“Wrong schematics”

Trying to find a wiring diagram for my 2021 Ford Ranger. Was sent nice colored schematics, which turned out to be incorrect. In all fairness, the Ford dealership didn't have the right schematics either. Nothing seem to match the vehicle. We identified the proper wire by using the pin that it was attached to rather than the color of the wires, which were not correct by either person.

Once you ask your question you have one week to cancel your subscription but you may find out later that your cancelation did not "take". You will receive no invoices or notifications after that and will get a $46 per month charge despite never using the service. I was burned for months with this, never using the service, until I happened to notice this on my credit card statement. This is how they make their money. Unless you have occasion to seek input daily, this is not a safe service to deal with. They will not refund back past 90 days.

For me this was a ripoff.

This site is definitely a scam. I was charged 34.99. Two separate charges $5 and then $29.00 immediately, after they responded to my question with do you want legal advise by phone for an additonal $54.00. They did not even answer my question at all.

And so I told them I would dispute the charge with my cc on MOnday. Definitely a scam

Worst customer support!
Their site leaked over 4000 peoples name, address and phone numbers (including those not listed publicly) and when I contacted them via chat and then 6 times via email, I just got the same useless questions and responses stating they couldn; t find my account. I told them so many times that I'm not a customer and the leaked info is accessible publicly, but they repeated same thing again, that they cannot find my account. Waste of time... will ping those 4000 users to leave a one star review here and everywhere

JustAnswer is a customer paid question and answer website and serves as a public forum. Due to this, questions, answers, and other posts on JustAnswer are available for others to see. The question that you've referenced was posted by a 3rd party.

I have removed the information as you requested. While the question can still show up in a Google Search, the link will only direct to the edited question with the requested information removed. The reason it still shows up as a link is that Google stores a cached version of the page, so this will continue to show up on their search results until they recrawl our site and change their cache. This happens every few weeks.

Requests to removed cached items take even longer than waiting for the cache to expire. The best course of action is to simply wait until Google re-crawls the site and let it correct itself then.

I have used this site twice now for veterinary advice and found it to be extremely helpful both times. I have gone through a particularly traumatic time the past few months, due to having to say good-bye to my beloved cat, Luke, and the vets I dealt with, most recently Rebecca, were wonderful, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. I couldn't ask for anything more.

So worth the money! I use this for legal advice all the time it's better than $105,000 I spent on worthless "famous" lawyers in Atlanta. They are quick, they are accurate, they provide the best advice. They outdo my lawyers. I couldn't live without them. I'm currently going through a horrible divorce and fraudulent temporary protection order, felony charges. They've saved my life!

These folks have NO imagination, and their efforts will be underwhelming, at best. The intellectual laziness I received was not what I expected. They put ZERO effort into resolving an issue and instead gave simplistic, rote answers to 'fill-in-the-blanks' and justify the overcharging for less than mediocre service. I found a great solution that actually worked and NONE of the three lawyers at JustAnswer could conceive of suggesting this simple answer. Don't expect these folks to 'think outside the box' they created for themselves.

Tip for consumers:
Don't waste your money or time on these folks. I got better advice from my barber.

They advertise that they can get answers to common questions from experts, and that it costs a $1 "fully refundable" fee, but then they enroll you in a $40+ membership without warning and when you complain or contest it, they won't offer a refund. They know this is intentionally misleading, it's their business model, but they don't care.

If you got scammed by them, file a BBB complaint. It seems to be the only way to get your money back.

Tip for consumers:
The quality of answers is generic; not worth the money. There are better, less scammy telehealth services available.

This is the second time that I have turned to Just Answer for help with our ML320. First time was air conditioning issue and just by replacing a fuse we saved over $900 (estimate from Mercedes' team) This time was wheel alignment when we were told "there is nothing wrong with the car. Meanwhile we started hearing the squeaking sound on the turn, right after the front tire rod was replaced/fixed. Thank you, thank you to your mechanic.

I was skeptical at first using this site. I googled every possible reason why my dog had a small lump near his rib cage and I freaked out.

