Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.
I ordered from California Pizza It was delicious but cold. I called because my order was an hour and a half late and the lady apologized and said she would send us a 10 dollar coupon that never came. If you like cold food and feeling hangry I guess GrubHub is the place for you. Awful first time experience.
I placed an order 4 hrs in advance to ensure there would be no issues. Of course I get the driver is running 45 minutes late 15 before the delivery time. After 2 more I'm running late I call Custer service who said yeah I'm sorry would you like to cancel the ordet... Stay far away- the service is a scam, they can take on as many deliveries as they like with no recourse to their actions.
The delivery people don't follow instructions and leave orders where anyone can grab it refuses to take elevator to bring to the door. The food is constantly wrong. The refunds take an eternity. I got bc I have Prime. Not worth it! Deleting this app ASAP
I ordered through Yelp Eat24 back in September. After waiting an hour and a half, I found out the restaurant never received my order. My card was charged. Over a month and a half later, I'm still waiting for a reimbursement. I've been in contact with Yelp and my bank roughly 7 times about this. I just want my money back - so frustrating!
Ordered at 4 received at 6. Grubhub is giving respectable family restaurants a bad reputation. Of course the food was stale and cold. I demanded a refund and they refused Jorge B said he was the highest manager. Jorge? Really? The highest? Thanks for turning my birthday meal into a complete hangry family reunion. Restaurant managers do not use.
I ordered at 10:35 and given an estimated time of 1141 1151 and then when i checked back they had added another hour to my delivery. They told me they tried to contact driver and could contact driver. Two hours to wait is really ridiculous and the only offer was a ten dollars. Never again. Ubereats for now on

Unfortunatelly, you can't do either of these things, so I just deleted my data and will leave review here. Also, I will monitor the execution of a refund of my last order that was not delivered at all, and I will report it as fraud if they will not refund.
Most prominent and consistent issues over 5 orders:
1) Delivery time is too long
2) Food temperature is barely acceptable
3) The last order was not delivered at all because of the lazy/dyslexic driver.
4) Customer service first tries to accuse the customer for problems, even though customer pays premium.
So thanks, but no thanks!

I signed up for free delivery with GrubHub during the early part of the pandemic. I tried to tip 30 or 40% to help out GrubHub employees that had lost jobs and now have to deliver food. Over the last few months, orders have been delivered to the wrong address, some took over an hour to receive and the food arrived cold, Most recently, GrubHub has been canceling the orders. My most recent order arrived over 70 minutes late and cold, and that was the final straw with GrubHub. I complained and they sent me a $10 coupon. I deleted the email. Also, why is there an additional service fee if I'm paying $9.99 a month for free delivery? From here on out, I will only order from restaurants that handle their own delivery. Better to pay them a little more than go through the BS with GrubHub.
I've seen tons of cheap (unappreciative) people. To us grub hub offer good service. However their drivers get low pay most of the time. Come on people, I'd get up go pick up the food if I don't wanna pay for the services.
My driver (Christopher) decided to open up my package and ate my food leaving 3 small pieces in the bottom. Grubhub needs to address this. It's unsanitary and just plain gross that his fingers were all over my food. Just threw it out.
Wish I could put 0 stars. Did not receive order and waited an hour to get food. GrubHub could not "get in contact with driver" to solve the problem and only offered refund without option to receive order again without going through the whole order process. Really disappointed with the lack of competence. Called to inquire about the order and they hung up on me.
I will never use a service that is run by a guy who threatens his employees if they disagree with his political views. You said that 20% of your employees thanked you? What about the other 80%? What about the 2% that fear losing their jobs because they had a Trump sign in their yard? You sir are not a hero of the people but a bully.
So we ordered dinner last night through Grubhub here in Dallas. The guy was over 30 minutes late with our food (total time since ordering - 1.5 hours), blamed the restaurant, and he forgot the pizza, which was the main thing we ordered. My wife had to run down the street to flag him down. Then he asked her if our pizza was the one "with green stuff" on it? (yes dude - spinach). So he digs around in the back of his car and hands her a pizza box. The box is cold - we open it - pizza is colder than room temp. SO this dude was basically driving around for who knows how long with our pizza when we live 1.5 miles from the restaurant. (we now know we should have just gone and picked it up ourselves - but wife wanted to try out the whole grubhub thing)
Moral of the story - it wasn't the restaurant, it was grubhub. They did not charge us for the cold pizza and cold pasta.
We then went to Wendy's and got burgers.
Do not, I repeat do not order from Yelps Eat24. I ordered lunch for my office today, excited about some Pho. I ordered, money came out of my account (pending but it's the same thing, unusable money) and the order never went through. I called the Pho place and he didn't see my order and what's worse is they don't even do businnes with Yelp or Eat24. I called Yelp who gave me Eat24's # and you might as well cut your loses because the customer service is just $#*!! I would give a negative star if I could. This was my first and only time using Yelp Eat24 to order food. Garbage!
I am extremely disappointed in the (dis)service I received today from GH. Food took almost 2 hours. Called 3 times and 2 of those times was left on hold for 10 min. The last call I asked for a manager and nothing. I won't be ordering from GH again, and I will be posting this review in other pages. Terrible service and disregard for customers.
If I could negative rate Grubhub! I think they don't do the background check for their drivers!
It's scary!
Today, my order was delayed more than 2hrs, so I was upset. When the driver delivered my order I did shut the door little harder. He stayed tried to open my door and was swearing out side my house. I was quick enough to lock my door, I'm not sure what would have happened!

