“Wrong schematics”

Trying to find a wiring diagram for my 2021 Ford Ranger. Was sent nice colored schematics, which turned out to be incorrect. In all fairness, the Ford dealership didn't have the right schematics either. Nothing seem to match the vehicle. We identified the proper wire by using the pin that it was attached to rather than the color of the wires, which were not correct by either person.

They advertise as a service, and you tell them that you'll get back to them later. Then they say for $2 you can join and we can help. On joining they slug you with a $66 membership fee that you don't approve of.
BTW their advice was amateurish to say the least!

Tip for consumers:
Don’t use them.
They are amateurish in there advice
And use a $2 joining fee as a means to charge you $66, which they do not clearly state, but hide in all the ‘fine print’

I signed up for and authorized the $1 membership. After I gave them my credit card, they charged me $46, which I did not authorize. They sent an email claiming that the $1 fee was "waived" because I was a member previously. They did not tell me this before the expert answered the question.

Service provides a method for getting answers to legal questions in various categories of law. My experience was great! I stated my Employment Law situation and question, and I received immediate answers that enabled me to know whether I had a legitimate claim and the approach I should take moving forward. The phone call option is great, but a bit overpriced.

I asked a question regarding tax on funds sent from abroad to UK as a gift. The answer was not satisfactory regarding details on if /when tax is applicable. The site mentions a 7 day free trial but I was still charged for the minimal deposit. I changed my mind immediately after paying the deposit and did not open the response until 3 days later as I assumed my cancellation had gone through. I was notified that the deposit and 34 GBP ( because the expert had answered) had been deducted from my account because I had ticked the t&c box- you have to do this before you can ask a question. I would not recommend this service and fear that as the t&c are not clear and they have access to my bank details, that I will be charged in future. I have tried to unsubscribe to the service but have not had any confirmation that this has been done

Our dryer stopped working. It was a few days after Thanksgiving, had company for a week... lots of laundry. Have limited time to be home waiting for a repair person, plus, the cost involved. Checked on Yutube, read Sears manual, took off exhaust hose, (a bear), did everything I could think of all to no avail. Within minutes my expert told me what to do, and Presto! Dryer working again!

We're working on an overfeeding problem with my kitties. The vet nurse is sympathetic and responsive and even followed up to see how they're doing. I highly recommend this great resource for fast answers to pet questions/problems!

I've had two unresolved legal issues, and since people with disabilities are treated less than illegal immigrants, finding representation has been a nightmare. I saw this site hoping I can find someone, but instead they've taken a hundred dollars for information any high school graduate would know, and suggested action I've already done. Don't trust these people to represent you, as I only received one call and a week later I was charged 46 bucks and given an email saying he wouldn't represent. They stole from me again after I responded I've already done their suggestion. This is a complete scam, do not give them your information

Be prepared to have your charge card abused after the initial 5 dollar sign up fee.

I had an issue with my dog, so I type a question in a moment of panic. The expert got back to me 12 hours later. It was a vet and she asked relevant questions. By then my problem was solved. I got an easy "refund" though. And, I had no trouble with customer service. I would use this service again if the question is not an emergency. I also suggest to the company that they advertise that payment is due when the question is answered not when "satisfied". It was confusing.

Sorry for the confusion about the good faith deposit. An initial $5 deposit is required at the time the question is posted and the balance of the question price is collected once an Expert responds to the question.

This information regarding the deposit is displayed on the page where the customer is prompted to submit their payment details and questions are posted only when the customer acknowledges and accepts the payment terms.

An Expert responded to your question which is why you received a charge for the balance due, however, the Expert isn't paid unless you’re satisfied with the help received and rate the service accordingly.

I received a message saying "we will be not moving forward with your application". I was unable to upload my resume and this may have affected their decision. I work as a content writer for some of the world's top environmental scientific entrepreneurs. From my position Just Answers is trash.

This site sucks, cancelled my membership right away, but they still charge me the monthly fee because of some fine print bull$#*! I did not read carefully enough. Seems there are other negative reveiws about this site, so I am not the only one complaining. Use a local search instead to find help, they provide a much better service and you can actually speak to someone from your area.

Dealership quote for work on my daughters older car came back extremely high which was almost 1/3 of cars value. Service advisor did offer "deal" of $200 discount but something told me still needed second opinion so sure wasn't being overcharged. I did a desperate google search which is when I found this website. Eric the mechanic responded immediately to all my questions with an estimate $200 less. Armed with this knowledge I called dealership back and they amazingly matched the quote by discounting another $200. Best $20 I ever spent!

Wildly overcharges I made attempts to cancel my membership they would not provide a refund. Got charged $35 to answer one question. Customer service team is rude and lacks empathy. Just a disgusting experience overall disappointed that these business practices are allowed to exploit consumers in this way. Shamefully unethical organization.

Saved me from making a big mistake on a structural engineering problem. Several builders indicated that it "looks like it 'should' work." JustAnswer presented the facts that things wouldn't work as planned. Maybe not the absolute final answer, but excellent guidance! Would use again for any type of question.

A total and absolute scam. Money up front (best use Paypal as you can cancel it). Could not help me with a computer problem for $38. I didn't press the helpful button which would have meant the chap got paid. Strangely, I was directed to the site by Microsoft Support. My own computer with Vipre antivirus blocks the site as being of potentially harmful content, but my wife's computer which had the problem has AVG antivirus. I get emails almost every other day saying "Hey, I answered your question where's my money" sort of language. NEVER give them your credit card details.

I asked a legal question a few months ago when I got on the site I thought it was six dollars I asked the question I looked on my bank statement and it was I've been billed twice for $60 each. When I asked for a refund they said no it was in the fine print. They charge $60 a month. I would not recommend this company as their billing practices are less than upfront

This is just a robot site. There is no one to answer your questions. I asked specifically for a rabbit vet but they don't have one. I need a prescription filled and they can't do that either. They want to charge $35 per month but they can't even help you with a simple question or a prescription. What good are they? I would not recommend this sight for exotics. They are specifcally listed as a rabbit vet online but have no one to answer questions about them.

This "company" is a SCAM. I called 1800 727 139 to notify them of my mothers death and to cancel her membership. They continued to take $66.00 from her account for two months after her death. When I contacted this company to refund the $132.00 back into the deceased persons account. I was told they had no record of my call, and I was given multiple excuses as to why there would not be a refund. JustAnswer is a SCAM.

Asked JustAnswer for a question on art value. In the short, the did a very poor job informing me of the process and communicating with me. In 2-1/2 hours I got two lines from the "expert". "What is your name" and "Nice to meet you". Then I got all sort of run around from their customer service and finally they just cut the e_chat off. No help just frustration! Will never use them again. This is my first ever negative review, so it was really a bad experience. Beware?

My little Coton ate a cooked veal bone that I was ignorant enough to have given him. Dr. Altman's suggestions were non-hysterical: give him some bread to cushion possible bone fragments, take him for a walk, repeat, feed him rice and chicken to bulk up stool, be on the lookout for blood or voimiting. I say this is sensible because I saw the response of another vet to an almost identical complaint; he was sure that surgery would probably be necessary. It's about 24 hours later; I've done what Dr. Altman recommended, and my dog seems fine.
