Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.
Never received order, yet my card was charged, and then they send me a text message asking " how was the food?". I had to contact my credit to dispute charge because service was never rendered. HORRIBLE
I was disrespected by one of their restaurants and this stupid $#*! Amy is telling me she can't give me a full refund because they gave me a refund for my missing item! White people is so stupid if I ever meet her I'll make sure I'll beat her $#*!! I tried to use my gift card with Grubhub and it immediately charged my debit card. I called 1 minute after the order was placed and was told my case would be escalated to a manager and I would be contacted in 48-72 hours. Never heard rom anyone. Called and spoke to someone who couldn't help me at all because he didn't understand my situation and kept telling me about a promo code that had NOTHIng To do with my problem. Then I emailed the gift card services to see if they could help and haven't heard anything. Worst most incompetent service I've ever gotten from a business that claims to help people will never use again.
I have ordered from grub hub a handful of times, and ever time my delivery is missing food. Is it the restaurant last fault or is the driver steeling my food? Know one really seems to m ow or be interested in finding out. I have ordered from several different places and always food missing which leads me to believe grub hub does not hire reputable people. If food isn't missing, which is like 1:*******, the food is turned upside down and not edible. Instead they hire people that think it's cute to steal food. Well, no more orders from me, and no more big tips from me. Find someone else to feed your nasty habits, piece of $#*! drivers and piece of $#*! app company. You can rip off someone else $#*! holes

Ordered over $50 of food 45 mins before the restaurant stopped taking delivery orders. 1st driver on his first day and didn't know what to do so drove around for an hour. Called Dudhub and told them the driver doesn't know where to go and I just got off phone. Dudhub assigns a new driver 2 hours later and then they fully cancel the order. Call driver #2 and he said he didn't want to get out of his car so he cancelled. Call Dudhub and they say the restaurant is no longer taking deliveries so they can't send someone to pick it up even though my food has been ready for 2 hours. Was told I could go pick it up myself if I wanted..
Wanted to order Taco Bell. Grub Hub estimated 35-45 minutes. Placed order. Estimate immediately changed to 60-70 min. Got an update that order would be about 20 minutes longer. Okay. Checked again and order would now be 90 minutes from order time. I called the delivery driver and he said he had an emergency and they're giving it to someone else. He said it would be a long time... it had already been about an hour and a half. Five minutes later we got a text saying our order has been cancelled because it's taking too long. Do not waste your time with this horrible "service". Thankfully, we had some food in the freezer to zap.
Worst service in the world, I will never use it again/ Ordered a meal, was told after my card was charged that they couldn't deliver. Received promo code, ordered a second meal and had to pay $8.50 extra - that meal couldn't be delivered. Spoke to management, was told that I could receive a second promo code, but it will be an additional cost for delivery and taxes. Which means after spending on 3 delivery charges, I still won't get my food. Also, the manager hung up in my face; my kids never receive food that I paid for x 2. Grubhub is pure unprofessional and disgusting, even when they don't fulfill their responsibility after taking your money, they still try to charge you. I am just getting started.
They refused to give me a refund after the driver left my food at the wrong house. Then told me food would be delivered 40 minutes after the original delivery time. Then I was sent another notice that the delivery would be another 40 minutes late. I had to wait 3 hours for my food and all they could offer was a $5 grubhub credit. The worst customer service.
I always order from this one restaurant on grub hub, but I figured I'd give the yelp app a try. I heard people say they like it and first time gets a discount so why not.
I order from the same restaurant and pay for 10pc wings among my other orders, I don't get the right amount because they reported differently to the restaurant.
Customer support says oh well here is a 2$coupon please try our service again. As if! The discount means nothing if their app is not telling the restaurant the right order. Will never be ordering through this again. I don't recommend anyone else take the chance either.
Also they completely tried to put the blame on the restaurant. how shameful

Grubhub services have drastically declined over the past few years. It is so unfair that we constantly have delayed orders, but when we call the restaurant we discover that the food is hot and ready, with no driver to deliver it.
My family just went through a nightmare. My father ordered dinner to my house for our family. It was supposed to be a gift. It ended up being hell. The food never showed after a hour. The order had to be placed again. And I was told I had to make the order again with promo codes to pay for a new order. Basically I had to spend more money use the promo codes. The second order came and it was wrong and the food was cold. Unbelievable! Business like this seem to only be concerned with making money. The customer really does matter. After they get your money they basically can do what ever they want to do. Needless to say we will never use or recommended this service. It's Absolutely the worst.
I'm normally not the complaining type of person but come on. I understand we are in a pandemic with all the social distancing etc etc but dropping a food delivery off on the steps without 1. Calling or 2. Sending a text or 3. Ringing the bell or 4. Knocking on the door or LITERALLY ANYTHING is extremely unacceptable to me. Our food (open bag food) sat on the steps for 20 minutes without us knowing anything about it. A area high in crime & RODENTS. You guys really take people's money & hand them half $#*! services & it's pathetic. You won't have to worry about me or anymore reviews from me. I promise. #DeletingApp
Gonzalo, Kevin, Carlos (all in Chicago-not local) chat agents flat out lied to me and exited chat, leaving me without resolution. Gonzalo said the driver was waiting at the restaurant. I called the restaurant and no driver had ever been there. Kevin said he called the driver. He actually called me. 101 minutes (1 hour and 41 minutes) after placing my order, it finally showed up. When I asked how long ago she had received the order, the driver said 15 minutes. Thank goodness the restaurant kept my food warm. I asked GrubHub for 2 free deliveries to compensate me. The best they could do was 20% off. Like I'm ever going to use them again anyway.
Driver accepts... Gets to the restauraunt... Leaves without any intention of delivering. Order delayed for an hour and a half.
You think this is a one time thing? Nope. It will happen over and over again.
And yes I tip the full 20% (higher if it's a small order).

