“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

Telling people who are trump supporters to resign is a questionable tactic for a company which such low ratings to begin with. Hopefully all trump supporters will boycott your business and put you out of business.

The customer service is horrendous and does not do anything at all to help the customer. Everytime I call for a problem its always, theres nothing we can do. I will be deleting thebgrbhub app and using doordash from now on

We've had one instance where we ordered food and they inexplicably cancelled it. This time, we waited for two hours and nobody showed up and when we contacted them, the restaurant was already closed. The driver hadn't even left the restaurant. We told him forget it and got our money back. Ended up just putting a pizza in the oven. I think we're done with them.

We ordered dinner and 2 hours and 3 phone calls later we found that the resturant didn't even get our order. Then grub hub said sorry here is a 5 dollar coupon for next time. There will never be a next time. Do not ruin your family dinner. Do not use grub hub. We will be telling everyone we know about this horrible experience. I wish I could give zero stars.

It took an hour and a half to get my food and the delivery charge was a bit pricey. I now have a 1.00 charge that is extra on my bank account and I'm not sure why. I know it's only 1.00 but you would think that I would get some kind of warning or authorization for that?

Our first time using Grubhub and it was a huge disappointment. Half our order was missing and instead of making it right and bringing us the items we ordered and did not get they said they would refund us what we paid for those items and to watch for it in five days. Totally unacceptable, extremely poor service.

How could the grubhub driver bring my food to the wrong apartment room twice? I feel sorry for the restaurant... They did the right thing... The quality of the service of grubhub is unreliable... I won't use it again.

I ordered from a restaurant. It took 20 minutes for me to get a confirmation email. Same email said the meal will arrive 20 minutes later of course. When I called grubhub they could not care less and said it is the restaurant fault and claimed they can't know... Even though it was written in front of her. When I tried to explain or speak to a supervisor I was hung up on.

I've had multiple issues with not delivering my food because Grubhub sent the wrong address. The drivers are super rude and half of the time even when it's the right address they don't show up to the right place. Just got yelled at by a driver to hurry up and come get my food and when I said he wasn't at my house he argued with me and told me to call Grubhub then bc he went to the one they gave him. If your order is missing items they'll tell you you got a refund for those items but you'll never see it. After all the issues I've had you'd think they'd offer a coupon or something to make up for it but no. Honestly doordash is 1000% times better and if there's a problem with your order they take it upon themselves to call you before you even need to call them so I won't ever be using Grubhub again

Ordered food, got order confirmation text message, driver showed up the pick up the food and restaurant had no idea about my order. The driver called me and started giving me a hard time, are you kidding me? No food, no apology, and they get to keep my money for five days

I've given this company enough chances. Each time I order from Yard House, which is less than a mile from my apartment, it takes longer for the delivery than for the actual food prep from the restaurant.
Not worth the money if the food arrives cold.

According to tech support, when the driver arrived, the restaurant was close. So instead of letting customer service know, the driver elected to mark food as delivered. So here I am looking for my food (what a waste of time!). I chatted with tech support and asked me if maybe the driver left the food somewhere in the office (really!). Your system does not show the food was never picked up? Here is a suggestion, there should be a button that allows the driver to specify the food is not picked up therefore cannot be delivered. I want my commission on this feature. Or allow the driver to specify why they cannot deliver the food of if they have any other issues.

My order was picked up in time, but arrived over an hour later after pick up. The order arrived a total of 1.25 hours late. It wasn't even the slightest bit warm, when it finally arrived! I called for a refund, and was offered a 20% discount off a future order? Nice way to hope you can still make money off me. I have deleted my account, removed the app, and will no longer be using them. This is not the first time I've had issues with their services. I've had orders cancelled with no explanation, until I call. I've even had no answers as why my order was cancelled, when I have called. Most drivers have been great, but this is the last straw for me.

I waited almost 2 hrs for my order which said it was confirmed & even gave me a confirmation number. When I finally called the restaurant, they said they had no record of my order. I instantly called Grubhub. They apologized & even had the nerve 2 say they would send me some "coupons " for my next order through them. I told them to not email me anything! I will never order through them again because this was not the 1st time this has happened! Grubhub sucks & isn't trust worthy at all. Beware if you order through them!

