“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

We tried to order from a restaurant we often order and get delivery from. We have ordered here many times on GrubHub and have never had an issue getting delivery. For whatever reason, this time it was accidentally set to Pickup, which we can't do because our car is in the shop. So first I called the restaurant and they said to contact GrubHub. We did and GrubHub told us that it was impossible to switch it from pickup to delivery because we had already placed the order. They said they couldn't possibly assign a driver. Not only that, they also told us we couldn't cancel the order! Basically forcing a charge on my card for food that would never be eaten. Oh but they gave a 30 dollar grubhub credit. I just can't believe how backward and inflexible their systems is. Blows my mind!

Used this service once in November of 2014 and it was confirmed by there customer service who took over 10 minutes to answer the phone when I called. Than I was told this happens a lot where people are charged and they did not order. Wtf. Than I was told it would take 72 hours to research where the payment came from and why and then another 7 to 10 days to give me my money back. I will never again use this service a second nor would I recommend that this company used to anyone else as I was advised that the same issue that occurred with me happens a lot.

You might as well shut your doors GrubHub. Your intolerance and disregard for our Democratic process demonstrates you practice the qualities you seek to condemn. Hope your employees can extract some class-action money on the hostile workplace you have created (before you go out of business that is). For the others that suffer as a result of your ignorant temper tantrum... I hope they land on their feet soon. #NeverGrubHub

I ordered food tonight, only to wait over an hour for it not to show up and so when I check on my order, it said it got cancelled. At no point in time did I ever try to cancel my order, and I got no notification of it happening either. Now it's almost midnight and nothing near me is open so I'm SOL on dinner now. Thanks GrubHub.

I ordered dinner for myself while working at a motel. I put in the correct address for delivery (as I have done several times before without incident). Work got busy for a few minutes, and I was unable to check my phone. Within a 10 minute span, I had three missed calls and a missed text from Grub Hub, informing me that the driver was attempting to get a hold of me. Ok, thanks! So I called the customer service line to get in touch with my driver. They tell me the driver couldn't wait any longer so he left, and I was not entitled to a refund. I never saw a driver or person approach the lobby, so apparently this person tried to call, couldn't get through, and instead of coming up to the damn door of the address that was listed on the order, decided to just bail and, I guess, what, throw my food away? Sweet dude

GrubHub has sunk to the bottom of the barrel. They have consistently told lies about my order being "on the way" when in fact it is not. For the second time, my husband and I have waited over TWO hours for our food and still nothing. I thought the first time was a fluke and that I should give them another chance. Bad choice. Once again they say "oh order will be there in 15 mins", then I call back and they say they are sorry, it will be 5 more mins. I call the actual restaurant and it turns out they didn't have a delivery driver, had to call someone in, and that it would be another 20 MINS.

Needless to say, I canceled my order. Nothing is worse than a hungry, angry customer. If grubHub would have just told the truth about timing of delivery, I would have canceled and actually had breakfast somewhere.

Don't bother with GrubHub - they are terrible and have gotten progressively worse over the years.

Placed an order, had an emergency and had to leave. Logged into the app and selected cancel my order. They never responded. I emailed them and they said my order had been delivered successfully. Wait, what? TO WHOM? Did somebody at my place get a free meal on me? Who signed for it? Because I always have to sign for my orders.

They've been giving me the run around and ample attitude whenever I try to call for a solution. Guess I'm out $35 and they've forever lost a customer.

I orders 1.5 hours in advance, grubhub sent an email claiming that the order was on it's way. 10 minutes later I received a call from the restaurant saying that the food was getting cold. I talked to 2 representatives from grubhub who said that they would call the driver and call me back. Neither kne ever did. Horrible service, liars, dont count on them!

Your service sucks. Your lame web ordering is broken and your driver in Grand Rapids Michigan would have a hard time finding his head with both hands, I would not order anything from a restaurant that solely uses your terrible service. I tried to order a pizza from Roma's in Kalamazoo, Michigan and found it impossible to complete a 30.00 order.The GR order was for 50.00 to a major Hotel on Hotel Drive off of 28th street in January 2020 and after waiting 2 hours I got a text from the moron that I was stupid and was trying to mess with them because he could not find the address. It was for mexican food.

Do not ever use this service. We waited over an hour. Our order NEVER arrived. When we checked the website, we were told it 'had been delivered' There was nothing here. There is no number to call and no one cares anyway. They simply said they would refund our money but, we wanted our order. No one would answer the question of where out order went or why we never received it. They then said a refund would take a week!?!?!? I will never use this service again! I will also be posting this review where ever I can. Absolutely NO customer service!

