After all the hype I decided to try Harry's blades and products. The blades were a disappointment. They are low-grade and inferior quality. The blades do not have the structure within the cartridge to allow for a smooth shave and I was always getting nicked in the process of shaving. This never happened with Gillette so I'm going back to them. You get what you pay for and Gillette offers a superior product for a smooth, clean, non-nick shave.
Harry's doesn't only have quality products, they also aren't a typical subscription business. I like the option of not having to purchase if I don't need product. Subscriptions can be delayed so you don't end up with too much stuff.
The razor blades are very good quality and give you a really close shave. The shaving cream is more like moisturizer than typical stuff you get out of a can and works very well for those of us with sensitive skin. Are usually suffer from razor burn, but with Harry's products I don't.
The face wash is probably my favourite product. My wife also uses it because she says it's better than any women's product she's found. It leaves your face feeling really nice and clean and exfoliated.
The body wash is next on my list.
I've been a customer for a couple years and I will continue to be for a very long time.
Harry's was a Christmas gift to my husband a couple of years ago. He'd never been happy with either a hand or electric razor but since the reception of that gift I've heard nary a complaint the last 2 years. Clean shave, so easy to use, so convenient to have blades regularly delivered on time, and we never run out.

I recently ordered three different body washes from Harry's. I can't decide which is my favorite scent because they are all great! It lathers up beautifully and leaves my skin feeling soft. Best body wash ever.
I have been using Harrys.com for my shaving needs for about 2 years had have had no issues at all. It has been a very easy experience with their automatic ordering. They send e-mails before a shipment is made to make sure your order is correct and if you want to add anything else. You can also change your shipping address on-line to different addresses, in case you leave for the winter months. Very Happy
I hadn't used anything but an electric razor for over 40 years. Tried Harry's Razors and I would never go back to anything else. And the contact I've had with customer service has been wonderfully responsive.
Started buying from Harry's 5 years ago and never looked back. The razors are nice and durable and the blades last way longer than any other we've every used. Just ordered more blades and received them yesterday. Shipping is always fast and the website is easy to use. Do yourself a favor and quit buying those disposable razors at the store and buy from Harry's!
Harry's has great reliable products. They seem to listen to the customers and try to put out products that customers really want and enjoy. They don't bug you to constantly spend more of your hard earned money. But, they do keep you up to date on new and returning items. They do check on you to make sure you are 100% satisfied with service and products. I have tried another very popular mail order shave "club" but I am happier with Harry's and plan to stay with them for a long time.
Thought I might try them following multi solicitations via USPO. The web site is very vague about the fact that in purchasing the Promo you are agreeing to a repeat service & billing; slimy! I have a full beard and the branded blades last me a couple months, as I don't even trim daily. This kind of CON is getting popular these days. I might of tried them, somehow, until I read your reviews. Thanks for disclosing (via many bad reviews) these losers.
We’re sorry for any confusion, Craig. It is a Free Trial for our Shave Plan. We send you our product to try out. You give a our Blade a few shaves, and 17 days later you receive your 1st Shave Plan order of Blades.
During that Trial period you always to have the option to cancel if you do not care for the shaving experience it provides, or do not wish to receive our Blades via our subscription. They can always be purchased manually.
If it’s helpful, when you sign up, you are asked to Customize your Trial Set by choosing your Handle color. Next, our site asks you to Choose Your Ongoing refills, and tells you the date of that shipment.
Lastly, we ask you how often you Shave so we can base those reoccurring shipments on how often you Shave. At Checkout, just below our Place Order button, the reoccurring shipment order date and contents are shown for you to confirm before placing the order.

More blades and ball joints are just rubblish inventions of the big guys to justify making you change and charging you more - no need to fall for that!

I joined Harry's razor a few years ago. I went to the supermarket and saw the prices of the razors and could not understand why. So I said to my wife their must be a better way. And I found it. I love the shipping. Comes quick, with great products and service. Very easy to adjust shipping. I don't see a reason to shift to anyone else as I feel teh quality keeps getting better.
I don't even think of buying shaving supplies at the store anymore. Harry's offers great products at excellent prices. Their blades are very consistent. Never had a dud yet. Not true of GIllette or Schick. Their face scrub is great too.
I've been using Harry's products for several years now. They make a great razor, the shave gel is excellent, things are priced appropriately, and shipping is nearly always no extra charge. I'm glad that they now make body wash. Can they make a razor for us who shave their heads, too? Let's see...
I started ordering this for my walking wookie (I mean husband) because we were spending a small fortune on shaving blades and shave cream for him. When our son moved home those costs doubled! Harry's is so convenient and easy, I just set the order and forget it, supplies arrive right on time like clockwork! No more running out of blades, no more he used all my shaving cream. One less headache for me!
I first heard of Harry's while reading an article how they'd just spent (I don't remember specifics number... say $2 million) on research and development and still only charged $2 a blade where other companies raised their prices. I wanted to try their razors vs the Mach 3's id been paying a ridiculous amount for. After my first shave with their razor I was sold and purchased a plan to continue receiving thei razors, shave gel, and balm. I now use their body wash as well. Harry's is a great company with great product and they don't take advantage of their customers.
We had a glitch with a recent change of address. Customer service was great, replaced the missing shipment, followed-up the next month to make sure the shipment was received. My boys love their products and the monthly shipments are so helpful.
I have been using their products for the last almost 5 years. I Get a clean shave every time for both head and face. Razors last the same if not more than Gillette's. Nothing to envy to the big razor companies!
Harry's blades are great, and the delivery service is outstanding. I also have used the shave soap and that is a great product, too. The razor is sturdy, the blades last me at least 8 days and stay sharp throughout. I get early notice of the next shipment so I can amend the order if I need to do so. Overall, Harry's provides exactly what they promise.

Answer: Great question, Tony! Blade lifespan will definitely vary a bit based on your particular hair type, shave schedule, and blade care habits. While there's no exact standard for how long a cartridge will last you, we find that the average person likes to replace blades every 6-8 shaves. The idea is that our blades are durable and will last a long time, at a great price.
Answer: The new blades are not as smooth as the old ones and you cannot buy the old ones anymore.

Answer: I had a problem with that when I first got them and found out that I wasn't pusing them on the handle far enough. Also if you hold too close to the blade and choke up on the handle too much your fingers tend to push the blades off. When I held back further on the handles... no worries. Since I changed those two things, I don't have that problem.
Answer: Because when they changed the design of the blade by adding the trimmer, the blade lost its smooth shaving quality, life of the blade and no burn feeling. Now it burns after the shave, blade does not last that long and all you are left with is a cheap blade. If they bring back there 1st generation blades back, I will be the first one to buy them and give back my business to Harry's for LIFE!
