Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.
Ordered through GH. Order cancelled 38 minutes before delivery on a Friday night.
Reason: Not in delivery area. Spoke to restaurant, 4.4 miles away and they told me they had complained to GH not to include my zip for their restaurant. I know Dominos will be great, but nearly a hundred dollar order down the tube and they don't refund for three to five biz days. I won't use them again.
I ordered through grub hub one time. Took 2 hours for my food to show up. I was on chat with grub hub trying to cancel my order when the food finally showed up. I was told by the rep she was going to apply a credit to my account. That never happened. I will not order from grub hub again. I would rather just throw a frozen pizza in the oven. It won't be good, but at least I know when I'll get it.

Grubhub is the WORST! So many times I've ordered through them and then they cancel my order... AN HOUR later. Really!?! I've deleted the app and will NEVER use them. Too many better options. Actually, my daughter drives for another company and has gotten to a restaurant where a GrubHub order had been sitting on the counter for 90 mins! They blow!
I ordered from a restaurant through Grubhub. The price listed on Grubhub is more expensive than the menu price already and there are already delivery fees/service fees etc. so the default tipping (20%) means I need to pay double for the meal than I go to the restaurant. So I decided to only tip 5%. Then, the delivery takes 2 hours. Literally enough time for me to walk there and get the food back. Avoid Grubhub as it is really not worth it.
If I could do -5 stars I would they are horrible? Who runs their customer service?! First time they assigned a driver to my food and then someone else ordered wings after my food was ready. Being that this is an African restaurant wings take 30-45 mins. Mind you my food was already ready at this point. This app re assigned the same driver for my food to sit and wait the extra 45 mins I was so mad! This was the actual second incident so I reached out to customer service they were so rude! Now tonight the restaurant actually called me to tell me my food has been ready for a long time and they haven't even assigned a driver. I am a regular. I reached out to them to cancel the order. They refused! I had proof that they were in the wrong still they said NO. The restaurant closes at midnight my food was supposed to be here by 11:35-11:45... it's 12:05 presently and I STILL have no food. This is for sure my last time using this app!
We ordered for a business lunch, after they took our money we got an email stating they can not deliver the food and they will credit our money back but it could take up to 5 business days. That is very bad business and should have been made aware up front they do not deliver from the restaurant anymore.
At first we thought they were very accommodating. However, as soon as we needed to add items to our online menu we started having issues. They make it extremely hard to have anything resolved. There is no one person to speak to when you have a problem so you end up getting bounced around from representative to representative. And when you think you're finally speaking to a manager they tell you "I'll have to transfer you to my manager." WHAT?! It's just insane. When finally I realized they were not going to fix the issues I have I told them I wanted to cancel my company's account, they were delighted. Unbelievable. Stay away from GrubHub. There are so many other companies out there.
I rarely ever give reviews of anything but Grubhub really needs to be put out of business as they are unable to deliver on their promise. I am a cook and the final 3rd time I used Grubhub, they were late, unapologetic and full of blame the customer. Look the food delivery business is hard but if that's your core mission and you can't execute, don't expect to stay in business very long
After 45 min past order delivery, I call restaurant only to find my food has been sitting and no driver on the way!
I then go pick it up and got home and couldn't eat it. It was soggy from sitting. I reached out to grub hub for refund and sent pic of soggy food. They gave me 11 credit against a 36 dollar order. Never again! Never!
Ordered $50 worth of food and never came. Customer service claimed the driver called but he/she didnt. No refund but I did get a $20 off coupon. Called the restaurant to pick up my order since I did pay for it, but they said it was delivered. So the driver got free food and a $9 tip. Never again...
I live in CT and visit family in NYC about every two weeks.The last two weekends, I have placed orders through GrubHub that were both over an hour late, couldn't find or get in contact with my driver, and then refused to refund the delivery fee. In CT, I have not had such poor experiences but this is the first time I realized how terrible their customer service policies really are. Needless to say, will likely stop using the platform altogether, if not selectively based on the city I am in. They really need to tighten up operations and be careful of the drivers they are hiring. Totally irresponsible and unprofessional.
