I ordered several items 13 days ago. Still haven't arrived... ontrac has to be the worst delivery service... don't bother buying from rack. Lots of aggravation. Customer service is no help either. The store is a dump too.
I went in Nordstrom Rack downtown Portland Oregon and was followed around by the MIC Ida and three not so undercover security. One is a white guy with a tan and puffy hair, second white girl with long blonde hair braided, third white Asian. All three ran around the store following from upstairs to downstairs. Finally I asked to speak with MIC who at that time was Ida. Ida had already targeted me for whatever reason. She said they only have one security an she pointed to the puffy hair tanned white guy by the door. I asked the puffy hair security what his name was and he denied to answer. The bottom line is that I was racially profiled because Nordstrom Erik the owner allows it its his way of saying he only wants white peoples business and not blacks, Indians, Asians, Mexican or any others which is sad. If you read Nordstrom Customer Bill of Rights you see they are just words because that's the new institutionalized racist things they do in this country. BLM
I have used Nordstrom Rack on line for many years. Always receive the same great customer service you get in their retail stores. Never an issue with returns. Against my better judgement I recently tried Blue Fly and be warned - they are deceptive and impossible to get a refund.
Should stick with the companies you know and trust.
Makes walmart feel like Saks. If you love the idea of wearing stained, cheap clothes come here. Gross dirty used clothes & shoes. Most look like knock offs. Disappointing customer service. Angry, miserable cashiers in the store.

I had to partially return some, as I ordered different sizes of the same dress. There was a mishandling of USPS but the Nordstrom Rack customer service agent, Elaine, went out of her way to track my returns and to accelerate the timing of my refund. She exceeded my expectations.
Her recommendation is to create an account and not use guest checkout, as it makes order handling easier for every one. Will do! Thanks!
As a busy professional, I order online and have things delivered. 9 out of 10 times, it does not fit properly, but I have to try! I am 5 foot, muscular and petite. Clothes shopping has always been difficult, and most items have to be altered. More so in the last decade due to US manufacturers creating larger clothing with a smaller size tag due to the obesity epidemic that is so relevant. If you are short and petite, go to Zara or another European store and stay out of Nordstrom Rack.
My review is similar to others on here - do not buy from the online store. I ordered three items on Dec 6 and they were not shipped until Dec. 15. One item was cancelled due to inventory issues and I was refunded. Ok, fine. Another item I have received already. A third item, which is a Christmas gift, is still not here and it's Dec 24 today. I just got another e-mail saying it will not be here by Christmas. I understand USPS is hectic during holidays and this pandemic, I get it. But why are things not being shipped out for 9 days or so?! Sounds like they need to hire some more warehouse workers. My first & last time ordering from here. I wish I would've saw these reviews before I purchased.
I ordered a pair of sunglasses it literally took 2 weeks for them to come from California to Chicago. I could have rode there on my grandma's wheel chair and back faster than Nordstrom Rack takes to ship. I would rather pay the $5 shipping than get that bs free shipping.
I bought a pair of running shoes in cash but they were to small. All tags are on the shoe but without a receipt they can't even exchange them for a larger size. I've purchased at other high end stores and they'll give you store credit if you don't have the receipt. I was on hold for over 5 minutes and spoke to the manager (who didn't even give her name) and she said "NO". Very bad customer service, I won't be shopping here again.
I have ordered from Nordstrom Rack to Australia very often. They have not made any errors with my order to date.
The only issue would be the postage is per item, which in USD can add up to quite a bit.
Ignoring service requests. Not resolving an issue. Long wait times. Poor employee knowledge. I am very pleased with my purchases. Aside from them taking a little while to ship, I did not mind, because they were worth the wait. Everything was brand new and just as I expected. Will order from them online again!
Don't waste your time choosing items, bc you won't be able to check out. Just happened to me today, and has happened in the past (a while ago). I called them, and they admitted it is a long-term, ongoing problem. Such incredible incompetence makes me leery of placing an order that may get screwed up, and makes me very leery of letting them have my CC #. I love Nordstrom, but the Rack must be where they send people that can't hack it at Nordstrom. I won't try this site again.
We are disappointed with Nordstrom Rack's online service. On two separate occasions, we recently purchased items, with plans to give out as Christmas gifts. Our products were paid for with a Debit MasterCard. We received an expected date of delivery. The funds were deducted from the MasterCard. But shortly afterwards, a notice came from Nordstrom that our money will be refunded due to a payment issue. I don't understand why there would be a payment issue. Thus far, I have been unable to speak with a manager about this incident.

Sure, they have a nice selection but horrible customer service. The people are nice but there are about 2 of them. I am now 78 in line for an online chat to resolve my issue. It took almost 2 weeks to receive my items; I returned several on October 13 (have receipt) and still, November 1, no refund. In the days of Amazon prime and Zappos and more... why is this the case? I will not shop here again. I have other choices.
Worst experience ever. I made a purchase online for some stuff worth more than $100. If you spend over $100 you get free shipment. It takes over week to get your stuff because they use cheap delivery process. The supervise is impolite when you ask question. Not happy overall.
Horrible company. Nice deals when you get the merchandise but when you don't beware! Purchased diamond earrings and when I opened the box they were not there. Filed many disputes and still nothing. Hautelook / nordstrom rack is refusing to refund my money. $1188 worth. Worse experience ever! When I first contacted them, they assured me everything will be find. NOT! On to the states attorney now
I ordered a dress for a special occasion and in enough time to receive but the date got pushed back due to them not shipping. It took FIVE days for it to leave the warehouse I should have read these reviews before ordering anything. The customer service is ridiculous they are not the brightest crayons in the box on top of being extremely rude. I got an email when I asked for management and it basically reiterated I needed to re purchase the item and ship it expected and return the first one. Huge inconvenience to the customer. I will not be ordering from this place again it's so stressful talking to irrational people I almost had a stroke. Disgusted
I ordered 7 days ago and still no update, says it's ready to ship. Customer Service was 0 help to me. If you don't mind waiting about six months for your items, go ahead and buy from here. Otherwise, I'd just go somewhere else if I were you.
I placed an order 10 days ago. All items were ready to ship, but it said they'd ship in 2-4 days. It's been 10 days and my order still hasn't shipped. I need my items for an event. Customer service will not let me cancel the order.
I'm a longtime Nordstrom Rack customer and have not had any issues in the past, but this is ridiculous. And because other customers who are having similar issues, Nordstrom better figure out a solution fast and do something to make this up to their customers if they want to keep us coming back.
