
