I ordered from this company a few years ago and I was so happy with the product and service. I have no idea what has changed but the customer service is TERRIBLE!
My first order was a special color offer. It's been over two months and it's not even shipped yet! Then I put in a second order 4 weeks ago. I didn't hear anything so I wrote them and they said the dyeing process is delayed. I asked for an eta and they said it takes 4 to 6 weeks which is fine. But it's been 4 weeks for my second order and I can't even get a straight answer about my first order.
She said she spoke to production about my order so why can't she give me an eta when it will be shipped? I love their clothes but after this I won't be buying from them again. For the money I paid for these clothes I should be able to get a truthful answer.
So if you plan on waiting 3 months for your dress then I would recommend, otherwise HolyClothing is now a hard pass for me.
While HolyClothing has a lot of different sizes, what drew me to this company at the beginning was the fact that they carry the plus sizes as there are not a lot of true to size plus dress makers out there at the time (20 years ago). The lasting and vibrant colors are dream choices. The styles are stunning on this plus size woman and makes her feel beautiful and in control of herself <3 I have recommended this company to many friends who have also enjoyed the outfits of their choices... kudos to HolyClothing
So I've here of them thought look great. But never had money finally I bought one I was so excited for this. I bought a dress for my graduation celebration witch is coming up in September (I bought in May). I waited the 6-8 week before ask. I only sent out a email once a month to ask about status of the dress. Nothing but same response "Happy to help :) I've checked and your Make Me One order HC******* is scheduled to ship within 6-8 weeks of ordering, via Priority Courier (delivered in about 5 days). Note that orders that contain Tauriel, Elinor or Elinor Belt will be fulfilled in 10-12 weeks. Kindly note, we make these by hand, as one offs, so they take a little longer. That said, I'm going ahead and asking our production team to expedite as much as possible :) Thanks for being part of the HolyClothing family my name :)" . No real information shared. I'm getting desperate and and angry and upset it's been about 4 months. I don't know what to do. I don't want to be that person but it get down to wire. I don't know what to do :(
Disappointed greatly with their customer service. I bought one of their full length long lace up overdresses and discovered that it was too small so reached out to exchange it but was told I could not because it was a sale price. No exchange or refund. So I completely wasted my money on this. I really don't understand how they can justify this policy and so I expressed my views on it... They didn't even bother to reply. I don't care how nice their products are, I will not do business with them again when they don't care about their customers.
I purchased a dress as a Christmas present early in November. The site did not say anything about the item being "made-to-order," all it said was 5-7 business days in shipping. Given the supply chain shortages I thought I would definitely get the item for Christmas. Come mid- December I wrote to ask about my item and then was told the item is "made-to-order," and it takes 4-6 weeks before it would ship. It is now December 30... my item apparently shipped on December 24... it is currently in Dubai, so I sincerely doubt it will get here before the person I bought this for leaves in the new year. I have not been offered anything after two emails, and if I hadn't written I would have received no updates. To say I'm royally pissed is an understatement. I had bought from Holy Clothing in the past, never again. (Id show images of my product but I haven't received it)
There are some beautiful garments on this website but buyers please be careful. I ordered a dress and the sizing was bigger than the measurements posted on their sizing chart. They actually pulled the product from their line to work resizing and then reposted. I had to return the dress for a smaller size and holy clothing refused to waive return shipping, even though it was their error. I tried to reason with them but they do not care.
I placed an order on March 24 with a quoted 6-8 week shipping time. On May 19, I emailed customer service to ask about my order and got the following reply,
"Happy to help :) I've checked and your order xxxxxxxx is scheduled to ship about 6-8 weeks after ordering, via Priority Courier (delivered in about 5 days).
I've just checked and most orders are shipping in around 45 days, but yours unfortunately, is running a bit late.
Kindly note, we make each piece by hand, as one offs, which takes a little longer, but I can assure you they are well worth the wait:)
That said, I'm going ahead and asking our production team to expedite as much as possible:)

I decided to wait it out and finally received my order on July 15. That's 16 weeks of shipping time.
Also, the embroidery is not the quality I expected, and the size runs slightly large.
If you order from them make sure you order at least 3 months in advance. It took 8 weeks for my order, then they lied to me, when I inquired, they said, "As detailed on our website, your Serenity Maxi from order HC******* will ship about 3-4 weeks after the date of ordering, via Priority Courier (delivered in about 5 days), as everything is hand-made to order I've checked with our production team, and your Serenity Maxi is about to be dyed, which is the final stage of production." But I also received a tracking confirmation from Fedex. Some of the dresses that are "hand-made are also found for way less on Amazon. Click on photo below.
Holy Clothing is a wonderful. I don't feel left out because I'm a plus size woman. I have even given Holy Clothing dresses to other plus size friends. I know they will feel like a queen when they slip on a gown. These dress make you twirl with delight and make your heart sing. I haven't had to return anything but customer service was great to me when I was having an issue and it was fixed right away. Make sure you check the size chart when purchasing. Boobies sometimes make it so you have to buy bigger sizes but I'm always excited when I see a bag waiting for me on my porch. I'll add some pictures soon.
Very good quality, lovely soft material, great finish, good service. Wash separately in a bag when you use the washing machine, the clothes will stay beautiful for years. Lots of different styles from very romantic (photo) to casual and outfits for daily use