Door dash and ubereats are a thousand times better, a thousand times more reliable, with 10 times the features. GrubHub takes a cut of the restaurants money charges you then tells you to call the restaurant if you have a problem. There's no cancellations and they lie about the delivery time on every single order by almost double. They deserve to be blacklisted and to go out of business because they suck worse than any company in their space
Ordered a meal for my family because we have a newborn here. Everything is going fine and then the driver texts me fifteen minutes before my food is set to arrive to say that the restaurant "doesn't want to participate with grub hub anymore." I ask if I can just pick up my order, they say the restaurant wouldn't even process it. I contact GH customer service, and I'm told I'll get the refund. That's fine, but the bare minimum. Now I have starving kids and have to reorder my food and it won't arrive for an hour. I ask the agent about a credit or a discount and I'm told that isn't something they do. Horrible service all around.
I'm so pissed they steal your money and didn't refund me, my food never arrived. They are thieves I feel like. I called them and the the best they would do is give me a 50% off next order. I swear they need to be sued.
We've ordered three times - first time was fine. Second time it was "delayed" and food was cold. Right now it has been delayed again. Over 20 minutes since last estimated delivery time. Ice cold again? Never using them again. Disappointed is the least I can say.
This is for a Virginia location. If a restaurant is going to take up to 90 minutes to deliver the food then they shouldn't advertise as a delivery option. The service person at Grubhub was great, she determined that the wait time had been adjusted to an hour and spent a very long time on hold with the restaurant trying to cancel the order when I said that was just too long. The restaurant (Chili's in Reston) left her on hold for at least 10 minutes. I will not be using either services again.
They have charged my card fraudulently over 100 dollars for memberships and deliveries that I never signed up or used. When told about the fraud they refuse to stop the charges or refund me. A membership is a reoccurring charge so even if you cancel your card and get a new one it will
Still go through your bank. This is how they get around it and keep the fraud charges coming.
Waited two hours for dinner for my family which was placed in the time the restaurant was open! To wait two hours to get told your order has been canceled and refunded. OK yeah thanks for the refund but now my kids are hungry and everything is closed! Waiting on this damn food that never came! It's extremely upsetting and more upsetting that there customer care "chat" person can give two $#*!s if your family goes hungry. Never using Grubhub AGAIN! Awful! And this is not the first time!
I ordered delivery from a local restaurant. First, the estimated delivery time increases more than 30 minutes as the original delivery time came closer. When I was able to track the delivery drivers whereabouts I noticed that he made 2 more deliveries before he finally approached my destination. When he arrived, he dropped the food on my driveway. When I asked him about the incident, the driver responded: I don‘t take your $#*!. Then he picked up the mess and drove away without any explanation. Took me a while to find a way to contact Grubhub about the incident as the app only showed that the food had been delivered without any options to comment. When I finally was able to find a phone number to call, the person on the phone was professional. Anyway, based on this experience, I will not use Grubhub ever again.
I ordered food from this. Company and I only live 20 minutes from the restaurant. I'm home sick and hadn't eaten all day. I ordered at 3:44 pm. At. 4:30 I called the bus and they said my order was sitting on the counter. After 2 drivers and an hour and a half I get soggy cold chicken a dried out biscuit. I'll never use them again. My meal was $10 but I paid $21 to get it. Not worth it.
