As you glance at the above picture, take a moment and try to count the kilts, bagpipes and sporrans that come to view. I couldn’t find any and so is quite often the case when exploring Scotland.
A few years back, I found myself at the bustling heart of Buchanan Street in Glasgow, a vibrant shopping walkway pulsating with life. It struck me then that Scotland had so much more to offer the world than the typical souvenirs most people associate with this enchanting land.
Fast forward through a couple of years filled with product research and meticulous testing - some hits, some misses – but one clear champion emerged from the fray: Tea! Scotland boasts some of the finest teas on the globe, and in recent years, several small tea plantations have blossomed, cultivating their own exquisite blends.
