I have found that Harry's razors give me a cleaner close shave than any other online shave club. Using their shave gel, soap and face cleanser gives me the feeling of using spa like products and yet I know I am not "breaking the bank" in purchasing them.
I, ve tried many different razors over the years, and I find Harry's to be the best value around for an excellent razor at an affordable price. I love receiving my razors in the mail on time with my plan, and they have a wonderful line of products.
I've been using Harry's shaving products for nearly five years, with excellent success. Their blades are ably designed for a close shave, and are not over-engineered like some of the major brands. And they are not expensive, either. Their shave cream is as good as it gets, too.
I have been a Gillette consumer since the age of 13. My father was actually a designer for Gillette for many years. So I would be considered an experienced shaving consumer. Being such, I found myself running to the store when I ran out of blades. The Gillette blades are so expensive. I decided to switch to Harry's because of their simplistic design and packaging concepts. I also found the ease of an automatic shipment of blades and shaving cream every other month to be reasonable and one less thing that I had to keep track of. I have since broadened my experience with additional Harry's men's products, such as the bar/soft soaps. I have also found the gift surprise package offerings to be beneficial as well. Even though the blades are not at the quality of the Gillette product, the quality and ease of ordering through Harry's is more than enough to satisfy any shaving needs that men need today. I highly recommend this product.
I m pleased and often excited to get my refills from Harry's. Takes the worry away of running out of razors and having to use a dull one till can get to a store. It is nice to able to adjust the length of time between refill/orders and super easy to do. Always helpful and its also fun to get a surprise from Harry's once in awhile! Smooth Shaves. I use One Blade a week. My facial Hair is so stiff I have to soap and wash my face at least twice in hot water before I even try to shave... and doing this, my Blades still last me a week of a little longer if I need them too. Great Product. Well done, HARRY'S
I saw the trial and figured what the heck, a blade is a blade. It turns out that this is the best razor I have ever used. It cuts cleanly with minimal if any nicks or cuts.
I like the convenience of the delivery schedule, and the occasion surprise add on is a cleaver way to showcase products. I got the shave cream and now use it all the time.
I had been using Harry's for about 2 years now. After 20 years of shaving my head, in the last 2 months these Harry razor have cut the crap out of my head. The first time, I thought, fluke, cuts happen, (though it was a bad cut, flap of skin). Two days ago, another really bad cut to the back of my head. Like I said, I've been shaving my head since I started balding at 19,20 years ago. Going back the expensive razors that never took chunks of skin.
I had been using the same shaving product for most of my adult life (I'm 68) and was pretty happy with the product. Concerns about price, availability and over-packaging led me to try Harry's razor and blades. I was surprised to discover that the shave that I got from Harry's was actually better than the product that I had been satisfied with for 40 years or more. I get a very close and smooth shave every time, roughly the same number of shaves per blade and with the convenience of home delivery by mail.
I have been using Harry's for awhile now. I like the way the razors cut and also how easy it is to clean. Plus the single blade option makes it easy to keep my lines tight. I would definitely recommend Harry's razors to anyone looking for a quality shave at an affordable price. Great job Harry's, keep doin what you do.
I tremendously enjoyed Harry's first generation blades. It was the best shaving experience for me because the razor glided so smoothly on my skin. Then the new generation blades arrived and my shaving experience has totally changed. The new blades are not very good as I cut myself few times with them, which had never happened with the first generation blades and I don't have a sensitive skin. I probably will not order from Harry's again and that's too bad.

Agree with comments about trial blades being good and replacements of low quality. Developed skin rash from using them. Always had stubble where I didn't nick myself. Shipping was ok. Back to national ripoff brand where at least high priced shave is reliable.

I've been shaving since 7th grade (12 or 13 yrs old). I'm now 50. Because of my hair line changing I started shaving my head over a year ago. Awesome! In fact I man scape weekly and shave my head and face every other day if not daily. This razor has never let me down. The only time I have been cut is when I was shaving to fast and nicked myself with the precision trimmer. Carelessness. I don't see how anyone could give Harry's less than 5 stars. What a great investment!
Facial hair differ from one person to another. Mine grow out annoyingly fast and it's tough. A high quality blade is essential for me. Harry's blades are sharp and the quality is consistent. I used to have problems with blades varying in quality before I swapped to Harry blades.
I am loyal to my old shaving cream as the one offered by Harry do not provide the comfort and protection of my skin I am accustomed to.
I order blades for my husband, easy, peasy, no running out, no chasing to the store.
His drawer always has what he needs! Then I added Harry's Shave Gel, Great light scent!
He's not one to shop so delivery works well.

Answer: Great question, Tony! Blade lifespan will definitely vary a bit based on your particular hair type, shave schedule, and blade care habits. While there's no exact standard for how long a cartridge will last you, we find that the average person likes to replace blades every 6-8 shaves. The idea is that our blades are durable and will last a long time, at a great price.
Answer: The new blades are not as smooth as the old ones and you cannot buy the old ones anymore.

Answer: I had a problem with that when I first got them and found out that I wasn't pusing them on the handle far enough. Also if you hold too close to the blade and choke up on the handle too much your fingers tend to push the blades off. When I held back further on the handles... no worries. Since I changed those two things, I don't have that problem.
Answer: Because when they changed the design of the blade by adding the trimmer, the blade lost its smooth shaving quality, life of the blade and no burn feeling. Now it burns after the shave, blade does not last that long and all you are left with is a cheap blade. If they bring back there 1st generation blades back, I will be the first one to buy them and give back my business to Harry's for LIFE!
