Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.

Ordered Rainjacket that they said wa in stock and would go out that day to be delivered for a upcoming ride. Label wa created but not shipped as promised. Called next day to cancel then again the day after and both time they said it would be cancelled. Called a third time before it was shipped but again would not stop it and shipped it anyaway the day it was origiginal promenade to be delivered. Was told to have ups redirect it to where Id be on the trip. Seriously. Have phone logs, email and screenshots to back this up. Avoid this company looks the plague. Unethical, untruthful could care less about there customers. Alex
Ordered tire got charged for tire twice they say I had ordered the first time and card was not accepted which was true so redid again and accepted but they sad they had hold on my order which they held 149$ then held another 149$ intill I received the item. Makes no sense

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
Terry, I apologize for any confusion and headache surrounding your order. What you are seeing is the initial pre authorization and then the actual charge. Depending on the bank the autho can show out of your account like an actual charge, but those generally fall off in 3-5 business days. I hope this helps clear up the frustration.
