I bought a brand new 2020 Heritage. It always ran poorly with a "tonk-tonk-tonk" sound in the engine. I had a Stage 2 upgrade installed on August 29,2023. After the Stage 2 I had oil spray coming out of the air box that sprayed all over the chrome side cover, seat and saddle bags. The dealership tried to fix the problem for a year and could not. They did discover an air valve in the rocker box that malfunctioned intermittently. They replace the bad air valve and the "tonk-tonk-tonk"engine noise was fixed. I suspect the air valve was falutly from the factory. The dealer who installed the Stage 2 could not fix the oil spray problem so I took it to another mechanic. He immediatly recognized it was the fault of Harley's faulty engine vent design.and fixed it. I learned that Harley now routes the engine vent hose to the oil bag in 2024 baggers. Harley needs to vent the engine vent hose to the oil bag in all models. Harley should recall all models that route the engine vent hose to the air box and retrofit them to route the engine vent hose to the oil bag. The Harley design that vents the engine vent hose to the air box was a cheap way to cut a corner. As a result of Harley's cheap, poor design, corner cutting we pay. My dealership had to do work that they did not get paid for. I had to pay $300 and a year of misery dealing with a bad design. The Harley factory would not tell their dealership how to fix the problem. In my opinion, Harley is more interested in cutting a corner to satisfy their share holders than they are in satisfying their dealerships or their customers. In my opinion, Harley "FEELS THE NEED FOR GREED" and we all pay for the corners they cut. Harley is going the same route as America in general. They put a higher premium on greedy profit than happy customers. In the long run Harley will lose money and customers with this business model. If a friend asked me what brand motorcycle he/she should consider, I would say "Yamaha" and walk away. Ride safe and live long.
Was given a delivery date of 3to 6 days of time of order. Now after order its 7 to 10 days. Customer service was useless. Never again. J P cycles delivers great.
So I just bout some parts from the local dealer and both times they did not come with the hardware to install them. I did have the hardware for one of the parts but when I asked for the hardware for the other parts they went and got the screws and then attempted to charge me 20 bucks for 4 tiny screws WTF HARLEY I THINK ITS TIME TO RETURN TO YAMMAHA! I paid 50 for the bracket which is a rip off and you see in the photo what I got the screws for when I told harley to pound sand
Hell yeah that boy keyber Garcia great $#*!ing sales men. Can sell ice to a polar bear and trees to a monkey very helpful when I needed it
On April 10,2023, my bike a 2015 Harley Road Glide was drop off at the Barnett Harley Davidson Shop in El Paso Texas. When the bike was drop off a payment had to be made of $50 for ESP (Extend Service Plan) for gasket kit. On April 14,2023 I received a call stating that there was motor damage, cause by fly wheel and oil pump.
The communication on how the process would work was terrible and I could not get any set answers, callbacks, or just plain updates. This led me to write a review on google on April 18,2023, speaking of my experience that I had so far.
On April 20,2023, when speaking with Pricilla, she advised me how her manager wasn't happy with the review and was very upset. She also made me aware that someone from Barnett called Harley ESP inspector with the intention of getting warranty void due to Cams that had nothing to do with fly wheel and oil pump.
After the call with Pricilla was completed, I then realize that this was a tactic of retaliation due to the google review that was done by myself. According to the "Consumer Review Fairness Act" which makes it illegal for companies to include standardized provisions that threaten or penalize people for posting honest reviews. Due to all the inconsistences over the past few days, I ensured that all communication with Barnett Haley Davidson were recorded. I listen to the record call again to confirm that this was truly retaliation due to the review that was made on April 14th. I made the decision it's best for me to just pick my bike up from Barnett Harley. My bike was picked up from their shop on April 22,2023.
