Ok, people keep talking about all this "oh no don't use this site because money! Scam!" The site asks for your money for an in-depth evaluation. You get your test score via email.
Also, I can't guarantee the validity, it seems more of something to make you think... It's mainly math, but I've never taken a real IQ test before.
I mean, I thought the test was pretty conclusive. Made me FEEL smart with an iq of 135, although I'm not sure how accurate that was. Reading a specific previous post led me to believe it was reliable, but who knows?
No, you don't have to pay the $ for the results, they sent it directly to my email. When the "Pay $ for extensive results" popped up, I just looked online to see if there was a way around it. Turns out, they send your score anyway, & that was just to delve a little deeper on your results, aka squeeze a penny or two out of you.
It's good. Take the test!
Anyone that gave the the test one star is certified as having a low IQ. Someone with a high IQ would have researched the reviews of this website first BEFORE wasting their time taking it. They would have verified if there was a cost to get the answers.
So there you go... your certified stupid. Don't worry I'm not being mean. I got duped too. I guess I'm not hat smart either.
People moan about this website without reading it properly. You have to pay to get an in-depth explanation of your score. You get your actual IQ test by email immediately. This doesn't speak much for the problem-solving or analytical abilities of some people, so their scores were probably crap. However the test scores seem to come in high, I scored about 144 a couple of years ago and 145 today. Other websites tend to score me 135-144.
The worst site, I have ever known... It didn't have even a word about charges at first, after we complete the whole test and eagerly waiting for the score, asking us to pay... It is really CHEATING... hate this

I did the test on my phone and thought the browser didn't correctly load and lead me directly to the "pay 15$ to get your results" page before seeing my score. But the score was sent to my mail and as others say, they don't force you to pay a cent. Their blog has some decent information too. I'm not sure about the score I got as it's much higher than I expected but it kinda aligns with scores from other tests I did in the past.
The Google ad I clicked on says "free test", and while this is technically correct, the results are $15 and you are not told until you take the full 10-15 minute test. Waste of my time. Site itself needs some work for mobile.

Don't waste your time. If you search 'iq test' on google it comes up first saying "Free test with information on intelligence testing and history thereof. Additional detailed reports are available for a fee." But that is very misleading. The site doesn't tell you until AFTER you have taken the test that you must PAY to see the results of the test.

If you want to score high just answer the questions as fast as possible. Right or wrong doesn't matter. Took it a few times to check it. First time I took it like I should and got 145. Second time I raced through giving same answers got 147. Third time I raced through giving all wrong answers and got 149. So giving all wrong answers fast means you have a higher IQ than answering them slightly slower but correctly. Get real.
Updating my review after the liar that responded from the site said I took it elsewhere. Added the email I got.
Your original test with a score of 145 seems perfectly legitimate.
But if you gave all wrong answers, it wouldn't matter how quickly you did the test, you would not get a score of 149.
You were not provided with the answers, so you don't know which answers you got right on any of your tests.
Correct answers are more important than the time.
This website is garbage, not a real IQ test, and they want you to pay money for results. Some of the questions were actual gibberish and the rest had nothing to do with measuring your IQ.

Answer: If you look at the chart explaining scores in the FAQ at IQTest.com (How well did I do? What does my score mean?) you'll see how the scores are distributed and how your score compares with scores of others. IQ tests are designed so that the average score will be 100. The highest score you can achieve on our test is 156. A score of 99 would be almost exactly average. Our test was designed for native English speakers. If you do not speak English very well, your score will be lower than it would be if you took a test in your native language. If you are under the age of 16, you'll get a more valid score on a test designed for children your age. Age is not factored into the scoring of our test, but it is an important factor in tests for those under 16. Adult IQ scores usually remain constant over a lifetime. Common sense would tell us that if a child scores well on an adult test, then his IQ score would probably be even higher on a test designed for children his age. But we have done the research only on adults, so we can't say for sure that our test produces valid scores for those under 16.
Answer: The team of psychologists who created the test at IQTest.com were given the task of developing a valid, reliable, and fun test that could be taken online. This was a new thing in 1994 when the test first went online. Not just any test can be taken online. Most of the tests found online today do not give valid IQ scores. The most recent versions of the Stanford-Binet and the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale have the same standard deviation as our test, i. E., 15, and will produce scores that can be compared to the scores received on our test. We offer the test as entertainment because we cannot control the test environment, but many people who know their scores from either the Stanford-Binet or the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale tell us that they scored within a few points of their previous scores when they took our test.

Answer: Hi Lynette, Call the number on the back of your credit card and tell them that you were charged without your permission. They can cancel the charge.
Answer: Maria-- I think you have taken a test at a different website, IQTESTNOW.ORG. You are lucky that this site did not accept your credit card. Your description of your experience in the review you wrote leads me to believe that you were almost a victim of their scam, which involves making additional charges of $39 or more to your card after the initial small charge of $1.95. Please review IQtestnow.org instead of IQTest.com.
Answer: Hi Marvie, The charge of $69 is not from IQTest.com. We do not ever employ collection agencies. I think you should check out IQTESTNOW.ORG, as they are well known for their fraudulent charges. If you would like to discuss this further, you can reach me at contact@iqtest.com. A charge from IQTest.com would show on your credit card or PayPal statement as a charge from Autumn Group/IQTest.com.
Answer: The BMI test is not affiliated in any way with IQTest.com. If you have questions about the test at BMI, you should direct your questions to the BMI website.
Answer: The free general IQ is emailed to the address you enter on the registration page following the test. We offer a Complete Personal Intelligence Profile for $14.95, but it is not required to get your score. If you send me an email at support@iqtest.com and let me know that you didn't get your score, I'll send It out to you again.

We offer a detailed analysis of your score for $14.95, but it is not required to see the free general IQ score.
