Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
Easy to find possible parts and easy to verify fitment. I know I can find the sheet metal in advance to paint fenders, etc. a different color.
Past experience
I need them

Motorcycle parts

Very extensive inventory as well as a good selection. Fitment is perfect.
Very reputable.
It fits my bike and the look I wanted.
Stopped into J&P store in sturgis and was looking accerories for my Indian motorcycle and found nothing on hand and had to educate the salesman that { Kuryakyn} they indeed make bag lights for my motorcycle. Did eventually find online and ordered online. They did arrive fairly quick.
A friend wanted to go there.
I had seen a video on you tube where somebody had installed them on their bike and they looked pretty good ya.
Always a great experience Items arrived quickly and well packed. I'm a customer for life!
Been shopping with them for over 25 years
Ordering was easy shipping was fast and product fits perfectly and looks good
I'm a repeat customer
Was in need of a new oil cap
Great place to buy parts I buy from here and one outher a little more because they do have better prices without paying for club fees
When they have better prices
When you have better prices
They have great service and the shipping was there before they said it was great
Needed to return the phone chargers wouldn’t fit the phones
They had what I wanted
Couldn’t find it anywhere else and get it to me in time for vacation
The mirrors I purchased were way too small for any application in my opinion. I wouldn't put them on a bicycle, let alone a motorcycle. Not safe!
Needed a blue dot tail light lens for my 88' Heritage and JP had it in stock. Looks and works great with the James gasket I ordered with it. Very pleased with my purchase as usual.
Long history with JP and no bad purchases yet.
The only blue dot lens on my bike I did not have.
I bought a Saddlemen Explorer seat and was unable to attach the mount correctly. When inserting the bolts they would only go in halfway. The rivnut inside the seat just spun from that point making it unable to completely insert the bolt or remove it.
After contacting JP Cycles they said I over torqued the bolts and refused to replace the seat. How do you over torque a bolt that only goes in halfway?
I'll never buy from JP Cycles or their sister companies Revzilla or Cycle Gear again. I really like my local Cycle Gear shop too but bad customer service is a deal breaker.
Customer services was prompt and courteous.
Unfortunately, after contacting JP Cycles they said I over torqued the bolts and refused to replace the seat. How do you over torque a bolt that only goes in halfway?
I thought they were reputable. I was wrong.
Saddleman Explorer
Rating went to ZERO. Due to having to type a response!

Online Superstore for motorcycle parts for Harley, GoldWing, V-Twin, & Metric bikes.
John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