This has been already covered, so I'm adding my voice to the chorus of all complaints: the website, and the AI chat assistant CLEARLY tell you that you are joining and having your question answered for $5, but actually charging $65. Somehow, in the payment process, they are slipping in an extra $60 on you.

This extra bit WILL NOT be refunded. As others will note, customer service reps pretty much just tell you it's your own fault for not looking closely enough. Weirdly, I was told that my phone call asking for a refund was as good as a membership cancellation (to which I answered, "yes, definitely, I'm cancelling"). Otherwise, apparently, it would be an ongoing monhtly.

Total chicanery. I wish I could say, "At least I'm not the only one," but I kind of wish I was. JustAnswer should not be getting away with this,

My question was very specific regarding the location of a vacuum line on my Mercedes. I provided very detailed information, including pictures. The mechanic assigned to answer the question was not experienced or familiar with Mercedes. He provided documentation for the vacuum system but for a complete difference Mercedes engine. After a day, he opted out, and a new mechanic contacted me. This mechanic was also not experienced or familiar with Mercedes. After wasting another few hours with this mechanic, I called it quits and moved on.

Display wasn't working up to par and they gave it a go with suggested downloads and with much anticipation I still could not get display to brighten up. So for just 5$ 's more I gave the specialist full remote control of my computer which I could see everything and everywhere he explored to try and help find a remedy and within minutes he looked at all software updates and was satisfied that all was updated and concluded it was a hardware break down and within 48 hours all monies were returned. My dog ate a pound of butter. I learned how serious this is by talking to the on line vets. I took my dog to a local ER and found out he was dehydrated and had elevated levels of sodium from the salted butter. He had to stay overnight but he will be fine. Very grateful for their help.

I got diverted to their site by, of all companies, Bank of Montreal. I was locked of my account "to protect your money". I saw the $ 1.00 refundable fee. Told them to shove it and incurred a further $ 67.00 charge. Told the Bank to Credit
My Account or I'll move. Nobody deserves or needs these crap masters.

Called for high blood sugar symptoms but doctor was not able to help me. After I said, I am going to the ER, then he/she agreed. The fee was not refunded and you are actually agreeing to a membership rather than to a one time fee. Called multiple times to complain and get my money back but they refused.

I was a little hesitant about using the site and having to give my credit card information up front. I started by emailing but once I started emailing back and forth with the expert, I asked for a phone call which happened in minutes. I found the whole experience very worthwhile and would use it again in the future.

Asked a question and was not given a satisfactory answer, did not opt to subscribe but on checking bank statements have been charged a monthly subscription. Noticing this after 2 payments had gone out, i then revisited the site and followed the procedure to make sure i was not a subscriber, have had another 4 monthly payments taken out to a total of £342. Have sent emails and made phone calls but to no avail.

My problem had to do with my email being very slow to the point where it would sometimes take half a minute to send or receive. When I called Verizon, thinking that the error was in the Internet, I realized that the problem was with my chrome. Your agent told me what to do and I solve the problem within one minute by clearing out a lot of "garbage" that slowed up the process. Kudos!

Freezer was acting up and wouldn't keep things frozen. I had already checked a few things that I knew would be checked and provided the information necessary and received a prompt reply with my solution. Part ordered and Freezer is repaired. The tech who helped me not only gave me the a quick response, but also some details as to what was happening so I could look up the correct part and get it on it's way. Thanks so much. This site is a scam. I asked for an appraisal and the site indicated I would need to pay $1 for a membership to get started. I then received an appraisal from a person through text. (The quality of the appraisal is a different issue.) Nowhere did I see that they would then set me up for a monthly charge of $60, automatically renewed. After I found on my credit card site a $1 charge and a $60 charge, I read the terms and conditions. It is long, and I could not find any mention of a $60 charge, or a repeating charge. It does say once I am a member there can be other charges. I called to complain and the person was calm and polite but was not willing to refund my fee. He did cancel the membership and the automatic charge. I am glad I called because otherwise I would not have known about the repeating charge until next month. I do not recommend using this site.
