The overall reputation of the company reflects significant dissatisfaction, primarily due to a perceived lack of effective customer support and transparency. Customers frequently express frustration with automated responses and difficulty in resolving account issues, leading to feelings of neglect and confusion. Additionally, concerns about the prevalence of fake accounts and content moderation practices contribute to a toxic user experience. On a positive note, some users appreciate the platform's visual appeal and connectivity features. However, the overarching sentiment indicates a growing discontent with the company's responsiveness and commitment to user well-being, suggesting a need for improved customer engagement strategies.

I've reported an impersonation case with clear evidence, but after several days and resubmitting IDs, I've received no helpful response. This is causing me distress and I feel unprotected on the platform. I expected more accountability and support from Instagram."
About three weeks ago I got hacked.
Losing access to my account feels like losing a part of my past. The memories of family from all over the world and the countless moments i once shared together now seem just out of reach. It's heartbreaking to think that a hacker, or even a simple glitch, could steal away something so dear, leaving me isolated in a sea of unreturned support messages.
Every day that passes without resolution only adds to the weight on my heart. The steps i've taken, the hope i've clung to, seem to vanish into a void where the support team remains silent. It's as if my pain isn't being seen or heard at all. I truly wish there was a way to bring back that familiar, comforting space—a place where every video and memory could be revisited, where I could reconnect with my loved ones without barriers. 😔
I want to quit but it is so hard to stop scrolling. It is exhausting. I don't recommend trying it out. Not worth the work, I wish to focus
I had a very bad experience with Instagram, i use Instagram to share original photos taken by me, but suddenly i got a notification that i infringed the intellectual property for another user, the point was that i took and shared photo for the same place he took photos before.
I told them that it was a historical place and it is very normal for everyone to take photos in this place, and he didn't had any exclusive rights to photo this historical place.
But they didn't answer.
They were really bad with me.
Just like Facebook they allowed porn and scammers to made the platform toxic. Now it is just filled with that and all of the stupid stuff that doesn't belong in instagram doesn't get removed. Just boycott it like I did. I never had one.
Instagram's handling of account bans and customer support is disturbingly robotic. They seem to prioritize automated systems over real human engagement, treating users as mere data points. The fact that your friend was banned without explanation, despite having valid ID, shows a total disregard for personal impact. There's no empathy, no accountability—just cold, automated responses that leave people frustrated and confused.
Their lack of transparent communication fuels unnecessary stress and anxiety. Rather than helping users resolve issues, their system appears designed to distance itself from human problems. Instagram's policies seem to push users into cycles of frustration, promoting a culture where people are left in the dark, suffering the consequences of unexplained decisions.
In a world where connection and mental well-being should be prioritized, Instagram's approach instead feels like they stimulate division and emotional harm. This disconnection from their users highlights how far they've strayed from understanding the human side of social media.
So I get a notification that I posted spam via IG. I'm no influencer or celebrity, not on there a lot but, have spam lol. So then they say you can ask for a review but, of course you can't get in because they have disabled the account and requesting the code via cell phone doesn't work. You request it and nothing. Same thing if you go directly to the "oversight board". Basically they really want this outlet for people who don't work and use this for hundreds or thousands of followers. Good part if I need to go on there, I have another account lol...guess yall can't control everything.
Garbage site. Bans your new account and demands face and phone no verification with no guarantee of getting it back. Actual site is just lame pic collages from lame "photographers" such as- *******@kiosea39 and- *******@rowellphoto57, and celeb nonsense. TikTok is outcompeting it anyway. Zuck and all his Meta garbage is on its way out.
I recommend instafollowers because their service is usually fast but very efficient and their customer service is reliable offering you an expedited delivery in slow delivery case days or in the event where you purchase real content and you shall lose a like or follower instafollowers customer service is fast acting
Must be some Trump fans working at Instagram. Obviously- for a week now they have been monitoring my likes and responses...All on antiTrump posts...now I am back on restriction. Second time in a month. Guess I better give up.
I love using Instagram to discover new things that I didn't know existed. I have a lot of unique items that I own because of discovery on Instagram and things still on my want list.
I also love using it to see pictures of cute animals, cool places to visit and even just seeing all things cute, something I love more than anything.
But...here are the things I find highly annoying about Instagram.
First of all, when I first signed up back in 2020. My account got flagged for suspicious activity. First of all, I did not know what I did wrong, which is highly irritating.
Just recently with my new updated account (I had several in the past and stopped using them because I couldn't keep up) besides the point, I was leaving a company that was very supportive and helpful to me, a kind message thanking them for their support.
Instagram had the nerve to flag my message calling it a violation for trying to receive likes. First of all, this is untrue and very far from my intention. I wanted to let the company that was helpful to me, know that I appreciated their support.
Things like that are super frustrating and annoying. For one, if you break community guidelines you can get your account shut down. I do not want my account to get shut down when I have done nothing wrong. It would be different if I went on the account to do nonlegitimate actions. I am not doing such a thing, I mind my own business, do my thing, and compliment and say nice things to other people's posts.
Instagram needs to fix its violation system because I looked at their community guidelines and what they had listed, I did not do any of it.
As I mentioned, it is irritating and frustrating to get your account deleted by Instagram when you know you did nothing.
Went for a touch up and cut. Cut uneven, Touchup too dark and not matched my color. I told owner and person doing my hair. A day later after friends commented how badly my hair looked I called to speak to her, employees refused to let me talk to her. I texted this woman and she could not even call back. I just wanted it fixed. I paid 100.00 for a procedure that left me depressed and looking horrific. An owner that can not return a simple call and fix an issue that would probably take 10 minutes, is not concerned about customer retention. I traveled from NY to NJ in my daughters recommendation because she, so far has been satisfied with service by the owner. I was having surgery and they refused to accommodate me. Very disappointed. The root touch up lasted: weeks, I could have used same Target product and find it myself for 18.00.
I see women post half naked photos on Instagram and as soon as I say something it gets removed? Like there was a girl that posted a coochie pic with 1500 likes and as soon as I posted "gross" it got removed for "harassment" like these nasty women can post naked pics but as soon as I say it's disgusting I get sensored?
THEY REMOVED MY ARTWORK CONTENT AND ALL MY ARTWORK IN ADDITION, WRITINGS WAS ON THAT PAGE. I AM AN ARTIST AND A WRITER
SHUT THIS $#*! THE $#*! DOWN FOR FALSELY ACCUSING CUSTOMER OF NOT USING THERE APP THE RIGHT WAY AFTER I HAD MY ACCOUNT FOR ALMOST 10+ YEARS. SHAME ON YOU INSTAGRAM now all of my memories are gone.
A scammer cloned my account with my own screen name with "_" added at the end. This was YEARS ago. I've had everyone I know report it to get it down, I've reported it MULTIPLE times, I've tried everything to get it down. I have young children and work for the state that I live in. I do not want something like that out there tricking people in to thinking I'm doing sex work. It should be ILLEGAL to allow this. Instagram also allows violent videos of murder, child pornography and pedophiles to thrive on their platform. They don't care as long as they're making their ad revenue. It's absolutely disgusting.
I use this app for business and helping people in my community with their questions. It seems anytime I try to comment to help people ig removes them as spam. I can't even comment on my wife's posts. I am just going to go to yourube where I can actually leave comments for people. Ig sucks
Any comment is marked as spam. Reporting racist comments against white people somehow isn't spam and is ok. Another trash liberal agenda company
