I appreciate the user-friendly app interface, as well as the real-time tracking of my order and estimated delivery time. Grubhub has become an essential part of my busy lifestyle

“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

This immature ignorant man is encouraging the little brats in the streets burning our flag and destroying innocent people's personal and public property. You are inciting violence by your actions and should be held partly responsible If and when these violent rioters end up killing someone. Shame on you Matt!

Until recently I have been an ardent fan of Grubhub, often ordering multiple times per week. But that all changed when recently I placed two orders (on separate days) and neither delivery person wore a mask. I wrote to Grubhub about this, pointing out how unsafe and irresponsible this is and received a perfunctory reply that did not in any way take this seriously. Even if there is "no contact" delivery, God forbid one were to sneeze or cough on the packages. I find this lack of professionalism not only irresponsible but also pretty damn close to unforgivable given this time of high risk pandemic. I don't think Matt Maloney's (Founder and CEO) claim about safety is anything but a lot of unhelpful, misleading nonsense. I will never use Grubhub again.

Funny I used to purchase food from your organization. I must say it was good. Those days are over now cause your CEO is a real dumb $#*!! You probably won't be in business this time next year, because your CEO is $#*!ed! Trump swept the election don't you see everybody agrees. Maybe McDonald's will hire him after the business fails. Not to mention He won't get another dime out of me. Mike don't quit sucking $#*! that might be your future career!

Terrible service and rude management. Placed my order and was asked if I voted for Trump. Really strange. Do not recommend anyone to use GrubHub. Just terrible customer experience. Never using them again

Matt Mahoney has made it clear to his employees that, unless you agree with him on politics, you should find another job. This country values free speech and a plurality of opinions. I want my purchases to support business that support those principles whether I agree with their views or not.

I recommend voting with your $ as I will be. It is an excellent way to exercise your freedom of speech. I'll be using Yelp Eat 24. They've already shown they have better deals and coverage than GrubHub in my area anyway.

Regardless of where you political views lie, you should never have to worry about being fired over them. That is a low form of coercion by individuals in power. A despicable act that on one should tolerate.

Pretty sick tonight, so cannot walk to restaurants here. Apparently GrubHub.com and the App are down tonight and have been for the past couple of hours. Customer Service (thru the phone and via Live Chat) is either busy (put me on hold for several minutes) and has no idea when the App and site will be back up. They absolutely refuse to take any orders over the phone.

Worst part it, even when the site was partially back up, it refused to accept my address multiple times as a valid address. What's with that?

Have tried to use both of these sources to order more than a dozen times now. I'm a stupid sucker, obviously.

Will never try to order from this site again. Wish there were good alternatives.

First experience with Grubhub was terrible. Order took two hours to get to us even though restaurant was less than 5 miles away and arrived cold. To the restaurant's credit what we ordered was still tasty event when cold. I tried to provide the company feedback and they were not interested. And yes, they do charge you up front so you meal money is in their hands while you watch your delivery times go cuckoo.

Grubhub has been absolutely terrible and their customer service doesn't make up for it. I would highly suggest using door dash or Uber eats. There's even a new one called caviar. I don't have any of these issues with the other services and there's too much competition in my opinion to slip as much as Grubhub has. My orders have been constantly super late like tonight it's coming an hour late and I need to go to bed so won't be eating it. The other day again super late and it was cold, dried and tasted awful. Their "resolution" is here's $5. They don't care to make it write for their continued poor performance the last several times I've used them.

Grub Hub advised me a few days ago that my account had been blocked because of suspected consumer fraud. I called their customer service and the representative would not tell me why they believe I was the victim of fraud. She said she would have someone who could explain the situation call me. No one did. I followed up four days later with another rep and two managers. They told me to email their legal department to find out what happened. I did and have gotten no response. So I'm sitting here panicked about whether someone has my bank account or credit card information with no idea how to get Grub Hub to disclose whatever breach they believe occurred. I will never use this site again.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use this site.

A complete sham. They don't have links with their restaurants and don't send drivers to deliver the food that you pay for. Essentially a modern day scam. Restaurant we ordered from ended up just sending their own driver.

Pathetic. Ordered from chick fil a@ 7:32. Estimated time was 8:15-8:25. A little long for fast food, but ok. At 7:52, my order has been delayed. Now is 8:35-8:45. Wow! FAST FOOD! Yeah, ok. At 8:10 a new message. Now it's 8:55-9:05. Really? An hour & a half? No! So I go to customer service to cancel & am told my order is still on schedule for 8:25. I ask them to verify. Oh, wait... It's going to be 9:21, but here's a coupon. Seriously? "Cancel my order". Thought their incompetence would stop here, but no. I get another SMS at 9:58 (that store closes at 9:00 btw) that they just spoke with the restaurant & my order should be there about 9:25 (a half hour ago). That's followed by another SMS 3 minutes later that states they're sorry, but they had to cancel my order & to check my email for refund details. God, I'm glad I decided to try their service before investing in them. What a waste - of time, of energy, of everything really. Not anything this country needs during these times.

