Another Indian scam
November 14, 2016

Upgraded to a new Dell computer with Windows 10 (ugh). Included is a driver's program which claims to be a partner with Microsoft (doubt it). Immediately, it's telling me I need to upgrade my drivers as three were not up to date. Took weeks to overcome the learning curve for Windows 10. Thought I was having trouble with the RW drive, so bit on the driver scam. They immediately billed me for 2016 costs plus $10.00 more for next year. When I tried to hit the red fix drivers icon, it just kept asking for more money. Wrote to their tech service dept. and never received a reply. Called their 877 number and got a guy from India who was unintelligible and just wanted more credit card information. Microsoft provides free driver upgrades and there is no need for this service. Removed the Safecart app and sometimes still get warnings that drivers are out of date.

Google goes mafia
January 19, 2019

Google have sold my detailed personal data to Nigerian scammers including my telephone numbers and what languages I speak. Wow! The ongoing transition to the new mafia state order has just reached a new level! Recommend avoiding Google services. "Don't be evil" - Google's slogan implies most people are total morons.

Google
September 26, 2023

How long will Google keep serving us the worst ads from various Chinese and similar fake companies, which claim to reward those who use their games, yet not a single person has ever received a cent they supposedly earned? It's shameful how people struggling to make ends meet are deceived, thinking they can earn a little money for survival, falling victim to these scams. It's a disgrace that Google, with its wealthy executives, uses such fraudulent ads to further enrich themselves while the less fortunate spend even the minimal sums they have, believing they can earn small amounts of money, when in reality, they are falling for scams perpetrated by companies like Google, which continue to amass their wealth through these deceptions every day

I used safecart.com, was charged for extra services other than originally requested 6 months ago. Called immediately and they reversed charges while I also requested zero automatic renewals. Just got an email now and they are charging me $29.97. Not good business practices here.

I love Google!
April 29, 2014

I love Google! Best Search Engine for anything you may need. Don't like Bing, because it looks too basic and Yahoo is just weird. Yes, I'm a guy and images of porn are not an issue for me, but it's still disturbing for these images to crop up at random times for random searches.

In today's world you would hope things would be easier and great customer service. Impossible to contact a real person, numbers posted non working... and the mini nest is a joke. To be blunt stupid, along with anything thing you might rely on don't do it. It's a child's toy no support just lame evasive responds from device. I just laugh at it now
If anyone had a real effective solution pass it forward.

Time to get ripped off
January 14, 2018

My question is how in heck do you get away with ripping off people? I said ok to a fee of $2.95 which appeared two times on my credit card statement. I called and was assured there would be a credit of 2.95. Never happened. To make matters worse, five days later my card was fraudulently charged $24.95. I should have read all of the negative reviews before I used this service. One star because there is no choice for a minus sign

I have probably ordered over 10 times from cottonage.com in the last 1 year and have never had any problems with any orders. Never been shipped any wrong items and orders always arrived in a timely fashion (most of the time earlier than expected).

Even their prices are relatively lower than most of the online and offline retailers, the quality they provide is absolutely better than more expensive retailers. I've just found out in my last order that cottonage.com has just started offering graphic tees and I added to my basket one order. The overall quality is so great. I will send them my own design and see the result.

I highly recommend them for their superior customer service, fast shipping and quality products.

This is my go-to search engine. Always use it. Google is connected with all the huge companies it seems - Android, YouTube, who knows what else. They're so smart and intuitive that sometimes I feel like Google just might know too much about me... slightly worrisome, but I overlook it. Although I do think someday Google may take over the world...

Dear Google. I hope you go out of business. Your products are terrible and only serve to exploit people for the financial gain of a few. There is absolutely no way to contact you. You reading a personal email from a prospective employer and somehow putting it in a hidden spam folder cost me $90,000 in lost pay and benefits as I ended up taking the same position through another lower paying contracting agency. I eventually left the job as I was slowly going broke because I never received the important time-sensitive information. Google has NO business reading the content of emails and making determinations as to where to put them. Google Sucks!

There is no support live chat so I am trying to reach someone by phone. Currently on hold for hours. I need access to my account - they locked me out due to security reasons (which I understand, but how can I get in now?). I tried their help pages but they are of NO help. Google does not care about their customers. Worst company of all, even Yahoo customer service is better. Contrary to popular belief, GOOGLE SUCKS. I know Google won't care about my review, but if at least 100 people see this, I'm satisfied.

Everyone still loves Google, but for how long? - I have loved Google since 1999. Google was friendly, well-meaning, and they had a great search product. However, more recently, Google has seemed more and more like a normal, big company. And with each new product they roll out, I feel like Google would like to take over another little part of my life. And to top it off, Google search has not really gotten much better for the past several years. Now, for health, blogs, news, and other topics, I find Google to be inferior to more specific vertical search engines. Unless Google proves me wrong in the near future, I will be looking to diversify my web service consumption elsewhere. Yahoo, anyone?

I ended up complaining to PayPal and they arranged a full refund from this organization. I have read that PayPal doesn't always do this, so I count myself fortunate. In the meantime, I notice that SafeCart is no longer on Facebook. I still marvel that they are or were able to do business in what could most kindly be described as a most unconventional way. I also wonder why there appeared not to be a specific Canadian government agency able to deal with such disgraceful corporate behaviour. Perhaps something has finally been done in the intervening time.

Good
March 16, 2022

You should make it known before you start making your resume that you'll have to pay to download it. I would've made it without the help of Resume Now had I known. I also had an issue while working on the skills section where everything written would simply disappear at random. Aside from that I like how simple and easy the resume making process was and I like the way mine came out.

I have been trying to get into my account for my youtube for 6 months. Google just keeps locking me out. Locking out your customers with no customer service or intention to help them is the worst I've seen yet. I keep trying to recover it but thanks to their genius system, I keep getting locked out. I contacted them personally for help and still nobody has helped me. What a waste of time. I have had my youtube since 2013, you would think that counts for something, but I guess they are more worried about making money than helping the people that got them where they are today... Thanks for nothing google.

What happened to the internet? Use to be a mostly honest, easy, welcoming network. No more. NOt with controlling monopolies like Google who only care about profits and maintaining their control and privacy invading grip over everyone. Needs to be broken up and thrown the wind. The sooner the better. Nothing is free with Google any more, they just want to get your money. They have ruined countless good companies after taking the over such as Skype, which is now a hacked-by them-medium, not safe to use, nor reliable.