Watch your driver on the map, if you see the driver go, then leave never to return, contact support, report him and ask them to assign someone else, then if your food is cold, report that, too.
I ordered from this site many times, even after they screwed up. I was new to on; line delivery, and I was trying to be nice, and give them a chance to get their act together. But they never did! Each time, they got worse and worse, until I finally gave up on them. Delivery was dog slow nearly every time. The delivery people didn't speak English very well, and they would argue with you when you complained. That didn't even do any good, because you couldn't understand half of what they were saying! The first few times, the driver got lost, and I had to go online to a chat agent to correct the situation. That even took time, because they were always busy with other customers. I don't know who runs this company, but someone there needs a swift kick in the rear end! These people are awful!
Decided to try the service for the 1st time, partly due to a 12$ off promo that was promised to appear at checkout- which never did. I tried to cancel the order which was not made possible on the site - or with the online chat. So I had to waste my time calling the 800# to get the money back. The refunded me minus 1 cent. Not something anyone would ever waste their time trying to recoup but pretty sneaky. If 100k people do this, they've made money on a seemingly benign mistake. Last complaint, they automated a driver trip at 17.00$ - WHAT? I've never heard of a driver being tipped 25% on a take out order. Come on - but again enough people probably pay it unwittingly and who knows what % is actually going to the driver. So needless to say, I am not a fan and will not be using this service again. I DESPISE sneaky business operations.
Came across their site on my phone whole trying to order some take out for my boyfriend and I. Type in my city and state and get an option for Chinese that's only 4 miles away. Accept, place the order pay online with my card. Only to find that this place we ordered from is in CO! I'm in MN! Why would this even show up as an option? I clearly entered my city and state. I've now been on hold for over 20 minutes unable to get through to anyone in their customer service to cancel this before I get charged for something I obviously can't pick up. I tried to call the restraunt to rectify it there but I've tried twice and no one that picks up the phone speaks English or even answers to "hello". What a sham. Thanks to a lack of information I will probably be out $30.
I ordered lunch for a disabled person - someone with autism. The lunch order arrived incomplete - something that would easily set an autistic person off. Worse off they will not eat something incomplete. I called Grubhub to report this as all I wanted was the missing item replaced. They could not comply. They instead refunded me $2 for an incomplete meal that I will need to throw out - nothing else would be done. As I was now out $38 and no lunch - I informed the phone operator I would be leaving a bad review. They proceeded to remove my ability to leave an order review. This company is outrageous in their practice - and I will report this to as many places as I can.
Worst food delivery service EVER! Never received our food because turns out GrubHub never even put the order in! When I finally reached GrubHub they simply said sorry about that, we'll send you a coupon so you can order from us over again! Like it was no big deal! We're starving! How about just delivering the food we ordered, NOW! This is the second time we had a problem. NEVER AGAIN!
The first & last time I will ever use this service! 3 hours after my initial order, I was still waiting for a order that was coming from a restaurant 15 minutes from my house! The customer service rep was unprofessional & couldnt even give me a reason why I waited so long! And then I have to wait up to 10 days to get my refund?!? Stay away from this service!
Ordered 5 items, only 4 showed up. Was refunded the amount of the fifth, but still actually needed the food. Was told I would need to place the order again, pay the fee, tip the driver (when I already had tipped the previous driver based on the 5 items), and wait the 1hr + for food to be delivered so I could eat with my guests.
Not sure who was at fault for incomplete order, but felt that not enough was done to alleviate the mistake and they more or less shrugged their shoulders giving me an "oh well"
Ordered, given a 45 minute wait. Ok, no problem. 45 minutes turns into an hour, an hour into two hours, etc. Eventually cancelled and the driver still wasn't even close to delivering. Don't use - GrubHub is literally the worst service I've ever used. No apologies given, nothing offered for my exorbitant wait time. Will be cancelling my account.
I just used grub hub for the first time as I was traveling in a new city and was stuck in my hotel room sick. I ordered from a Chinese place and wAs told after I completes the order it would take 1 1/2 hours. That kind of upset me but what was I gonna do. The food actually arrived in 20 minutes, piping hot, friendly delivery man. The food was hit and miss with the sides being above average and the entreat being below, but that was probably just the restaurant/how I ordered. From a convenience standpoint it absolutely solved all my problems so I'm happy and will use this in the future.
Camila was our deliverer, she was so clueless on how to do her job. She decided to leave when we were outside waiting to get our food. We were calling and texting her multiple times. Because of her leaving we are out all of our money because they refused to give us a refund. This was the worst service I have ever encountered and will absolutely never use grub hub again and will make sure no one around me uses it either.
