“Wrong schematics”

Trying to find a wiring diagram for my 2021 Ford Ranger. Was sent nice colored schematics, which turned out to be incorrect. In all fairness, the Ford dealership didn't have the right schematics either. Nothing seem to match the vehicle. We identified the proper wire by using the pin that it was attached to rather than the color of the wires, which were not correct by either person.

Andre with HVAC was a Godsend. Using pictures and text, he talked me through diagnosing my thermostat and Smarthub issues, then helped me bypass the faulty communication thermostat so we could have AC in June. He gave me a recommendation for another thermostat, then when it arrived the following week, he talked me through wiring it properly and now we're back in business with a functioning thermostat, all for less than it would have cost to have a technician show up. He was very patient and very helpful, and achieved through me something that I would have had no idea how to fix otherwise (with lots of pictures sent back and forth). I shudder to think of how much the service call(s) would have cost to have a technician first diagnose, then replace the faulty equipment (just pricing it without installation was going to be over $900). I am very grateful to him for his help and would recommend him to everyone.

We did a diagnostic visual review on some of the components. The mechanic did some research and found out that there was a bulletin issued on these vehicles for the air-conditioning lines freezing up, therefore warm air started to blow. The vehicle is at long enough for the lines to thaw out and started to work again. It was nice to know that there is a bulletin out and that we can go to the dealership and have it fixed under warranty.

The mechanic was very thorough on his questioning as we walked through the process of determining what the issue might be.
