“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

Ordered thru Grubhub online 2 hours ago' food never arrived yet computer status stated food delivered. Called Grubhub directly, stated concern & asked for the delivery to be completed. Transferred me to delivery driver who's female, VERY RUDE, disrespectful & a liar; claimed she waited 20 minutes & no one answered door. When I told disputed & asked her to deliver food -she stated she did not HAVE to deliver it & I was not entitled to a refund. I called the company, 10 minutes later manager finally took the call & after explaining everything they seemed unbothered by her behavior & stated I should receive a refund of my $50 debited payment in five days. I asked the delivery-girl not to come to my home to prevent future problems. I will NEVER order Grubhub again due to this. They hire lying, unprofessional, rude, belligerent delivery people and don't care about customer service after the fact.

GrubHub is totally incompetent and unreliable. I had a coupon for $10.00 off, and they suddenly decided not to accept my credit card. You can only use a coupon if you pay with a credit card. They said that my bank tells them that my zipcode is incorrect. I haven't moved, my zipcode hasn't changed. Grub Hub had taken this credit card in the past, but all of the sudden when I have 10 dollars off my zip code is wrong. Pretty convenient. I will never use them again and I strongly advise everyone not to.

No Pizzas... HOW?
You order from a Pizza place and they forget the PIZZA?
Wings cold, Shakes defrosted milk
So Nil Point... sorry guys do some thing else...Hairdressing maybe

Not only does this app suck for customers, but it is also horrible for restaurant employees. The notification ringer is so quiet that no one hears a new order. Not only that, but Grubhub decides how long the food will take to be ready without informing the business. How is Grubhub still running?! Horrible

Now that I've come here the seemingly only place to leave a review about Grubhub I can see why I had the worst experience EVER! Driver NEVER showed I stood outside waiting. There's no number to reach support immediately. They listed a random email instead on my own I signed up through apple
There was no way for me to contact the driver
Driver marked order delivered while being a mile away
Overall horrified by this experience. All they offered was a refund and a $10 off coupon.
Disgraceful

Ordered from grubhub all around the united states... even if the restaurant is near you, even if it's only a sandwich, it'll take at least an hour to get to you. Unfortunately, it's hard to find restaurant that deliver late quickly when you get in a new town. Still hoping for a better alternative.

The order tracker moves ever so slowly and almost gets to the end, but alas, after almost 2 hours of waiting, they suddenly cancel your order - even though you just chatted with customer service and they told you you could keep waiting as they had no information of issues. So pointless to contact them.

If you pay online and there is a problem with your order, like the restaurant is out of something, then you must cancel through eat24, the restaurant wont or cant do anything because they didn't charge the card. This makes extra steps and takes much more time than just calling the restaurant and dealing with them, this way you know if there out of something before you pay...

I would advise anybody if you see a grubhub logo for a restaurant, don't order from there.
I just ordered. They say the food was delivered. To where I ask.
They don't tried to call the driver got voice mail. They refunded my money and canceled the order.

The worst company to deal with!

A restaurant came up as one that delivers to my area. My co-workers and I set up the account so we could each pay for our own. Once I went to finalize and place the order it said I am outside of the delivery area. I made numerous attempts to get the money refunded to my co-workers and they are making it hard. To me that is theft!

I order from Grubhub very many times throughout the year. Last night, I called the restaurant I ordered my food from twice after waiting for an hour and no one answered either call. I then called grubhub and the lady on the other line was very helpful and told me should would try calling another number they had for the place and get right back to me. Just 2 minutes later, she called me back and told me that she couldn't get an answer either, so she was going to refund my money and send me $15 off my next order. She apologized multiple times for the inconvenience (when it obviously was not any fault of her own), but I genuinely appreciated the kindness. I definitely don't blame Grubhub for this issue and so I greatly appreciate the fact that they were kind enough to send me that free discount. I will definitely be continuing to use Grubhub for my future orders.

We ordered from a local family owned restaurant. They called me to tell me the food was ready but grubhub didn't show up. In the future I will order from Doordash or Ubereats. With that I will say Tom's in Beaverton is awesome.

Waited 90 min for a pizza and it got cancelled after the 90min wait.

