I am an employer seeking to post and sponsor jobs on Indeed. I setup an account and was asked to provide documents for business verification. I submitted the Articles of Incorporation which was approved by the Texas Secretary of State. I also provided a lease agreement showing the company name and my name executing the lease. My verification was rejected. I contacted customer support and they were not helpful. Being the owner of a business and trusted by over 300 clients being rejected by a Team called Safety and Trust is offensive to me as a trusted business owner. The verification process needs major improvement.
Overnight, Early Morning, and Long Distances!
Sundays and Tuesdays, Schools and Churches!
They are all red flags going up in front of me!
Constantly asked me to sign in, spammed my email with there junk still to this day, they allowed scammers to post job listing i had to cancel my bank account due to this. Very unsatisfied. This company is a resume destroyer.

RECENT COMPLAINT TO INDEED (ONLINE) 3/15/25 As a job applicant, I have had multiple auto rejects from JOBS I am highly qualified for AND that I did apply for via Indeed and your "clients" and job postings. I believe my data has been leaked, breached and brokered/sold and the workflow/tokenization and accept/reject process highly boas and flaws and abusive to applicants/job seekers. Auto reject or next day reject makes me suspect errors in data integrity, algorithms, data harvesting, cloud/hybrid storage and AWS5 issues and other backend code that is wrong. I have worked in this area a lot and troubleshooted many a problem. Please advise. Who all is involved in Indeed and the architecture/system backend flow and tokenization and data store (3rd parties and Indeed and Clients). From a client perspective- charging per click is very exploitive considering the data share issues, ghost jobs, test and prod and cloud environments and workflow issues and process. Seems like a data harvesting practice rather than HRIS and ATS best practice and hiring (non-discriminatory) workflows and agreements.
Hi, job postings on Indeed are uploaded directly by the employer and we always encourage them to close their jobs when they have made a hire. If a job appears on Indeed this means the employer has actively posted the job themselves and should mean that they are hiring for the position. Unfortunately, we cannot communicate with all employers regarding every job that they post but we will pass along your feedback!
Ive been trying to post a add to hire employees but Indeeds awful trust and safety team continue to refuse me and pause account even adding three forms of utility bills etc...just awful. AND there is NO customer service or accountability or followup or supervisors to speak with They have lost my confidence and business and I will never promote them. I prefer a lesser competitor as opposed to indeed. Worst experience I have ever had online
Hi Nick, we are very sorry to hear about your poor experience with Indeed. We have sent you a private message to further assist.
Ive worked at a company for 20 year. Still employed there. Ive tried multiple times to write a honest review of the company. Each time i get rejected for going against guidlines. Absolutely nothing wrong with what I wrote. Its a negative review. People should be able to read honest reviews before they apply.
Hi there, all company page reviews on Indeed are subject to a moderation process. Our goal is to make sure we are posting reviews that are transparent and reflect the true working experience of the company. However, if any part of a review violates our guidelines, we will not post it or it will be removed. If you wrote a review for a company that did not become public or was removed after being posted, it is likely that the review did not conform to our guidelines. You can view the guidelines at: https://support.indeed.com/hc/en-us/articles/360046789111-Company-Review-Policies. We advise you to look at our guidelines and revise your review and repost it. Unfortunately, we are not able to discuss individual reviews that may not have been approved.
As I see we are facing pretty much the same issue as many people describing their experience here. Same story, account created, sponsored ads running for months, and one day we randomly get banned. Tried to appeal, got an email that we're banned and its final decision. No reasons no nothing. And the worst part is that they send emails to all candidates that this job might be a scam! We are legally running our business and things like this cost us a fortune! But it's a normal practice to Indeed. Please avoid this company and try to find other way to source candidates!
Hello Robert, thank you for reaching out and we're here to help. A member of our team has responded to your review by public message. Please follow up with us there so we can further assist.
I am a legitimate business owner of a star-up company. Never run into any issue with Indeed in the past. One day, I received an email telling me the company account was disabled, no reason provided. I went through the appealing process and provided the documents including business registration certificate, by-laws... I explained, as the company is still in the early stage, everyone works remotely from home, so there is no Lease and utility bill, etc. I still got denied. Indeed says " Your company is unsuitable for Indeed." Why? How? No reason provided, and decision is final. All the customer Raps just repeated same thing with their arrogant and cold voice--"no reason, and decision is final." It provides no help at all. I am still clueless what is wrong. Really frustrated and disappointed!
Hi Greg, to explain, we have an extensive moderation process designed to protect our job seekers and employers and also ensure a high level of quality in our search results. All Indeed accounts are subject to this review.
Occasionally, we will require further information or documentation to verify a compaany befiore their jobs can appear on Indeed.
Please note: Indeed may reject or remove any job and may disable any Company's account, for any or no reason. We cannot give every reason why a job or a company may be removed, and we always retain the right to remove any job, organic or sponsored, if we feel it is in our interest or our users’ interest.
Hello,
I run a small business company in ossining in new york, I went through the appealing process and provided my internet bill, after few minutes, I received an email saying that my business is unsuitable.
Why? How?
Your killing me.
All accounts and jobs go through our standard reviewing process before they can become fully active on our site. The account has gone through our reviewing process and our team has concluded that we will not be able to show these openings in our search results.
As the account has been disabled by Indeed you do not have the option to post a new position. Please note: Indeed may reject or remove any job and may disable any Company's account, for any or no reason. We cannot give every reason why a job or a company may be removed, and we always retain the right to remove any job, organic or sponsored, if we feel it is in our interest or our users’ interest. This is a final decision that will not be reversed. If you have urgent hiring needs, we highly suggest utilizing other hiring services. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
I am a freelance recruiter and was heavily relying on indeed job posting. My account was suddenly paused and I am losing my credibility with my clients. This means if anybody who is a freelancer and earning his bread and butter from freelancing but does not have a company cannot post jobs on indeed. I was already billed for the job posting and before I can download the applications my account was paused, this is totally fraud as they are charging for posting and not letting us to download the applications for which we already paid
Answer: Hello Anita, positions posted for free stay on Indeed for a total of 120 days. Sponsored positions can stay on the site until an employer has filled the job and closed it on Indeed.

Answer: Hello Gerard, sorry for the negative experience. Indeed recently augmented existing search quality programs with new, ongoing strategies to make sure all jobs on Indeed meet standards for quality. This effort included a large scale review of job listings. Jobs that violated our guidelines and companies that did not meet our quality standards were disabled. We apologize that this was a frustrating process for you and will provide this feedback to our Search Quality team for future improvements.
Answer: By NO MEANS should you pursue this so-called job offer further and in fact, you should report them to the Better Business Bureau.
