“Wrong schematics”

Trying to find a wiring diagram for my 2021 Ford Ranger. Was sent nice colored schematics, which turned out to be incorrect. In all fairness, the Ford dealership didn't have the right schematics either. Nothing seem to match the vehicle. We identified the proper wire by using the pin that it was attached to rather than the color of the wires, which were not correct by either person.

I was looking to get 1 question answered. I was on the instant chat and was told it was $5 fee to discuss my question with an attorney. She then said while I match you with an attorney I send you a link to pay.
Never mentioned a $60 Membership. I was lead to a payment screen put my payment in and today there was a $60 monthly fee!
I emailed customer service immediately and asked for a refund! I was to they could cancel membership but no refund because I asked a question already! Of course I asked a question I was told it was $5 for a question. I hate misleading places like this
All I wanted and needed was one question answered now I'm out $60 which is a hardship for me.

I spent 2 days scouring the internet trying to find the solution to my PowerPoint problem. I tried everything, but nothing work. I was desperate because I needed the PowerPoint presentation for work. The technician at JustAnswer had me email the PowerPoint presentation to him, and he fixed it in minutes and returned it to me. Not only that, but he also explained what the glitch was and how I could fix it in the future.

The tech was able to decode dtc messages and was completely right! Took the truck into the dealership and they said my transmission was low on oil?
The tech called it right to make along story short and it was
A crankcase oil sending unit.

Not clear and transparant as to what you're giving your cc details for. Asked 1 question and they used my CC details to sign me up to a subscription without authorisation. Have not used it past that one question and they have no interest in doing the right thing. Scammers, taking money without authority.

Tip for consumers:
Make 100% sure you know what they're doing with your CC. Even if you don't create an account they take money from your CC. I didn't even have an account to cancel but they happily charged my card multiple times.

Provided information that I need to make a decision whether to continue to repair a major appliance or purchase a new one

I replaced the bake heating element on our very nice Kitchenaid wall oven, but it still did not heat. Just answer helped me identify that the control board had a failed component. I am currently trying to have the control board repaired as it is no longer manufactured.

I went to Bugera amps to find out is they had a part available. Bugera sent me to Bugera/just answers for a tech answer. Was told it would be a $1.00 for a simple yes or no question. When I went to pay they tried to charge me $56.00 for a simple yes or no question. When I wanted to go back to the on line assistant to find out why I was blocked from doing so. I will not pay anyone $56.00 for a simple yes or no answer to do you have a part. Screw you Just Answers! No one should ever use these jerks.
Shame on Bugera for using them for parts availability questions.

Tip for consumers:
Never use Just answers, ever!!!!!

Products used:
None at that price. Switched from $1.00 to $56.00 without my consent.

I was looking for someone to help me with my singer sewing machine that had broke. The lady was very helpful. I was charged $5.00 for a membership fee. Then three days later, I was charged another $30.00 for a membership fee. I called and was told they wouldn't refund my money. They said I should have read the fine print. How come some people can get away with tricking people like that? Why not be honest from the get go and let us know we're going to be charged extra. I would have canceled right then. You do that to get people's money and that is wrong. You won't get my business again for being deceitful. People who are honest, don't act like you!

I used the same lawyer over and over to ask questions and get answers and she went over and beyond her means to help me. I will be calling her next week for some more questions to matters I know nothing about...

I used Just Answer for a question about my pregnancy that was really stressing me out. I was really hoping to get answers immediately - before my doctor's offive opened - to put my mind at ease. The response was basically that she couldn't give me an answer of any kind without seeing me in the clinic. So I'm not sure why they offer the service at all if it's not possible to provide answers on that platform. I called my doctor the next day and she gave me a clear physiological reason that my concern was not valid/possible, and there's nothing to worry about. And the charge was not clear upfront. I was only aware of the $5 membership but saw a $46 charge on my card today. Don't depend on this platform for any kind of medical or health advice, even for basic questions.

Fraudulent.
It charges 30 per month without you realising. You enter on a membership you literally never suscribe to and won't get a refund.
Please do not enroll, it is terrible and so is their customer service.
They'll silently charge you till you realise

After reading your comments I was scared! But when I went to check my e-mail, I had an answer within 30 minutes. I was needing to reset my camera and the "expert" was accurate, very easy to understand, and best of all, it worked! I had tried to go by the on-line manual and couldn't figure it out! I also tried to find a camera shop to help me but they had closed. So this was a very well spent $16 in my opinion!

While information from the legal professionals is useful, beware the fee. Maybe I need to be more aware of fine print, but I thought the first question was $1. I was wrong. The first question begins a recurring $46 monthly payment. The $1 seems to be a lure.

I had a great experience using it for the first time yesterday when I had a question for a veterinarian. The vet that I was paired with gave me a detailed explanation that has helped my lil dry coughing kitty already.

On Saturday evening about 8:30 pm, my little 9 year old toy schnauzer had just come in side and was running fast and wanting to play. He ran up to me then turned around to run and about 6 feet from me, he fell in the floor with his legs kicking, he was gasping for air and was gagging and choking. He also lost control of his bowels. My wife and I were really scared and were unable to get hold of a local vet (we have 3 vets in our small town). I was lucky to find Just Answer, and Dr Michael Salkin online. Dr. Salkin is a caring pet doctor and was able to comfort us and explain what had happened to our little dog. He explained exactly what had happened and what we could do. He also said for us to have him checked out at our local veterinary as soon as possible, which we did and everything is alright now. Our 9 yr old "puppy is back to normal and doing fine. Thank you again Dr. Michael Salkin and JustAnswer. I highly recommend this service.

Jason was great was able to advise and fix problem. I had a XP computer and could not figure out why I could not access Itunes. Jason found that Itunes does not support Xp so unable to sign on to account.

I have an antique that belonged to my mother and I needed to know its history and value. I sent JustAnswer a description and photos, and an expert responded within minutes with the exact information I was looking for. She was professional and prompt. I also appreciated that the charge was optional based on how satisfied I was with the service. It's a win win.

JustAsk is a scam. For one, they charged me for a subscription which I cancelled within the hour of signing up, but they refused to refund me the money. The question I did ask was not answered correctly. It is misleading and inaccurate. The customer service is not helpful and they will not admit fault. Do not trust this website.

I want to start off saying the advice I got was excellent. The organization that stands behind the expert seems to be a different story. It was difficult to get to the expert - it seemed like I was always diverted to a sales pitch. I thought I had paid for a limited trial, but I got charged a second time and I don't believe it was what I chose. I was surprised and disappointed with the extra charge.

Don't believe the ads... it's very misleading. They say you only get charged $5.00 but that's just the sign-up fee and they automatically charge you the subscription fee. They say it's refundable, until you want a refund.

No problem for me using Just Answer again for any computer or other connectable device. I am not completely computer illiterate but they had my problem sorted quickly. It was lucky I new my way around my machine.
