Lume Deodorant

I wanted to try Lume so I bought it at Target. I tried it, the toasted coconut solid. I tried it on my underarms and under my breasts. By the second day I had big, red rash on my body where I had used Lume. It was itchy and hurt where skin touched.
I have not been allergic to any products in the past. I am out the $15 I paid.
The rash is slowly going away. Picture attached is when I first broke out

The claims of 72 hour odor control are completely exaggerated and incorrect. Additionally, when you apply it, the way they recommended, the product starts flaking and damage is clothing if you're wearing it over the deodorized area. I ordered it on Amazon, and when I tried to return it, I was told that the window for the returns was closed, and the company would not do anything, even as an exception, to take the product back because of its defects. Totally a fake and I would not recommend it. Having to throw away the product that I purchased because of the companies disregard for customer concerns.

Terrible smell of the Vanilla Cream and I have tried to contact customer service to exchange or return and no reply only they will get back to me. They have not. I ordered quite a lot from them. This is the only ones I wished to exchange or to return.

I purchase of tube of silver something I can't remember exactly the name but it didn't really do much at all. Then I purchased the wipes I like the smell of them but they sure do not do anything for the smell for even 24 hours

I thoroughly disappointed in this product and the hyperclaiming of "72 hrs of protection". Not only did it not work for me, it made me smell awful in the process. I faithfully tried all the tips and tricks and still had a terrible result. I wish I could get back those few months where I was self conscious about going near family and friends while using this product. I tried all three and am very disappointed in the product and the company. Wouldn't wish this stench on anyone. Rock crystal is a fraction of the cost and works much better!

I started using Lume about two months ago. I would apply it after my shower and it seemed to do the trick until I noticed that the next day my arm pits had an extremely bad odor. It was like nothing I had ever smelled on my person before. I was beginning to think that something was seriously wrong with my health as it completely changed my persona,for lack of a better word. It dawned on me that it might be from the deodorant so I switched back to my previous brand and the awful smell was gone. I believe that it somehow changes your body chemistry. Needless to say, I threw away the three bottles that I had on hand.

I hv been using this product for about 6 months and have been very pleased with the results. It has definitely met the points as advertised. I will say that the fragrance is not very intense but I don't want to hide my perspiration smell if it's not working. I simply do not have odor now. And it has been up to 72 hours between showers - to test the product actually. Well worth the money.

I have tried scented and unscented. Either way it smells awful. Also, it doesn't even last 24 hours, let alone 72 hours. I think the product is terrible and I will not use it again.
Too much hype, and not enough substance.

Omg I can't use it, it burn my skin so bad that I can't use any other deodorant, I try other Sents and it does the same thing, My under arm pits can't heal it hurt and it itch too I'm going to see a Dr. regarding this horrible issue I told lume and all they say change shaving blade but it doesn't have to do with blade is the product itself that burns me bad. If it get worse I'll take legal action against them

When I first started using lume I thought it was awesome but now I have a problem in my butt crack it's almost like it's thinned my skin out so bad that when I sit on the toilet or even moving the bed, it's like my skin rips back there and I've never had no problems and my whole life up until I started using lume.

There is nothing natural about a company that pushes folks to think that their natural smell is not natural and, in addition, is a bad thing. This company is just another corporation making money by making folks feel bad about themselves. Disgusting! Try empowering women, not putting them down for their natural odor(s).

Don't bother! I placed an order totaling $75.90 and Lume Deodorant debited my account and "nobody to contact" no customer service care and ripping people off! Going to report to BBB and my bank!

The reviews are interesting? Some say it works while others swear it doesn't. I purchased and tried the Lume body wash, the tube deodorant, the stick deodorant, the wipes, and the body butter lotion. I thoroughly showered and to my delight IT WORKED!

I am a man and I sweat a lot. I tried it every place that I could think of and it continues to work every time. Seriously, I am not trying to see if it works for 72 hours! It works after a thorough shower. After using the restroom, thoroughly clean yourself, apply the tube deodorant, and you are set! This product works for me. I purchased the Lume Whole Body Deodorant (unscented) 2 months ago. I am loving it. I wear it under my arms as well as on the soles of my feet. The only drawback was the cost, but I am happy with the results.

I bought the stick Lume deodorant 8 weeks ago. I was very happy with the 3 days of no odor or perspiration. Then about w weeks ago it stopped working. I had odor the very next day. I have read other reviews that say the same thing. Very disappointing. I have switched back to my old deodorant.

I broke out in a horrible rash. After using a few days I had no odor but I had unbelievable amount of sweating under my arms. I don't usually have this. By the 3rd or 4th day I had a painful rash like burn in my arm pits. I do not have sensitive skin but this did a number on me. I do not recommend.

What kind of company spokesperson says UNDER BOOB, THIGH FOLDS, BUTT CRACK? Then proceeds to lather on the crap. She might be a professional but she acts like a perverted circus clown. Besides I can purchase and use a lot of name brand proven deodorants for a lot less. After reading some of your reviews I understand what others say about the smell and how well your product? Works...
Just wish you'd stay off my TV.

I had heard there was this new D. I created by a gynecologist that was all the rave at preventing any pit odor.
I purchased 2 pks for $26.It was NOT worth 26 cents. Guaranteed 72 hr odor free, even safe for genital area. I made it to 24 hr before I smelled like I had run a 10 mi. Marathon. It smelled nice from the dispenser but was totally ineffective as a deordant. Don't purchase this item, it's a waste of time and money!

I normally do not have body odor but after using Lume not only did it not work but I wreaked after 24 hours. I bought the starter package or a friend at the same time and we both have HD the same experience. I would not waste my money.

I have used Lume up until they've recently started selling it in Target. It seems that the formula has changed. I have now had a terrible reaction to coconut and the tangerine had me sweating and SMELLY! I was sooo embarrassed. Reached out to CS to ask if there had been any formula changes and was only hit with a lesson in personal hygiene and upsales for body wash and laundry detergent. The AUDACITY!

Like a lot of people, I was intrigued by the concept of Lume. I am sensitive to a lot of scents and smells, so I ordered my samples in unscented. Unscented means no scent. But not Lume. It smells so bad! I couldn't wash it off soon enough. It may get rid of body odors but it's own scent is worse. Save your money.

Been using the cream coconut crush for about 6 months. Extremely effective for genitals and feet. Then suddenly developed a large painful boil in my butt Crack where I had applied the deodorant. Required 3 to 4 x a day soaks with Dombroro and Neosporin ointment afterwards for 5 days to clear. Very painful. Never had a 'boil' in my life and never had a problem in that area - just listened to the commercial and thought 'why the hell not!' Well, now I know why not. It's a BIG not! Or should I say knot because that's what it felt like. Humiliating because I couldn't actually see it and spouse had to take pix and show me. (Not exactly a great idea of foreplay.) Anyway, it's resolving but no butts about it, don't put it in your butt!

The odor of the cream is nauseating. The stick is just as bad. The ads make it seem like a miracle product. Not the case. I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. I sent it back and hopefully my refund won't take llng.