The first time I used Grub hub, the driver said my order was at the door. It wasn't. I attempted to contact the driver who didn't answer his phone or text. I called customer service who refunded my money. Later, an hour later, my neighbor came by and had my meal, which I threw away. I remembered a couple of months ago my neighbors ordered from the same restaurant using Grub hub and they left it at my door. Unfortunately I didn't see it until the next day. I won't use them again.

I ordered from Crown Fried Chicken and Pizza located on 790 New Lots in Brooklyn. The restaurant did not include all the items I ordered. Upon contacting the restaurant to complain I was told to take it up with Grub Hub. I contacted Grub Hub and received the most deplorable service. Not only was their customer service horrible but they completely sided with the restaurant. The food was also horrible, it was like eating paper. I will never use these two businesses again and I will be deleting the app from my phone. Also the customer service rep at Grub Hub put her personal feelings ahead of trying to satisfy the customer and did not deliver on any of her false promises - evidence of the inability to provide anything close to customer service.

We waited an hour and half only to have order cancelled. Your company should have told us WAY in advance that you did not have a driver. Hwy 55 provided our order promptly and I hope you have reimbursed them for the lost food. Either provide the services you offer or stop advertising that you can! And 20% promo code is an insult!

The driver reported my food delivered but never even so much as came to my door. Normally they leave a picture when they leave your food at the door and text you but none of this happened because the driver stole my food. Grub hub refunded the order which I will see in 5-7 business days. How is this a resolution to your driver stealing the food my grandchildren just waited 45 minutes for? My grandchildren are not hungry in 5-7 business days they are hungry now. I WAS a loyal customer with a Grub+ monthly membership, that will now change. I will drive and pick up my own food before let your thieving drivers pull this on me again.

Customer service is terrible. First call for assistance told to clear browser and cookies and that there was no issue,, sale should go thru. Did that and order still wouldn't go through. Called restaurant directly. No issues on their end. Just wanted to use a gift card I received but order has to be placed thru grubhub to use. Called customer service again after installing app and it not working. They were no help, contradicted what I was told in first call. Supervisor was no help either. And of course they won't help place the order. Their suggestion was to order from a different restaurant to see if it would work. An hour and 20 minutes later my husband suggested a different restaurant. Not what I wanted for dinner, but it used up the gift card. The actual driver was nice, however. I hope I never get another grubhub gift card because I will never order thru grubhub again. I would give them 0 stars if that were an option.

My first experience and the worst nightmare! I placed an order from KFC. Try to cancel it when I saw the expensive price of the delivery service. They didn't cancel it and sent it. The driver was disrespectful leaving the order(food) on the entrance of the door. She didn't even knock the door. I knew about the delivery because of a message and was surprised to open the door and found it on the floor. I won't recommend anybody to use the services of this company. I rate them with 0 or F. Beware of this kind of services.

Ordered a meal online and confirmed the order. I find out 45 minutes later the restaurant is CLOSED! I called grub hub and was put on hold for 5 minutes. They come back and say sorry no one is answering. We will cancel your order. THATS IT! REALLY! Customer care team needs to reevaluate their training in order to add actual customer care!

We waited 2 hours for our food. When we finally received it, two items were wrong and one item missing. I called grubhub customer service and they were not helpful. Ronald told me to call the restaurant myself and try to get a refund for the missing item and the two incorrect items. I told him I ordered thru grubhub and not the restaurant. I paid grubhub $6.99 for their service. He refused to correct my total and told me again to call the restaurant. I am in shock at the stupidity of their customer service representatives. What a joke this service is, beware, go online and read reviews before you use this service.

Horrible service your better off going and picking up your order you will save time and money. Horrible customer service. Never received a confirmation of my order but my credit card was processed immediately. Called Grubhub and it took the agent 30 minutes to locate my order after repeating herself several times stating that my order was not placed and that it never went through. Horrible service will not use grubhub again.

I would give them a zero if I could. For the last year, I have received text messages from customers that order through Grubhub and are given my cell number to text the driver if need be. I have called Grubhub customer service several times to report and they can not find anything with my cell numb or the customer that order cell number. This is poor customer service and I feel for the customers waiting for their food that are given the wrong information. Nice job Grubhub! It surely explains your poor star rating.

I placed a large order for a company event. They called 20 minutes before the event to let us know that the order was cancelled due to an error with their system. We asked if they called the order in, and they said the restaurant was not picking up the phone. We called and they picked up on the 1st ring!
Not acceptable. First and last time using this service!