Worst food delivery service out there. They also treat their driver's like doo doo. One driver told me she only got paid $2.50 to deliver my food and that that's why it was cold. I don't blame the drivers if what she said is true. This company is unethical and should be boycotted

When I search "submarine" or "sub sandwich" it gives results that are miles away and not the place I know sells subs close by, even with "distance filter." I was hoping to find the place that's 4 blocks away called Jursey Mikes and already has map tracking set up! What are you doing here, Grubhub? Watch out for their manipulative search algorithm

Tried ordering several times and everytime the system would let me finish my order. It will only let me order fast food but if I want anything else I am S. O. L. Apparently. Crap service, doesn't work.

Tip for consumers:
If you are going to offer a delivery service, then make deliveries.

An hour after my food was prepared and ready, I had to call Grubhub because they never picked it up. Grub hub wanted me to pay full price and offered me 20% off my next order. What garbage! Their customer service is complete trash!

Unfortunately, every time I have tried this service... No matter the time of day, restaurant or even city I'm in, the service has been slow and inefficient. At first I thought it must be the individual restaurants or delivery people, but now the pattern is all too clear. GrubHub is just not equipped or mashed well enough to deliver on what they promise. Expect long waits, orders that are cancelled an hour after place them, rescheduled deliveries, and tips expected on top of service charges, regardless of how poor the service has been.

Driver had 3 other order at the same time. My order sat in his car for an hour and a half. If arrived to my house 2 hrs and 40 min after I ordered. Grub hubs solution was to give me two 20% off coupons for future orders. I will not use them.

I ordered food back in August when the grubhub serves went down they handled this wonderful at the time, and even sent a free $10 off my next order.

A month later I go to use this and it has expired. I call grubhub to clear this up. Instead I spend 5 min with a rep who was super rude spend another 10 minutes on hold then the supervisor tells me he can't find evidence of this coupon and asks me to do the work for him.

The last two times ordering from GrubHub has been more of an hassle than it's work. I'm disappointed I've recommend friends to use them, and now want to them otherwise.

Insanely expensive and they don't even get your order right. How hard is it to check and see if you have the 3 items that were ordered before you leave the restaurant? This isn't rocket science. GrubHub refuses to make it right, so you are just out the money. Unlike other food delivery services, there is no option for cash tip with GrubHub to ensure you don't tip a lot for poor service or forgotten items. So I just gave an $11 dollar prepaid tip to some dude that forgot one third of our order. He just shoved the bag in our hands when we opened the door and bolted! I deleted the app immediately. Never again

Made an order online since they partnered with Taco Bell. Got the wrong food entirely. Not even close. No big deal right? Mistakes happen and hey, they've got a customer service chat. I contact them. It takes a full hour to get any help. They kept bouncing me around in chat and the finally somebody calls... to put me on hold for 20 minutes.

After over an hour of waiting I get a refund I get my money and am told I can just re-order it... so I do. The same delivery driver cannot find my very public, very much on a main street with a giant 10 foot sign office.

I don't know why I've kept coming back to GrubHub. I. Am. Done. I've used them ten times and eight of those times my order was delayed anywhere from an hour to two and a half hours, sometimes only to be cancelled after that long of a wait, while I am sitting there starving. I ordered food because I was hungry you jerks! I have had incorrect orders, items missing, and the appearance of food having been picked at by the drivers. GrubHub is more expensive than other delivery services for way, WAY less quality service. If I could give it negative stars I would. You want a good delivery service? Go to Doordash. They charge less and I've never had an issue getting my food in a timely manner.

Great site for all types of take out and delivery places. Gives discounts to frequent users on top of the discounts that one may get from the restaurant, which I find financially endearing. Also they have a very easy to use chat service which is online 24/7, to help check up on orders that are late or whatever else you may need help with. You can store credit card info, etc, making ordering in very simple. I sometimes put the order in from my droid and then it's there minutes after I arrive. Great stuff.

Try checking eat24 or seamless, the up charge on grubhub is much higher than like sites costing around $5-7 more on each order! That'd cover your delivery and tip ;) check other food delivery apps first. Plus grubhub doesn't send coupons anymore, eat24 sends one every weekend giving you additional discounts. Talking like $10-15 cheaper to order on alternate apps! Grubhub is certainly convenient but there are like apps that cost you less out of pocket so check before clicking submit!

Delivery drivers are constantly dropping off orders to the wrong apartment. I even have it set that they're suppose to knock on my door and physically hand me the order. I've finally got fed up with the incompetence so canceled my membership and will be switching to DoorDash. Grubhub, there's a reason you're losing customers and it's due to your drivers.

2 hour wait time for 2 Stromboli's from a place less than a mile away. Not only did I tip $4 for $20 worth of food I had to order to meet a false delivery minimum, but grubhub charged me an additional $5 to place the order. Pizza Plus never updated the order status and we were surprised when they did finally show up because I specifically used the special directions area to let them know to call my cell when they got to my apartment building. Apparently they can get into my secured building with no problem which I'm uneasy with. Total $#*!ing scam!
