Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
I have found that ordering products from J&P is as good as it gets. Items are easy to order and delivered very quickly. Returns are a breeze. They are my go to guys for motorcycle parts.

Ordered new Vance & Hines exhaust and exhaust gaskets, order was broken into two shipments. Exhaust was delivered fast by UPS, exhaust gaskets were delivered by USPS and took over a week to receive.
USPS tracking isn't user friendly, very vague information such as moving through the system.? Customer service did what she could, she followed up on the delay and stayed in touch. In Hine site, I should've just drove to the HD dealer and purchased the needed gaskets and returned JP cycles gaskets.

Horrible experience, lied to, horrible customer service and will not stand behind their products. Will purchase all other items from anywhere else. Never again will I place an order with j&p cycles.
Haven't open it yet, it's a Christmas gift.so when I do I will come back with a statement on it. I did appreciate that fast delivery I got. My son will be very happy with this.

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
