Ordered a dress from lucy in the sky in yellow. First of all it was yellow with lime green liner and the laces in back were lime green. Advertised a YELLOW. So we shipped the dress back as the color was awful. My daughter did not even try on. Then i receive it back after i returned it, saying it is 'stained'. There is absolutely not stain. I reached out to them via chat and they said there is nothing they can do about it and I'm not only stuck with the dress, i also paid extra for return shipping. When i told the representative it was terrible service and i was reporting to the better business bureau, she literally ended the chat and disconnected from me. Very immature and unprofessional. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this dress. I'm guessing from other reviews similar to this, they are in financial trouble and try to find any bogus reason not to honor returns. DO NOT ORDER FROM LUCY IN THE SKY. TERRIBLE QUALITY, NOT AS DESCRIBED AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE

After waiting months and passing the estimated ship date by weeks, we still don't have my daughter's dress. They don't answer their phone. They don't return emails. Their "live chat" is a bot that kicks you to email...nothing more. And, email is a loop they never answer. They are infuriating.

Absolutely horrible customer service - they accused me of wearing a dress that didn't even fit me and refused to refund me for it. Not to mention they only return for in-store credit. They must be extremely broke if they're not even issuing in-store credits and accusing me of wearing their dress and trying to return it. On top of that, it's very poor quality merchandise.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would! We ordered two dresses for my daughter's high school homecoming dance thinking that we would send either one or both of them back if they did not fit. One dress was green, the other white. Before the dresses arrived, we discovered that only Seniors were supposed to wear white to homecoming. When the package arrived, we DID NOT REMOVE THE WHITE DRESS FROM THE LUCY IN THE SKY PACKAGING and immediately returned it.

Then I received a message from Lucy in the Sky stating they were NOT issuing a refund and WERE SENDING THE DRESS BACK BECAUSE IT APPEARED TO HAVE BEEN WORN!

I have reached out several times to Lucy in the Sky, and big surprise, no response. We received a package today from them, which I am assuming is the white dress; however, I am NOT going to open it since I do plan on returning it back to them.

Parents -- DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

DON'T SHOP HERE! They will take your money and not send you any confirmation nor product. Been waiting for a refund since over a month ago. They told me it was in the bank and would be processed in 5 business days - it's now been 2 weeks. They stopped answering my mails too.? I'm filing a complaint with consumer protection!

FRAUDULENT COMPANY!

After months of waiting for my orders I requested a refund. Months later nothing still. Then they blocked my emails from sending any form of communication to their email. I have an ongoing dispute with visa for a refund. Don't waste ur time or money on this disappointment of a company trying to steal ur money.

Great shop for most dress needs!

Coming from someone who consistently wears a size XS, this site may not be for everyone because I often need to size up. Either do to the extreme shortness of the dresses or material that shows everything, I often size up for a more flattering fit. I think that's the one thing I would change regarding Lucy in the Sky.

Once you find that "perfect dress" from Lucy in the Sky, you won't regret pushing past the sizing issues. I've had good experiences with returns and exchanges, although it would be nice if refunds could be made to the initial payment method. The dresses I've found that do fit me are of great quality and typically work well for their intended purposes!

Bad customer service

A lot of back an forth emailing is required to get things right. I wrote an email that I wanted to change my order and keep only one out of three dress. I asked them to please send me two dresses and to refund the third one. In the end two dresses have been refunded and I haven't got my money back within 10 business days as they said. The quality of the dress isn't good either. I don't suggest shopping on Lucy in the sky, as beautiful as the dresses might look, their service is awful!

Waiting on refund
June 25, 2024

My daughter ordered a prom dress in March 2024.
After still not receiving the dress in May decided to cancel the order.
Was informed she would be getting a refund.
It is now June 25,2024 and she is STILL waiting on her refund.
Horrible customer service and will not use this company again.

Their clothes are the worst quality. Bought a dress and the shoulder straps came out on day 1. Dress came in torn. Customer service stopped responding to emails and were completely arrogant about it. Cost of the dress was $70...COMPLETE RIP OFF COMPANY! Dont waste your money. Should get negative stars

Poor Customer Service and Late Arrivals

Do NOT order from this company! I ordered a dress for my daughter more than a month prior to a wedding. The ship date was quoted as a month after the order. I kept the order because the item would still (or so I thought!) arrive prior to the event. When I didn't receive a notice that the item was shipped, I contacted the company. They replied that the dress wouldn't be ready to ship until two weeks AFTER the wedding had taken place. I asked them to cancel my order. They responded back and asked me if I'd like to confirm cancellation. I responded that I wanted them to cancel the order. I went out and bought my daughter a dress from Altered State. I just received a notice the day before the wedding that they shipped the dress anyway! Now I'm left with the hassle of paying to return it and waiting for a refund. Seriously not professional or trustworthy. Very poor customer service.

I cancelled my order because the shipment date was going to be 2 weeks after the day online stated. They said they would give me a refund. I've communicated with them multiple times and they keep giving me the run around & now it's been 6 weeks and I still don't have my refund they said multiple times would be processed. I think this store is a fraud and they do this so we give up and they don't have to refund us. Also fraudulent practice of having incorrect shipments dates online to allure buyers when they know it's incorrect.

Still don't have my refund!

I ordered 2 prom dresses for my daughter on 4/15/24 with a shipping date of 4/24/24. When the dresses still hadn't shipped as of 4/29/24 I emailed customer service. I was told they were back ordered and I could cancel my order and get a refund due to this. I requested the refund and they stated it would be processed within 10 business days. When I still hadn't received my refund as of 5/13/24 I again emailed customer service. I received a reply apologizing for the delay and was told the refund had been processed and to give my bank 2-3 days to process. Emailed again on 5/20/24 as I still didn't have my refund. Sent the same canned response. And now I'm getting no response to my emails, I don't have my refund and it's been almost a month, and there is no customer service phone number or live chat option. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and they have contacted Lucy in the Sky. I am owed $150 refund. I will never order from this company again. Buyer beware!

Ordered a bunch of dresses for my daughter to try on for prom. Don't see they only take returns for store credit. All the dresses were trashy and cheap. Now I have hundreds of dollars of credit at a cheap store.

Worst customer service

Took two months to receive, then they wouldn't let me return it. As working with customer service for 4 days and on the 5th, it passed the 14 day return policy. Unbelievable. Will no shop here again.

Their customer service is horrible! I placed an order in the beginning of June I got everything except two items I'm still waiting on those two items and I've been charged for them. They will not credit your original form of payment although they say they do. They will give you a merchandise credit that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Their dresses are cute but they run very small and if you have a big chest like me forget about it. And if you want to contact somebody it's virtually impossible they don't have a phone number you can call and they barely ever reply back by email. Whoever is running this company needs to take a class on how to run a business

Absolutely terrible

I ordered twice from this company, the first dress was of mediocre quality at best, as if someone made during their lunch break, but it came only after a few days. While "processing my second order they showed their true incompetence as a business. I emailed them 3 times to make sure they will honor the extended (4 weeks - who does that?!) shipping window. They kept giving me their answers as if they were coping them from some prompts, but continued promising I will receive the dress within the given window. Only after the end of the window they told me they will not be mailing the dress for another two weeks. I am still waiting. This is simply awful way of doing business. I wound never order from them again.

Stay away, you won't get your dress in time

Ordered a dress, it was promised to be here by 10/7, on 10/6 I spent 2.5 hours waiting for customer support to tell me it was delayed and would not ship until after the event for which it was ordered. Then they say that the refund will take another 13 business days. Website has no clue what they are doing or how to treat customers.
