My review is focused on my work with one individual at Nomad Capitalist.
I would like to formally express my gratitude for the opportunity to work with Andrew. He is thorough in his work, and always makes himself available for team collaboration and discussion. I immensely appreciate his unbroken positive attitude and flexibility. From what I have observed, Andrew is a great leader and does well to keep his team consistently motivated and well-informed. Because he is so dynamic and personable, I believe he would work effectively in any team environment. Andrew is a person I look forward to collaborating with, and I hope to continue my work with him in the future.
Kind regards,
Hannah
Nomad Capitalist is an elaborate scam based on paying money upfront. They look for gullible people with some money to spend. The best you get is a piece of paper where they advice you to get an Algerian(!) passport (because it's not US!). Most people get out at this stage, but they already paid 70-80k USD.
The YouTube channel, the blog and the book have all been instrumental in opening my eyes to the "new world" of living life financially free and abundant offshore, I've been following it all for a few years and it's had a solid impact in changing my life by showing me the greener pastures of life that I dared to believe existed before I even knew them. All the free information alone and value provided is potentially life changing and transforming, if you decide to use is as hurriedly as I have. Furthermore Nomad Capitalist has also been my virtual tribe inspiring me to better myself and everything for those around me, by going where I'm treated best so I can become the best version of myself to give to the world. Thanks and much love Nomad Capitalist I hope to meet you all someday in the flesh! :)
Andrew and his team have been working with me for almost 3 years now, they helped me all the way from opening my first overseas bank account all the way to applying for dual citizenship & investing abroad.
The knowledge I've received has been invaluable, and the service has been exceptional.
I attended a small seminar with Nomad Capitalist in Jan. It was fantastic. I had expected to learn a lot about the mechanics of living a digital nomad life, and I wasn't disappointed. Andrew and his team were very knowledgeable in all areas of living a digital nomad life. It was great being able to get some serious time with them to do some deep dives into specific questions about business, taxes and investments. What was unexpected, and really transformational, was the experience of meeting the other attendees as well as his team. I learned so much from them when discussing their own life stories, and it really initiated a change in my mindset. It was great hearing about their motivations and experiences for pursuing their lifestyle, and convinced me that it is really important to network with other like-minded people. I really look forward to staying in touch with them, as well as meeting other fellow nomads at future events.
Thank you for your time and effort in building out my plan to transition from one jurisdiction to the other. The service has been exemplary and I've been very impressed with the quality of the introductions. Quality service with quality introductions are worthy of investment, i'm certain myself and my company will make the biggest ROI this year from our investment made in utilising the services of Andrew and his team. The girls have been quick and efficient in ensuring the plan is implemented. Highly recommended.
It may take a while, but you can learn all of this and more simply by spending a few days surfing the Net. May take you longer; like a week or even a month but eventually you will learn more that these guys do. Keep your money!
In our initial call I was quoted $24,000 USD to establish a new tax residency. I took the cautionary step of confirming by email that this $24K would cover not only the planning document, but all steps required to actually obtain the new tax residency. Nomad Capitalist confirmed this in writing. They said they needed the money upfront to proceed and I sent it. After the money was sent, I was informed that it would actually cost $59,000 USD, in other words an additional $35K to proceed. No reason was given for the almost 150% price increase. When I said this was unreasonable and in breach of their promise to me and asked for my money back, I was first ghosted for a number of weeks and then informed that the $24K I had already sent was non-refundable. A pretty standard bait-and-switch scam, the only difference here being that they've done a great job of marketing themselves as trustworthy via their books/podcasts/Youtube videos, etc, so I trusted them. Don't fall for it!
Do yourself a favour and steer as clear as you can from these guys. There are plenty of trustworthy local experts in whatever jurisdiction you're interested in moving to, and those local experts will know people in your home country to help you on that side as well.
So you have to file an "application" if you want to work with them, telling them your motivations and feelings, and - most importantly - how you intend to pay the fee for their services (PayPal, wire transfer, Bitcoin etc.) During filling out the application form you learn that their services will probably cost you between $12k and $18k (without anyone even checking your requirements or your situation!), and you are asked to confirm whether you are ready and willing to pay this amount (up front, of course) if they should decide to work with you.
What is missing from the application form however are specific questions regarding your current company structure, income situation, the specific services you require of them etc.
I believe that is all one needs to know about this company. Luckily there are plenty of serious offshore consultants out there.
Horst, we see that you have left multiple comments around social media indicating how you don't wish to work with us, and we understand that we may not be the best fit for you.
While we do not have a record of your application (which could have possibly been deleted under GDPR), we do appreciate your feedback on the client application process.
We would point out that specifics of a client's corporate structure and other details are generally discussed on an initial call or during the actual process once we've been retained.
So here we go. Irena P assumed our file. She dug right in from the first day, super organized, communicative, gracious and very professional. With Irena, we never had to place a reminder on our agenda. Irena is a go getter and is always eager to help. She is one of a kind. We are so glad we worked with Irena. We sure will miss her.
Answer: And from what I've read, I agree. Something doesn't smell quite right. My wife and I have taken an early retirement (in the U.S.) We are considering moving to Europe and we are hoping to lightly work (teach English) while we explore the continent. I've looked at all of Nomad's published information and it seems legitimate on the surface. BUT... 1. Nomad seems to respond only to the negative reviews. Why not respond to the positive reviews as well if helping people is your stated goal? 2. The Nomad responses to the negative reviews are slicker than greased Teflon. They are incredibly smooth, PR-wise. The person who writes them is extremely talented. I am not naïve. Nomad obviously is an unabashedly capitalist venture, and anyone over 35 years old can see that. But a world worth living in runs on more than pure capitalism. Craving a better life and making it happen is admirable. But government greed is not the only greed out there, and all of it rots the soul. Signed, an American Libertarian with a human streak

Answer: He's an obvious fraud, but I think you already know that.
Answer: The current base price for the nomad capitalist services seems to be $9,000
Answer: Nomads is all about slick sales to get your money, then you find they don't know what they are talking about.at least in Europe. I mean what other business tells people moving abroad they can "get by with English"? As a tourist in tourist traps, maybe. To get the best service, and best prices, you MUST learn their language! Nomad starts ignoring you soon after they get your payment.
Answer: Are you stupid? Why would you ask the scammer Nomad Capitalist or anyone here? Consult a credible CPA and law firm in the USA! You must have very little money to be so foolish as to ask such a question to strangers and unqualified people.
Answer: Hey, so there's not much to do about it unless you get rid of your citizenship. We don't do that stuff so it woud be best to speak to an attorney. All citizens must go through it but there's lot to learn online and it can be done on your own. Unless its repealed, it applies to you.
