Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.
Terrible experience. I even bought into their Plus membership, hoping that would fix the issues I constantly had with them. But every order I've made has required support. Most end up canceled after they tell me just to wait. The record, is I believe, making me wait two hours and urging me not to order something else, until after all nearby restaurants closed, and they canceled on me instead. Many of the cancellations come after use of "perk" discounts to make up for previous poor service. Absolutely do not waste your time or money on this company!
They left out the main dish on my order. The delivery driver asked about it at pick up and grub hub told him to deliver it and have me call after delivery! Refunded only missing item. I had to go out myself for the food.

Ridiculous. Grubhub gives you directions for how to cancel your account but those instruction's stymie your attempt immediately by putting up an ad for membership. Never saw the promised "cancel button", did find something that will remove my info "in 45 days", nothing ever said "account cancelled".
Placed order for 2 subs which took them 2 hrs to deliver. When I complained they gave me free delivery for 60 days. Great, or so I thought. Now it seems that our address has been flagged as both my wife and I get "No stores open near you" message. Needless to say I cannot take advantage of their "generous" offer.
After confirming, a week in advance, that they could deliver a special Christmas eve dinner for our elderly parents (89 and 95), Grubhub canceled our order without providing any explanation. Their notification arrived less than four hours before the meal was supposed to be delivered. Inexcusable!
Failed to deliver one of two entrees. App offers no way to correct. Auto-refunded without any notice at less than the price of the entree with explanation "menu error" which you can only find after doing some digging. Cable and phone companies look like service gods compared to these guys.
Never order anything that is delivered by Grubhub! I've done it twice and got very very sick both times! I thought it was a fluke, but after the second time, no I'm good! They must spit in the food! Always check to see if the restaurant has their own delivery service!
1 out of 3 items missing, driver wont pick up his phone 60 secs after leaving, restaurant wont do $#*! to help. Eat24 employees want to give me back 5$ for the missing item. Yea like that solves my hunger issues. $#*!ing $#*!s
Just got bait and switched by eat24. Never using their service again. They promised a coupon and then pulled it back. Don't use this site; better to order directly from the restaurant than this shady business.
I think these people actually piss on your food, because something doesn't taste quite right. Stay away from GrubHub unless you are willing to have the worst experience of your life and pay an exorbitant price for it.
They have you make food then once delivered they cancel order.
GrubHub Is a scam
Every week at least 10 cancelled orders after delivery of goods which the restaurant loses it profit.
Not to include deposits take a week for each day even with direct deposit.
Big scam company!
Ordered from a restaurant less than 4 miles down the road. ETA changed several times, after 35 minutes contacted customer service and was told they didn't have a driver in my area... I could continue to wait or get a refund... time wasted... never will I order again...
I do not patronize companies with intolerant CEOs who threaten employees livelihoods just because they hold different political opinions. Boycotting this company. And I don't think I'll be the only one.
CEO has broken the law by threatening the employment of anyone who doesn't support Hillary's socialistic, communistic agenda. His intolerant, hateful speech should get him fired because he has alienated more than half the country against this business. Way to go, idiot!
Overall Grubhub rating taken from 3k plus people is near 1.5 stars, grubhub drivers gripe about work experiences and tip shortages, and customers are happy 50% of the time. Well pandemic ensues and in the rear slides Grubhub with its hidden (not broken out like other costs) fees for operations cost? COME ON MAN! Your operations fee is more expensive than sales tax + 10% tip.
I bet if we start leaving 0% tip to compensate for our loss we'd (a) have spit in our food (b) force drivers to find new employment and Grubhub loose its workforce of hard working people. The rich always get richer as they say.
I have repeatedly had overwhelmingly awful experiences with Grubhub. The drivers pick up multiple orders at once so my wait time becomes almost 2 hours long, my food is always cold and nasty, and the drivers are incredibly unprofessional. Their customer service operates off one brain cell. I will only ever use Doordarsh now.
About 90% of my orders through GH have issues. Today, I placed an order that kept getting delayed. Two hours after the order was placed, they finally cancelled it with no explanation and to make matters worse, my refund won't be processed for three to five days.
Driving took 40 minutes longer then said. Food was wrong, missing sauce and was cold. Bad customer service. Went to bed hungry. Dont want to refund money. Had note that said call when outside because it was late night early morning, but driver still rang doorbell waking whole house
Just ordered dinner thru grubhub. Waited 1 hour 40 minutes (wait time was 1:15 to 1:20) then called to check on the order. Response was their delivery guy never got it. No food, and only remedy was a refund of our money. So disappointed.
I used Foodler often for a couple years but will never again. Started receiving additional charges notices from them regarding requests for "extras". Of course these notices came after the food was delivered. If you ask for anything "extra" whether it's mayo or cheese, expect to get slapped with an additional $2 plus tax charge on your credit card. Pricing for extra's should be revealed at the time of purchase! I won't order again.
I understand that during these difficult times things are not always going to go smoothly. I'm not asking for perfection. But, three of the last four orders from Grubhub have either been delayed or cancelled. Customer service chat was absolutely useless. I'm done with this delivery service, I'll stick with DoorDash from now on.
Submitted our order and could not reach a human via phone for a full half hour after our order was due to be delivered; finally reached the restaurant we ordered from who stated they would give us a 50% discount bc they've had so many problems with this site
Ridiculously unreliable and overpriced. Often will just wait an hour or more and spontaneous cancel orders - will keep the money for several days, just not deliver any food. Can rack up delivery fees of seven or eight dollars with no driver gratuity. Customer service is a joke - it's a crappy call center that doesn't have native English speakers. Makes DoorDash seem like Herman Miller in terms of customer service. Total garbage.
Ordered lunch at 12:33. Website says "order confirmed" at 12:56 (already going downhill). After 2:00 when food is still not here, I contact Grubhub. Oh, gee, something wrong with the system. The restaurant is just now preparing your food. I can give you a coupon for $10 off your next order? Wow, that's swell, considering I'll never order again. Should have read all these reviews first. What a nightmare.

I've wasted my afternoon trying to adjust an order I was placing. There is no provision for deleting an item selected nor can you start over with an empty cart. Impossible situation! I'll never try using their service again.
