I am a mainframe professional who took the Hadoop training from Intellipaat. I got to know the fundamentals of Hadoop 2.7 and YARN. I can now write applications on them now. In Amazon EC2 I can setup pseudo node and multi node cluster. The specialty in Intellipaat training is that they have hands-on exercise after every topic. I got great satisfaction learning the Hive indexing, map side join in Hive, Hive UDFs. I got to know about basic imports and export operations in sqoop, improving Sqoop performance, the limitations of Sqoop, Flume and its Architecture, HBase, the CAP theorem. I have a firm grasp over concepts in HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Sqoop, Flume, Zookeeper, HBase. I now know how to write Spark applications using Scala, the detailed study of Scala, the need for it. I got aware of the roles and responsibilities of a Hadoop professional through the self paced videos. I am now very happy with the way the training has gone.
