I've been a customer for a few years now and will be for a while. The razors are great, affordable and packaged perfectly. I know a lot of folks don't like reoccurring subscriptions but theirs is worth it and easy to manage if you need to place your next order on hold like I did for the winter months. Great Blades make for a smooth canvas no matter where you shave!
I gave Harry's a try haven't looked back. I love their blades and shaving cream. I'm trying some of their other products as well (the new option to order a "surprise" for $5 when you order is great - easy way to try things you might now be willing to otherwise). Not sure what the others are talking about - I've never seen rust (the steel is stainless - not even sure how that could happen), and the blades are the same great quality I've seen since the beginning.
These razors are better than any I've ever used! The subscription service is so easy, and I never have to worry about forgetting to get new razors and using my old dull one. I also love the shave cream from Harry's!
My husband and I both use Harry's and love them. They work great and last a long time. I love that I don't have to think about it, they just send us a new batch on schedule. Plus my husband refuses to shave with anything but the shave gel now. The price can't be beat. 8 blades and 2 shave gels for $28! You pay $20 for 4 Gillette refills alone
Having been a member of other monthly shave clubs I decided to give Harry's a shot to see what else was available. I love their razors, shaving cream, and post-shave items. This incited me to try some of their other products. I have actually replaced all my hygiene products with Harry's now. I use their shampoo, body wash, lotion, shaving sets, deodorant, and more. I couldn't recommend their brand higher. Their products tend to leave a cool, crisp feel on your skin after use.
The first time I heard about Harry's on the radio, I realized it was the best idea I'd heard for buying shaving supplies; so I ordered a starter kit, & set up my account. I was immediately pleased with the quality of the products, and I have never had an issue with an order. The pricing is hugely competitive for the high quality, and the subscription is great because its easy to delay a month if you need to. I think they are such a great company!
I tried this razor and have been very pleased so far fo nearly a year. The one thing that I have noticed is that I do not have to replace the blades very often at all. In fact, I've delayed shipment numerous times already. I still of course need to soften my beard a bit before using, but it gives me a very close shave that last 2-3 days. I do like their shaving gel too, but for the price I've opted not to continue it as the last bit seems wasted due to a poor dispenser design. Still love the blades though. As for some bad reviews about shaving under the nose, it has a trim blade on the end that works great for me. Then as far as rust... that makes no sense considering I leave mine in the shower for weeks and have yet to see any rust whatsoever.
My son gave me the intro Harry's kit for Christmas last year. I was not sure I was willing to change from a lifetime of picking up twin blade razors from the store by subscribing to a "blade service". After using the intro kit, I signed up and have been pleased with the shaves I get and the great service. The blades last much longer than my old blades so eventually I am going to have to skip one of my scheduled shipments because I won't need it for another month or two.
Been using the blades for about 4 years. Liked them, but no trimmer. Made suggestion, got a response they were working on it and trimmer appeared on blades about 6 mos later. Really like the orange rubber grip on the razor. It's well balanced, light and makes for a firm, comfortable grip. The stainless razor I felt was hard to hold on to. The base for the razor is a really nice touch. The blade holder and travel cover are pluses. Customer service is excellent and responsive. Just ordered the thai basil facial mist. Love it. Light, refreshing and a calming fragrance. No complaints here.
As a female I have found that I much prefer male marketed razors. Harry's does not disappoint! I really appreciate the durable handle and love that the razors come in the mail at the pace of my choice. I don't have to think about it, they just arrive. Also their staff always reaches out, even tho I'm not even a mega spending customer.
Harry's reminds me of an old fashioned department store or restaurant. When you walk in you feel special because you are immediately greeted with warmth and kindness. That's how I feel when I get an email informing me of a new product or from one of your courteous staff asking if I was satisfied with my last order. Keep up the great work.
When I first read about Harry's I thought it was kind of gimmicky. Then a friend recommended them so I gave them a try.
I was wrong, the blades are excellent, smooth comfortable shave at an economical price. That coupled with great customer service and the convenience of home delivery makes Harry's a winner. I have been a subscriber for well over a year and am very satisfied.
I've been using Harry's since 2012 and can attest that they are the best razors around! The website and ordering processes are a breeze and the products are unmatched. BTW, if you run short you can visit a Target or Walmart to pick up more blades in a hurry. I shave 5 days a week so I've tried them all and will not go back to another company.
I love Harry's! I'm glad there is finally an alternative to overpriced shaving products! Thank you. My products arrive on time and the website is a joy to work with. They allow flexibility and have never given me grief when I want to take a break from deliveries.
The products Harry's offer are excellent. Their performance far surpasses those of the more popular shaving companies and products. What's more, if you want to skip a delivery, just respond before it is shipped and they will not send it or will change it to your specifications. The razors and shaving gel are priced better than those other products I have used in the past. I was reluctant to join at the beginning but am so proud I did.
I've been a Harry's subscriber for about the last six months. I've been impressed with the high quality of the razors and shave gel. Well worth the money. Also I have to mention how easy it is to customize orders to fit exactly what you need. Five stars.
You're going to think I'm related to the owners after you read this. I am not. I am simply one thoroughly satisfied Harry's razor wielding man with a goatee and a shaved head. I NEED razors that stay sharp longer. Harry's... CHECK! I need a company with a customer service department that REALLY CARES about its customers. Harry's... CHECK! If I didn't have a touch of laryngitis at the moment I truly would shout out Harry's from my rooftop... even though I live in a one-story home. Best razor and accessories company found ANYWHERE. See... I told you it would sound like I was married or related to the owner of the company!
These blades are excellent quality, as good as anything I could buy in a drug store. The app allows you to delay delivery if you don't need blades quite yet (you get a reminder email before they ship so you can pause or change your order in time)
I love this company. They deliver a great product, and the price is bang on. They deliver consistently on time, and dealing with them has been a pleasure. I use their razors, and shaving cream. I've always had a good clean shave, and have never had a cut (I shave my head entirely, so there is a lot of room for error, but it has never happened.)

Answer: Great question, Tony! Blade lifespan will definitely vary a bit based on your particular hair type, shave schedule, and blade care habits. While there's no exact standard for how long a cartridge will last you, we find that the average person likes to replace blades every 6-8 shaves. The idea is that our blades are durable and will last a long time, at a great price.
Answer: The new blades are not as smooth as the old ones and you cannot buy the old ones anymore.

Answer: I had a problem with that when I first got them and found out that I wasn't pusing them on the handle far enough. Also if you hold too close to the blade and choke up on the handle too much your fingers tend to push the blades off. When I held back further on the handles... no worries. Since I changed those two things, I don't have that problem.
Answer: Because when they changed the design of the blade by adding the trimmer, the blade lost its smooth shaving quality, life of the blade and no burn feeling. Now it burns after the shave, blade does not last that long and all you are left with is a cheap blade. If they bring back there 1st generation blades back, I will be the first one to buy them and give back my business to Harry's for LIFE!
