Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
Great product well-packaged and delivered as described. I ordered a couple of small accessories that could have easily been sent in the same package but were delivered separately a few days later.

I needed the oil dip stick
Was trying to find the right bezel light that gave the look I wanted and that also provided something a little different than buddy's bike. Went with stainless grill. Got them really fast, they look great and have gotten severe complaints. Installation was easy
Ordered clutch and brake levers and was thrilled with the products.
The package was cut open and taped shut. It doesn't look like they were installed but I would consider that an open box but I paid full price.

Nice looking and what I needed
Handlebar came delivered in a box that was at least four times the size required. There was no packing to fill the void so the handlebar just bounced around loosely during shipping. All the box seams tape were split and barely holding the box together. Thankfully the bar was wrapped with a foam rubber sleeve.

Ordered two parts; one of which was in stock and I received it in three days. The other part had to come from across the country; and I still had it in seven days. J&P has received my business for years, and will continue to as long as I'm able to still wrench and ride.

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
