GoGuardian is literal SPYWARE. It has the ability to TRACK YOU! It's just not right. I feel like I have no control over what I browse with. Teachers and admins have the ability to see through your webcam and website browsing and also has the ability to look at your search history. Teachers also have the ability to block certain websites. It even blocks educational YouTube videos and can effect how efficiently you get your work done. I could go on and on, but you get the point. Teachers, don't use GoGuardian. Students, bear with me.

When you download GoGuardian, it's basically Spyware downloaded on your computer. They can also see what you have been doing.

This stupid extension literally is spyware (The viewing of Chromebooks) adware (teachers can pop up any site and make it unclosable) and malware (teachers can make the Chromebook unusable). The multi virus's qualifies as a Trojan horse, which is illegal. (I forgot when my teacher started using it) EDIT: I forgot, most people don't CONSENT to go guardian and only there parents do. Which proofs it can be used illegally. The illegal thing is useing this on someone chromebook with no asking for consent. Is illegal

This website is foul I'm getting spied on for no reason I can't play games I can't do anything this is not cool kids are crying I don't deserve this everything I love playing is blocked I am giving GoGuardian a violent penalty stop this your causing the 2nd Great Depression

Im in special education or teacher call it as "Study hall", and I see more student in special education getting more blocked than other normal student which is extreme unfair and stupid. Goguardian punishes us for being difference. I see more blacks people getting blocked than white people which is crazy racist. Overall, Goguardian need be removed.

I can't believe I can't even search for Jurassic Park! The teachers keep abusing it all the time, and it's downright infuriating that I can't have any free time. And don't even start on the fact that it's spyware! It seems like it's just watching my every move I can´t even listen to music while working!

It takes control of people and what they are able to do please fix this I hate I hate it I hate it this is real fuC4InG trash.

This app fuc17g sucks. It is literal spyware. It restricts everything appropriate after school hours and on weekends.

My district had made the decision to choose this extension to keep students on task, and for the record, I think this whole GoGuardian thing is incredibly disturbing, and is going in the wrong direction when to comes to monitoring.
I just cannot get over the fact that I am still being WATCHED after school hours, and keep in mind that all of this is happening while you're using your personal wifi at home. Creepy. The extension provides no privacy, whatsoever, meaning they can see your search history, and currently, its making me lose trust of my teachers. The block screens are so distressing when they show up, it's almost making you feel like an idiot being on the wrong thing. Our administrator is worse, they have blocked all gaming websites, which means no more free time when we've actually earned it.
Also, I do not know which teacher it is, but every sick day, they keep the GoGuardian on, and block everything (including Google Classroom) besides a few learning websites. If you're done with those learning websites and have to do an online assignment on Google Classroom, then screw your grades.
Overall, the fiery pits of the damned is where this extension belongs.

WHY IS GO GUARDIAN EVEN A THING IT SHOULD BE BANNED FROM THE WHOLE WORLD DUDE YOU CANT PLAY GAMES OR INSTALL GAMES PS IT SUCKS

GoGuardian gives teachers and administrators complete control over everything you do online, as well as letting them monitor you even outside of class. It also invades your privacy by giving them the ability to track your location and even see through your camera. It allows school staff to censor pretty much anything they want, even educational websites that you need for class. Its only purpose is censorship and invasion of privacy. That it is so widely used reflects the hypocrisy of a society that claims to hate censorship and value privacy, yet has no qualms about taking actions that show exactly the opposite.

It is the most horrible thing on planet Earth. It even tracks your location, which is just wrong. This tool is often abused, and I would recommend just going into developer mode if it gets added to your Chromebook. I swear it makes browsing a nightmare. This is a gamer's worst nightmare. One of the ways to submit this review was even blocked. I mean, WTF?

I got an F in math because I got a bunch of math videos blocked because goguardian said: "This content is blocked because it belongs too category "Education"". It even blocked GAMING MUSIC! This app does NOT deserve to be capitalized. 1 star.

As someone who is in school, I can say that my school uses GoGuardian. However, this app made me have trust issues as this app made me think that there was someone watching me everywhere. If I need to search something up for my assignment, NO. GoGuardian gave me trust issues because now I am paranoid that GoGuardian will close my tab for doing by WORK.

Most schools use GoGuardian, and that's bad because they are not able to trust students enough to do their work. However, teachers should be able to walk around the room and check if their students are on appropriate sites and doing the things that they need to do...not only that, but there is something called History...

Overall, this app is HORRIBLE.