Ordered another Chinese food place using the coupon they gave after randomly cancelling my order, and you just see the driver driving in opposite direction and still no order...

The worst possible food delivery service. I put in my order at 4:40 PM and then just kept receiving texts saying that it'll come at 6:35 PM. That is two whole hours? I will be paying for old and cold food so I called the restaurant to confirm and the restaurant has my order. I then called into Grubhub to complain about my situation and all they did was cancel my order aka I waited for over an hour for no reason. However, they did give me a 25% discount off my next order and being the stupid person that I am, I decided to give them a second chance. Guess what? The same exact situation happened.

Strike two. That does it for me. First, a couple of months ago, I ordered something and literally 30 seconds later tried to cancel it. They kept me on their chat for minutes and then calimed it was too late. There was no easy way to do it or any way really.
This time, they cancel my order twenty minutes after I place it!
I ordered for some guests and they arrived to no food because of stupid Grub Hub.

Just go directly to Uber Eats.

3 orders in a row. None of them arrived problem-free, and there customer service is non-existent. The online help button just spins and spins and spins, and the woman I am currently on the phone with about my 2-hours late order is actively rude.

For the second day in a raw, I got my food almost after one hour and 45 min.

*cold food
*missing items
*not even an apology for the delay

I will never never use them and will never recommend it to anyone. Stay away.

Every time I order, I write specific instructions as to where I want the order delivered. They never get it right and leave the food at the front house or just take it with them. Additionally, almost every driver speaks or reads no English.

Always very late And at least twice it look like some of my food was already eaten and I was able to get a refund on both occasions but still gross the lateness I could deal with people putting their hands inside my food no thank you

The driver wasn't able to brought our food in right location. The app give a wrong address when I choose the current location. I even put the hotel I was in, but then they just ignore and pointing the fault on us. I ended up waiting for 1 hr for nothing they said its refunded but it says in the app delivered refunded 0.22 cents. Their service is so ridiculous.

They said it would be 30 minutes then added 15 minutes (no big deal) then message saying the order was cancelled. If I knew this was going to be so hard to fulfill I would have drove myself or went to bed instead of waiting 45 minutes to be told they couldnt pick up my order!

We received a gift card as a part of a meal train after the death of my father. We tried using the card to place an order. The system required a credit card and then automatically charged the credit card instead of the gift card. After attempting a live chat with an agent and supervisor (Daniel M), they refused to reprocess the payment.

Tip for consumers:
Don’t buy gift cards to Grub Hub!!!

Tried to use this app last week while on vacation in Las Vegas. Tracker told me my order was delivered only it wasn't. The driver told me it "wasn't her problem" and hung up on me. Really? Whose problem was it? Mine? No. I contacted grubhub directly and asked for a refund and was told they don't do that and could only give me a discount code even though I live in small town Idaho where Grubhub doesn't even exist, not that I'd use it again anyway. I just think a refund for a pretty expensive order that was never delivered should be an option and it's bs that it's not and that I was treated so rudely by the driver. Denise in Las Vegas should look for a different job. Awful experience.

I have used grubhub since it came to be. What is the point of having any customer service if no changes can be made? I was unable to change or cancel my order. I put that I wanted my food 2 hours later and I actually wanted it asap. I called the restaurant and they already made my food so it is still sitting there cold because I couldn't change the delivery time. I couldn't cancel and reorder no one on the phone could help me with getting the order picked up. I will absolutely NEVER be using grubhub again. Such a simple issue and there is nothing they can do. Ridiculous

Terrible! Ordered once. My order was 23 minutes late and food was cold. Contacted customer service to figure out where my driver was, after not receiving a response myself. They gave me 5 dollars off my next order for the inconvenience, however contacted the driver and apparently withheld her tip. When she arrived she was angry with me and when I tried to talk to her, she kept walking and starting yelling about how badly the company treats drivers and how they give them 3 or 4 orders at a time and then withhold tips when they're late. I contacted customer service again and told them what happened and asked for a refund. They tried to offer another 5 dollar off coupon and I told them that I would not be using grubhub again and they finally agreed to refund my order, but kept the tip, which the driver probably never recieved. Will never use grubhub again.