My fiancé was flying into town late and asked for our favorite restaurant meal. Ordered twice… Grubhub says delivered, restaurant says picked up, drivers say was "not in the system", Grubhub cancelled my orders and offered a coupon for plus. Complete disaster

Over an hour and a half of placing the meal, I finally get notified that my food would not be delivered and would be canceled... But what's this? A 50% coupon. It'd be much better if they had better customer service, smarter technology, and more restaurants. This is the worse delivery service I've received. They only draw people in with coupons. Not worth the time.

I never received my order because the driver stole it. Be aware of this number *******004 when ordering your food because this driver is a theft. Called the customer service right away and he said there were two people on the car and one of them stole it. No refund but a 15% off coupon. This customer service guy was so unprofessional and never apologized. I called another customer service representative and finally I got a refund. I will never use this delivery service again. So unprofessional.

Food never arrives on time. Frequently have to wait 30-60minutes extra for food to arrive. Only worth using if you are dead set on ordering from a restaurant that only offers free delivery through Grub Hub.

Used GrubHub for the first time this weekend. Worst service ever. Original food order was to be delivered in 60-70 minutes. Every single time I tracked the order another 10 minutes was added. It was a good hour and a half before the order was on its way. Only 10-15 minutes from my house. Took another half hour to get the "cold" food. Watched the driver's progress on-line and he took the slowest, most indirect route to my house. Don't they have GPS? Plus they force you to add the tip when placing the order. I would not have given the driver as much as I did had I known. Truly, stay away from GrubHub!

There's not much more to say. Probably the worst process I've encountered in my 50 years. #grubhubsucks

Food came more than 2 hours late, and packages had been opened. What are they doing to the food?

I've never had serious issues with eat24, especially compared to similar services. I always get a quick response when I have a question, and their site is easy to use and works very well. Very happy with eat 24.

I have been waiting for grub hub for over 2 hours and still waiting. The place is less than 10 miles away. The last time I had this issue they gave me a $5 freegrub and it expired in less then three hours after receiving the discount and everything was closed. Grubhub you suck!

Tried to order a pizza through Grub Hub. We never got the pizza. They goofed up our phone number. They claimed the pizza was delivered when it wasnt, then when their customer service was called for resolution, they refused to give a refund. The only thing that they would offer, was 2 separate gift certificates that could not be used together.
Absolutely and Utterly ridiculous. Will never use Grub Hub EVER again.

I'm in Dallas. I used to use GrubHub often. Over the past year to year and a half, they have been horrible. They usually offer a small credit when they drop the ball, but who wants to order when it takes sooo long to receive food. Hire drivers so you can serve your customers!

The CEO is obviously prejudice in his political affiliations. He alienated his staff and me as an American. I will never use GrubHub and neither will my Veteran husband. I can't believe he still is employed with them. The current CEO needs to be fired!

Tip for consumers:
Don't use this service. The CEO intimidates his staff. If they have a different opinion than him, he wants them to quit. Not a way to run a business.

Second time that an order arrived on time, but the completely wrong order. How does that happen? Postmates gets it right. Getting a refund is the minimum, but when you have a group of people at your house waiting for dinner this RUINS your night. In a time of COVID even more disheartening. Do not use GrubHub!,

I don't leave reviews often, but this one really got me. We order lunch ever week for our office and client meetings. They have messed up orders up and delivery times too frequently to keep our business. We had a huge client meeting and we promised lunch. It was supposed to be delivered at 12:30pm. I get a notification at 12:06 saying my order has been canceled and there's nothing they can do, other than I reorder everything, even though it won't make it in time. No warning, no call, just canceled. They're costumer service is AWFUL! Only excuses, no accountability. When I asked if we could get a credit they offered $7... The restaurant did in fact receive our order and it was ready for pick up, so I went a picked it up and they only offered $7. Luckily I was able to get it, the restaurant even said they wouldn't have known what to do with all the food orders. If you actually want your food and want it on time, order from somewhere else!

Ordered a dinner and typed in my address and they delivered to wrong address and did not own up to their mistake.
Only offered 50% discount on next order. They took money did not deliver and I will never use this service. Worst ever experience!

I ordered and my ordered was cancelled with out any call or email. Still was charged and dispute it. They say they refunded me but my bank statement shows they haven't. Still waiting. Happened to a friend of mine too. I'll stick to uber eats.