Ordered through grubhub, the delivery window jumped to an added 30 about 10 minutes after the initial delivery window. Prior to that my call to the restaurant was answered by a message that their voicemail was not set up. My order was an exact copy of one of the prior week but this time, ice cold (January 17,2010). I hoped I would still enjoy it. However, one dish had an added tablespoon of salt which burned my mouth aside from unpleasant taste. The second item was swimming in pooled oil. I contacted grubhub the only way they allow (no chat, no calls) and explained the above via a dialog box, asking for a refund to my credit card. Zero response, zero credit to my card. Minus 10 stars is my rating.
My dinner was delivered to the wrong address. I used the chat feature and the online person asked if I tracked down my dinner. I asked, "Why should I track it when I'm paying your fees." Out of an approximate $52.00 order they refunded a little over $13.00 for the driver tip fee. If anyone spots a cayote with a bucket of chicken in its mouth, please try to get a picture. I'd love to see it. Maybe he/she enjoyed my chicken.
I ordered from grub hub and my order ended up being cancelled due to weather. I was told to call grub hub and let them know what had happened to receive my refund of $25. Two weeks later and I STILL do not have my refund. I've called 3 times now and they keep insisting to talk with my bank. I am a member of Chase bank which is a very reliable bank. I know they're just trying to scam me and throw me for a loop and I will NEVER use grub hub again in my life, that's a promise.
I really should have read the reviews first before I placed my order. Thank goodness I opted to pay with cash instead. Order did not arrive by estimated time and I had to request for an update on it. It then proceeded to take more than half an hour to arrive. I used to order from this restaurant on grubhub and it would take them around 40-50 mins max from time of placing my order to arrive. I'm suspecting that they only placed my order after I asked for a status update on it. At least I got my order in the end unlike so many others.
Worse service ever! My order was sitting at the restaurant for over 1 and a half and they could not give me a time when the driver could pick it up. They would not offer a refund. Never ordering from this place again! Get your act together Grubhub. Hire more drivers to get the job done! Ice ever! Wish I would have checked out BBB and this site - look at all your bad reviews. Get a clue and fix your business model.
Thought I'd read some reviews while I waited for my painfully overdue delivery. Appears I too have been robbed by GrubHub in Atlanta. Amazing how far VC money and a TV ad budget can take some criminal, wanna be, entrepreneurs. I guess Amazon will have to take over this service too.
I waited over 2.5 hours and still did not receive my food, finally called and canceled the order. This was not a fluke, since it happened 3 times in a row within a few weeks. This company will go belly-up very soon.
Don't order from here. They took about 40 dollars off my card when I ordered and they was dead wrong for that. I wouldnt recommend ordering from them ever again. These people are sick, filthy, and ratchet, stealing liars then want to lie and say no this never happened. My food costed $23 then to check on my card it costed 60 dollars. I tried refunding it and they said they was going to refund me $13. That right there just ruined my day. Grubhub sucks.
I have tried to use them 3 times and every order was canceled because the restaurants never agreed to work with Grubhub but they still keep putting the restaurants on their website without their permission. Grubhub is very shady so stay away.
Just to add to the other reviews I should have read before using this horrible delivery service. Over 2 hours later and no food! Been on hold for over 20 minutes and chatting with their customer service with no resolution
Had a baby in January. Cancelled our account, deleted the app. They continued to charge us. They refuse to give us a refund, because of their apps malfunction. We haven't ordered since Jan, and we will never order again. I recommend ubereats.
Dare you to try it and see for yourself or you could try Uber Eats and be happy. I'd probably tried this service because I got a coupon for $10 off and throughout the whole process they just added extra fees which equaled more than 15$. On top of that they have a spot for tipping the driver and I put 0$ so that I could pay them in cash and as I pushed the process my order button they automatically added on the tip without my consent. So they're basically thieves as well.
I ordered from Foot Prints in Bklyn NY. Took almost two hours for delivery. The food was horrible. I paid over $100. No one took responsibility or tried to address my issue. I'll never order through grub hub or Foot Prints again.
I got a promo code for $7 off for first time user. But it didn't work. Talked with a customer service person for 30 mins but was not helpful at all. Total waste of time and this seems to be a total scam. Do not order from this site!
